Don't sleep or drive by this location, yes it's in a gas station, yes the curry is drinkable. I mean I could have drank the curry, but on naan or rice is better, but dang the Chicken Tikka masala was delicious. Super tender chicken and the samosas were also super tasty. Very reasonably priced and great service.

This place is the Shiiiiznit!!! I had heard good things. All my friends rave about it so decided to give it a go. Awesome!! Awesome, AWESOME!! The chicken curry is great!! Excellent spices and a good kick to it at medium spicy 12.99. Palaak Paneer was great. Rice was good and the Nan bread came out hot and soft. Gotta admit, I was pleasantly surprised. This will be my go to for Indian in this town!!! Great first experience!

I was introduced to this restaurant by coworkers while I was on a field trip in town. I was amazed by this place because their food was very good among other Indian restaurant I have been to. Their sweet 🫓 naan was a big hit among us because it tasted very good and it could be eaten with main food or dessert. All of the main dishes we ordered were very yummy. When I was there, the restaurant was quite full so you can imagine how popular they are. I would go there again if I come to town to visit.

If you have never tried Indian food then this is the spot for you to try. The flavors and smell that come out of the food are like nothing I have had before. The smell is something of it's own and to any foodie what we look for in this type of food. The staff here is beyond nice, as soon as you walk in they make you feel like family. I highly recommend this place. Tell them I sent you. #thepuddingcreektrestle

Really great Indian food. Service is nice, very genuine people. My first time back in a few years and the place was remodeled/rebuilt -more seating and nicer feel. I recommend eating here if you are in town, very popular place.

Incredible! Anyone that says the Lamb isn't good. Is crazy. Not to hate on the chicken because that was incredibly tender as well, but the lamb saag was by far my favorite pick. If you've never had saag, definitely try it. It's just spinach that makes it look green It's not scary. I promise. This is the second best Indian food I've ever had, with my top pick being a place in Dallas, Texas. Texas. So if you want great Indian food it's either here or there for me. Highly recommend the tiki masala, it's a classic and honestly the regular naan was amazing enough for me. Perfect amount of crispy edge and super soft and chewy middle. Rice was great, and the mango lassi is by far the best I've ever had!

    1. The server was rarely present; I had to go out to request a straw that should have been provided with the drinks. 2. There was no one available to request a drink refill. 3. Most importantly, the hygiene was a concern. The spoon we requested was visibly unclean, with a greasy residue. Shared a photo with this review. 4. Despite trying dishes from various Indian restaurants across the USA, the curry here wasn't up to par. However, the biryani stood out as a positive highlight. 5. The long grain basmati rice was supposed to be the highlight, but what we received was sticky and clumped together, lacking the freshness expected. 6. Despite the mixed experience, the Gulab Jamun and biryani were enjoyable. Uncertain if we'll return in the future.

I definitely would give less than one star. The food was ok but there was half a roach in my rice pudding. Supergross and ruined my entire experience.

If you’re a true existentialist, you’ll start by taking a nice walk by the beautiful cemetery, while considering both your own nothingness, and the impact of your existence. Soon you’ll be bored, so you’ll walk down the street past the awesome Maverick USU stadium, and soon enough you’ll find yourself at this little place by a gas station. The space is surprisingly large and well decorated, but the food… oh boy, the food is 💰. My lovely Katie and my daughter ordered the Tika Masala Chicken, and I ordered the Tika Tandori, and that is the 5 star ⭐️ plate. My wife immediately regretted her choice when she saw the goodness that our server brought for me. The texture, the flavor, the sauce was stellar. We all got different Nan, and all of us liked the garlic, ginger, and butter nan. The Masala was good, but not the best I’ve had. My sweet Katie’s own words about the tandori: “that is the best Indian food I’ve ever had.” There you go people, go get yourself some Indian food👌

It's an Indian restaurant built into a Sinclair gas station. It's very well done. The lighting's nice. the atmosphere is nice. The servers are good. The Indian food is great quality. I've never had a single bad dish there I mean they're half a dozen times. They will bring you more rice if you want it. I'm always so excited for the food to get to the table that I never can even take a photo of it before I eat it so you'll just have to trust me. Treat yourself try tandoori oven

Great food! The take out is as good as dining in. The butter chicken is very delicious. Seems like they have limited seating, so there is often a wait to be seated, but the food is worth the wait. This is a great restaurant!

Their vegetable curry is rich, and not oily. I tried their cheese filled nan, and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh cheese. My only critique is the rice. It is not oily, and tastes good, but the rice is a bit broken. I had a refreshing mango lassi fir dessert and as a pallet cleaner. The atmosphere is relaxing and is a recommended must eat. Please note for lunch it is recommended to have 45 min to an hour in order to eat.

THIS IS THE BOSS OF THE RESTAURANTS IN CACHE VALLEY!!! You don’t need to go to any fire subs or soups or pizza place to get a heavenly flavor This place is the best food that you will find in this valley!!! There is not words to describe how amazing this place is in service and food all fresh and with a high quality of ingredients!! The best part is that the leftovers taste even better the next day ( they food don’t dried like the other restaurants) You will love it I will keep coming here until I died and my future generations will do to !!

If anyone has a 1 star review just disregard it. This place is absolutely one of the top restaurants in all of Utah. Their food is flavorful, the service is fast and the people are friendly. I drove over an hour just to return. They need a location in Farmington or Ogden because its just not close enough otherwise I would go monthly. Well done.

We can never get enough of Tandoori Oven’s amazing food. It is always cooked to perfection. The Saag Chicken is my personal favorite, with garlic naan. But I have loved everything I’ve eaten here.

I’ve had my fair share of Indian food in my life, and I would dare say that this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Try their Chicken Tikka Masala. It’s to die for. I’ve never heard a single person complain about Tandoori Oven, but if I did. This is what I’d tell them: बन्दर क्या जाने अदरक का स्वाद. It translates to: What would a monkey know of the taste of ginger? In other words. If you don’t like the food here. You have bad taste, because this is as good as it gets.

Incredible customer service!!! I ordered food online for a stay in date with the wife. It was just about closing time when I went to pick up the food and somebody had already picked up my order. The owner and a couple staff members worked fast to make up for this, working PAST closing to make a brand new order incredibly quickly and profusely apologized for the inconvenience. We got great food made with care and our night was saved! The best I can think of to say thank you for this very kind gesture is to rate 5 stars!

Love it. Food was great. Had not been here in about 8 years. I'm glad I came here for a lunch date with my wife. Staff was ice and friendly and everything was just wonderful. We really enjoyed our lunch. Curry chicken was my favorite of the two that we ordered. We also ordered butter chicken. With garlic naan bread. It was all delicious. So yes we definitely recommend this place.

I was second in line and staff completely ignored me. The girl spoke to everyone that came in before and after but not to me and even signed them up for a table. I came in alone and was the only Hispanic in line. I left after the hostess attended to everyone and avoided eye contact with me. She left the station after helping everyone else. The food smelled great, can’t tell you how it taste.

Great little spot in Logan. The restaurant owner was so kind, the food had great flavor and the ambience was awesome. Don’t judge it being connected to a gas station. 😂. The Strawberry Lassi yogurt drink was so refreshing…be sure to get it. My favorite dish was the Coconut Kurma with the Paneer Naan.😋

Fantastic. Real good, Really well made. Authentic tastes, and the place was packed. The owner was visiting each table to make sure we were happy. We had the Vegetable Samoa appetizer and then chicken tiki masala and chicken saag. The green sauce on the saag was great. Actually it was all very good. Do make a point of stopping here. The naan bread was also real good. I do highly recommend.

My recent visit to Tandoori Oven in Logan turned out to be quite the pleasant surprise. As someone living in Utah County, I've heard good things about this spot, so when passing through Logan, we decided to give it a shot. And I'm glad we did! We were seated almost immediately, even though the place was pretty busy. With our prior experience with Indian cuisine, my group and I knew exactly what we wanted: veg coconut korma, aloo gobi, and butter chicken. The food came out quickly, and the prices were fair. We decided to mix things up with mild, medium, and hot spice levels, and each dish had its own delicious flavor profile. The "hot" option had a nice kick without being overwhelming. Our server was friendly, but it was a bit surprising to see only white staff members. I guess Logan might not have a large Indian or Pakistani population. The atmosphere was decent—nothing too special, but it provided a comfortable setting for our meal. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Tandoori Oven to others, and I wouldn't mind stopping by again if I'm ever back in the area.

Absolutely delicious food! My mouth is watering just thinking about it, ha ha. We love having date night at Tandoori, and they also have amazing takeout! This is one of my very favorite restaurants. Don't let the fact that it's attached to a gas station scare you . . . it really is the best Indian food. Such a gem of a restaurant. They're always busy, but pretty quick about getting you seated.

  • 4/5 Jorey C. 4 years ago on Google
They have excellent food and the give you generous servings for the price. The only downside is that it is very popular and located near USU campus. This makes it busy most of the time. You can call ahead and make a reservation or you can order takeout which comes with this problem. We found that ordering the takeout is very quick and easy.

Tandoori Oven was outstanding! I've not been a fan of Indian food in the past, but this place changed my mind in a big way. Everything we had was so tasty and made to order at our desired spice level. Service was great and we were seated very quickly even though there were quite a few groups waiting ahead of us. We'll definitely be back!

We drove from Sandy because we heard this was the best Indian food in the state and it didn't disappoint. We started with Lamb Samosas, which were crispy and delicious and flavorful. Our go-tos are Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer and both were some of the best we've ever had. Everything was flavorful and delicious. We ordered medium spicy and felt it was fairly mild still, so it seems they use a "Utah Spicy" scale, so if you like spice, don't be afraid to go for hot.

K, this food is fabulous! Their entree flavors are strong, the basmati rice is beautifully fluffy, and naan is perfectly cooked and flavorful. As a group, we shared the chicken Tikka masala, butter chicken, mango chicken curry, and a lamb dish that wasn't curry. All of them were medium on the spicy scale and they were all delicious! Our waiter was quirky and congenial and the food came quickly. I absolutely love this place and will be coming back when I'm in Logan again!

No other Indian place comes even close!!! I've been eating here for years and have always been impressed, but this time I was BLOWN AWAY! The coconut chicken kurma is my favorite and if you like it spicy make sure you get a 4 or 5 on the heat scale. The kurma came out steaming, the chicken was incredibly moist and melt-in-your-mouth tender. We always order two garlic naans per person so that we have enough! The naan is pillowy soft and seasoned perfectly. I also love that they give you plenty of leftovers for the next day and their prices are so reasonable. My husband says I'm like a kid at Disneyland when we come to Tandoori, and I would say I have to agree with him! ???

Absolutely delicious!! This is my go-to restaurant when I’m not sure what I want to eat. I couldn’t go home for the holiday and even got takeaway for my thanksgiving dinner. The food here is good.. me and my buddy ordered the chicken strips as an appetizer and they were very hard and dry. It was apparent they had been sitting for a while. The chicken tikka masala was really good and tested pretty fresh. Overall the food was alright and the service was alright.

This restaurant is awesome. They have the most delicious curry, the butter chicken is our favorite! Some of their appetizers aren't super tasty and are overpriced in my opinion, but that is my only complaint. The service is great and it's an enjoyable environment. We eat here all the time!

One of the most popular places in Logan. Amazing food that is beyond flavorful and so diverse in the flavors they have. Literally heaven on earth.

Really great flavor and quick service. Small cramped parking lot so plan on walking. Spice level here is closer to regular Indian restaurants compared to some other local places, so expect some heat if you ask for it.

Just thinking about Tandoori Oven's hot, steaming, and delicious chicken Tikka massala, soft, puffy garlic Naan bread and a cool, refreshing mango lassi to wash it all down gets my mouth watering almost instantly 🤤 A truly delicious place to eat. Having dined at Indian restaurants across the country, this one is still far and away my number one. If you're anywhere near cache valley, Tandoori is not to be missed!

They were very clean and served very quickly which was great, but the food was extremely bland and unsavory.

Super great Indian food. It looks a lot nicer since the remodel, and you can order takeout online.

Not only one of the best places in Logan, but this is as good as it gets! There is a reason it’s so popular.

In my opinion this is the best place to eat/purchase Indian food. The food is always excellent and the service great! My personal favorites are the spicy Curries and Tikka Masalas. I love getting the Indian Coffee as well it's rich and pleasant to drink.

Always good! Don't get the spicy unless you like the burn. 🔥

Best Indian food I've had. Excellent portions. Good service. Needs more parking, but that comes with the location. Ordering for takeout is the best way to go. Flavor is sometimes inconsistent at times, but it's generally awesome.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Logan— don’t be put off by the fact that it shares a parking lot with a gas station. Since discovering this gem we plan a trip from out of town every year just to eat here. Seriously. The tandoori dishes are excellent!

I'm a broke college student and yet I'll still treat myself to Tandoori Oven at least twice a month if not more. The food is PHENOMENAL. It's carefully crafted and sooo flavorful. The owners and staff are so kind and passionate about sharing this Indian cuisine with the valley. I will always recommend this place to anyone!

Best thing today: the mango ice cream! Wow, that was amazing! Tried a bunch of other dishes that were at the table. My favorite: the butter chicken! It was so flavorful! Second place: the chicken tikka masala. Yum! The coconut kurma was really good too. Very friendly reception and the waitress was really nice. Good experience.

I wish there was a way to give 4 1/2 stars, because I feel the restaurant deserves more than four, but I haven't had great experiences with their lamb. The couple times I had a dish with lamb that wasn't ground, it was pretty gristly. However, the flavor is always amazing and I have no complaints about anything else. I don't think I've ever had a piece of tough or fatty chicken, which is impressive. The sauces are always rich and creamy, the saag is fabulous, the coconut-based curries to die for. The mango lassi is the best I've had. The worst part about Tandoori is how popular it is; it can be hard to find parking and seats. I usually get my food to go, but since the renovations the interior is beautiful, so I recommend dining in. The service has always been good and the owners are friendly and helpful. Also they sell spices through the gas station, which is super fun.

One of the best Indian places in Utah. We always go here when we come to Logan. Takeout or dine in is always yummy. The service is excellent and they have great suggestions to try new things. The lamb korma cannot be beat. We recently had a big family gathering and got a large takeout order from Tandoori Oven. They were so helpful figuring out how much food, what to do order, and accommodating our pick up. A true gem!

Delicious! Did not disappoint. Was a little reluctant to go outside my comfort zone with Indian cuisine, but was surprisingly impressed! I got the mild pineapple curry, and was very pleased with the spice amount! The mild was not spicy at all. We followed it with the mango ice cream. Definitely full of flavor, but not my favorite. My husband loved it tho! Will definitely be coming back!

Delicious food. Definitely the best Indian place in Logan probably in my top 2 restaurants of Logan overall. A little pricey but it's also a fancy restaurant and the food has never disappointed me so the price is definitely worth it. Would recommend getting the Chicken Tika Masada or the Chicken Curry. Both are amazing.

We are so happy we stopped by this place! The parking really sucks but let me tell you, the food and the service was amazing! We had the butter chicken, and it’s definitely one for the books!

I ordered the chicken Saag and it was - again - delicious. I had not been a fan of Indian food until my son introduced me to this dish two years ago. Now, whenever I come to Logan I have to have it at least once. I can't tolerate spicy food but this dish is not only seasoned to my taste, keeping it on the mild side, but it is seasoned so incredibly well. The staff was very nice and the food was ready at the time they had suggested. It was a great experience and I think I hooked my husband on this dish too.

Yeah super authentic Indian food. There’s great depth to the flavor and spice to their Tikka Masala, though I wish there was a little more chicken. The rice that came with it was refilled for me and my GF free of charge after we quickly ran out. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu.

Gluten free and vegan options are clearly labeled. Blessings on their heads for that, as I struggle with certain food intolerance. The food is glorious 🙌 The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. My daughter got their Naan bread, mango lassy and butter chicken. I got a vegan curry. We were going to save our left overs for breakfast, but are now having second dinner instead.

  • 5/5 Gage P. 9 months ago on Google
This is by far the best Indian food, or really ANY food you can get anywhere near here. Not too mention they have awesome VEGAN options! Although there's lots of meat stuff there as well. Really love the huge samosas and the sauses and really any of the cury is too die for but the coconut ones are probably the best ones to try first.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in cache Valley, you get seated right away with a friendly waiter. You get your order taken within seconds of sitting down, and literally your food comes out within the next five minutes or less. their service and their food is top quality! we go at least three times a month!

Every time we eat here the food is so good and consistently wonderful. Chef Tiwari does an excellent job with making such flavor in the food. Sylvia, the waitress is always friendly. Always a great experience here.

Went to lunch with a friend. The chicken was amazing and wasn't too spicy. I got medium heat and it was perfect for me. Just the right amount of heat to bring out the flavor. Don't let the location deter you from going here. Connected to a gas station, fabulous food, for a reasonable price. And fantastic service. Will be going there again.

Very tasty curry dishes (chicken and pineapple, lamb, and chicken) along with naan - an absolutely enjoyable Indian lunch. We also enjoyed some tasty yogurt/fruit based specialty drinks (we tried both mango and strawberry versions).

This was my first time trying Indian cuisine. I went with a couple of friends who eat it all the time, and they said it's the best Indian food they've had since moving to Utah 3 years ago. I loved the Chicken Tikka Masala and the sampler appetizer! I can say this Tandoori Oven has made me a fan of the food. The service was off the charts as well. 10 out of 10 recommend eating here.

  • 5/5 Madison H. 6 months ago on Google
We literally scraped our plates clean! So delicious, very clean, inviting, friendly environment. We had the chicken tikka masala, lamb karahi, garlic & paneer naan and a vegetable pakora appetizer. Definitely recommend this place & dishes to anyone here in town looking for a supper flavorful & memorable experience. The owner came out and recommended this amazing dessert called mango Icecream with gulab gamun. Chefs kiss!!!

This is the best and most authentic Indian food in Logan. The food is excellent. I’ve eaten there many times. The curry meals have enough food for my wife and I. We will usually order a few Nan bread to go with it.

  • 5/5 Clay M. 5 months ago on Google
Okay. Buckle up - here we go. The owner is awesome, the food is probably the best Indian I have had since moving to Utah 10 years ago. In a state that is ,we’ll say, lacking in cultural diversity - this is an absolute gem. Is it connected to a convenience store and gas station ? - yes. Who freaking cares!? (If that bothers you get over yourself.) Some of the best food comes from mom-and-pop owned convenience store kitchens. (i.e. fried chicken in rural Louisiana) This place is so good it made me apply for citizenship in India. If you’re in Logan do it. Don’t be lame. Do it. Generations of your posterity will thank you.
