Jai Ho is a great Indian restaurant. The Ambience is nice, relaxing and vibrant. The quality and the quanity of the food is good. The Serving time is really fast and efficient.. but one small suggestion the staff could be more friendly and smiling..!! Overall I liked it and will visit again 🙂

8 minute walk from Courtyard Gatwick, this was the best Indian food Ive tried in London. butter chicken, saag paneer was all on point. Tasted way better than Dishoom and other places in London. I also tried their Goan Prawn Curry which was nice and spicy. Prices were so reasonable. 3 main dishes and 1 rice and 1 garlic naan for around 40 GBP. Amazing

Great restaurant. Owner is really nice, we were served some extra veggies and starters even before we started ordering. Food portions, quality and taste were all very good. If you are looking for a nice evening spot out this could be it.

Excellent food. With the Poppadom and chutney, all of the chutnies came with very unique and different flavours compared to the typical indian restaurant. The chicken 65's chutney was also amazing. The naan was fluffy and soft and would reccomend. The customer service was great. The time it took to get the food was very short.

Amazing service from the moment you enter. Suresh is welcoming and quite the people person. My colleagues frequent this establishment on their layovers and I tagged along this time. Food is delicious and restaurant is clean (this includes the loo), great atmosphere and I am definitely returning.

This is a rather good Indian restaurant, only 10 minute walk from the main Gatwick hotels. Much better food than you get at the airport and nice to get out in the fresh air. Good Asian and fusion food and reasonable selection of beers and wines. Can strongly recommend the Malabar prawn curry and the lamb chops were really tender and delicious. This is the third time we have been and will definitely go back!

Great Ambience, attentive staff, extensive choice of vegan and vegetarian dishes. All freshly cooked. Whilst other restaurants are cutting back on portion sizes and increasing prices, Jai Ho is doing neither. Quality of their food is second to none. We had ordered Chilli Paneer, Chilli Mushrooms, Mogo Masala, and I highly recommend their crispy cauliflower. This is crunchy, lightly spiced, very flavoursome. I will definitely be going back to Jai Ho.

Lovely restaurant and clearly very popular as it was busy even on a weekday! Staff are great, friendly and very attentive. Food is well priced and portion sizes are great, we were unable to finish our meals so took the leftovers for lunch the next day. The restaurant has red lighting inside, which was a bit too intense for my liking. The fish curry we ordered was really nice, a bit fishy but well seasoned and we absolutely loved the biryani. Would recommend and go again!!

Awful. Terrible service. Asked for a veg vindaloo and they said they don't do it. Looked at me like I was mad. I then asked for a veg Madras and again, they refused. If you can't satisfy your customers then don't have a restaurant !!!

Really would like to support a local business especially in these tough times but after trying the food I want to leave as fair review as I can and hope for customers that intend to come back they do a lot better. Food arrived hot. Packaging did not help because it looked like a poor microwaved meal. Balti and Chicken tikka Massalla looked and tasted exactly the same, like tomato soup. This was not cheap and it didn't feel fresh and was over processed, it amazes me the reviews Jai ho gets because it is soo poor. Any supermarket takeaway would be better.

A little gem, slightly hidden, but near to Gatwick airport. Within easy walking distance from the Hilton (20 mins). Booked on line with ease. Friendly reminder received beforehand (appreciated). A friendly welcome as we arrived inside. A nice open area for dining. More tables could be fitted in, but it was really nice to have the space. Very efficient on order taking, helpful with suggestions. Superb tasting food, the flavours were excellent. As can be seen from the photos, nothing was wasted! Beautiful evening, thanks to the whole team!!

We had a fantastic evening and meal at Jai ho. I asked for specific seething for personal reasons and they did just that. The food tasted lovely, particularly the prawns in garlic which were amazing. The service was exceptional, if they heard a mention of another drink, it was brought over before we even had to ask. Very impressed and will definitely return again (have been before, and again, was very good).

Nice friendly service and the food was amazing. Even one of us had a nut allergy and they made sure they wrote this down when taking orders.

It was the first time at Jay Ho for us and I can say for sure that we will be coming back again and bringing friends! Food is delicious, and full of aroma - the curries were divine!! Also, the service was superb. Loved the outside seating, but did not sit there because of the poor weather. They have great space for parking!

Went to jai ho while returning from work and surprisingly very good experience. Ambiance was awesome and truly a Indian food test. Staff was pleasant, me and my wife enjoyed food there. Truly a Indian restaurant and I recommend who want to test Indian food in lovingly environment.

Food tasty and well presented but not top shelf. Demerits: not only were the poppadoms not fresh, hot and tasty but they tasted EXACTLY like the ones I get from Aldi... They're £1 and there's an undisclosed £3.50 for the chutneys. So 2 Aldi (I guess they might have been Sharwoods) poppadoms cost £5.50. This is not okay. The biryani was quite good and well presented with a chapati over the bowl but, instead of the usual vegetable curry you might expect, it came with a smallish bowl of mild curry sauce and another of riata. Getting what I'm sure were bulk, shop bought poppadoms was all the more surprising when my garlic naan was excellent and fresh out of the tandoor. Nice restaurant (and only 10 minutes walk from the Hilton, 5 from the Marriott) and good ambiance. Set your expectations to a middle setting and avoid the poppadoms and it should be a good meal out. Frankly I don't usually order poppadoms and would have rated it 4+ but for this negative experience. It's also a "fusion" restaurant so they do some Chinese style dishes and most of the staff are locals (not a criticism at all), Indian owned and run so I figured that was a better bet but I'm sure the Chinese dishes would be good.

Basic menu but from what we ordered it was really tasty. Garlic naan especially was really nice! Good service and nice environment. Very reasonably priced.

I visited here for the first time with my partner to celebrate his birthday. The online booking was really easy and we got there a little early but we're welcomed into the restaurant. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was amazing. A great choice but also very authentic (being half Indian myself). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and both said we would be back there again in the future.

From the quality of the food, to the Service everything was perfect. It’s rare within the Crawley area to have such high quality of service from a restaurant. Hats off to each member of staff, clearly looked after well by the Owner and are passionate about the hospitality sector.

Jai Ho’s food has always been par excellence. I am never disappointed in taking anyone there. So last night I took my friend and her daughter for their farewell dinner to Jai Ho. Service was provided by Ms. Elena, who was very kind and was on her toes the entire time. I was delighted to go there last night with my friend.

Superb takeaway with fantastic flavours and brought out to the car park to keep social distancing! We have been eating here for years and all who work there are very polite and efficient. They have upped their game to deal with the virus and deserve all our support.

Jai Ho - A Great tasting curry & extras full of flavour & spices. Excellent home delivery (during Covid 19) Just what was needed after a difficult day. A big thank you to all the Jai Ho staff ?

We have been going here for years and will not use any other curry place in town. Food is always perfect and the service is even better. Recently with Covid 19 we placed an order and they remembered my mum worked for the NHS they gave us a discount and when they delivered order whilst we were unpacking we found they had given us a couple of free dishes as a thank you. We were absolutely stoked and couldn't be more grateful.

Really good Indian food with a twist! Jai Ho has a bit of an Eastern Oriental flavour that I just can't put my finger on! Lovely food, lovely waiters, little bit pricey but worth it as a treat! Well done!

  • 5/5 mgp G. 4 years ago on Google
Jai ho serves authentic Indian food, the ambience is nice. The food itself was good, the portions were good as well. If you don't stay near Hounslow or Southall or Wembley, which have a plethora of Indian restaurants, this is a good alternative.

Still great quality food even with reduced menu with outdoor only seating and disposable implements at the moment.

  • 2/5 Lawrence R. 3 years ago on Google
A great covid safe outdoor space. Not many options on the menu. Maybe covid reduced. I had two curries, neither tasted authentic. They were good British Indian dishes. I would give 4 stars but the owner/manager displayed poor attitude and respect towards his own employees.

The meals were good portions but the as Indians we found that the flavours weren’t all there. We asked for our mains to be spicy but they weren’t spicy and the butter paneer was also sweet not spicy. The staff were good but not enough attention when clearing plates and refilling drinks. But we’re very pleasant. The atmosphere is too dark and there’s not enough people to give the place an atmosphere. It is also cold so could do with more warmth
