Had planned to visit Pizza Face but found the Curry Leaf instead. Ordered a selection of starters to share between the three of us. The food was delicious and the service friendly. Prices reasonable too. So pleased we found this place. Would love to come back some time.

The food was delicious and there was a great variety. We had the vegan sharing platter which included a lot of different dishes, all very nice. The punjabi samosa was wonderfully crispy. The spicing was spot on mate, spot on, and they even catered for my fussy little brother. The waiter named the dishes as he served them which was great, and he seemed very knowledgeable about them. Staff were friendly and service was quick. We’ll go again when we’re next in Brighton.

Welcoming staff although we could not book. Food nice but portions small. What we didn’t like was the waiter hovering around our table with the card machine whilst we were still chatting and drinking. This was around 11 pm on a Saturday night. Furthermore the waitress was sweeping up around another table with guests still trying to enjoy their evening. Would not rush back.

Beautiful service and amazing food. The cocktails are also outstanding and I definitely recommend the mojito.

Really good food and helpful service. The menu has a selection of snacks and small dishes, a good tandoori choice and plenty of vegetarian curries, biryani etc. The drinks selection includes draft lager and plenty of craft beers in cans. My only criticism is that the naan bread could have been fluffier and the mixed toilets could have more attention during the evening.

Great descriptive menu, smaller portions so your advised to order a selection of dishes much like a mezze, artisan beers and a great cocktail menu.

Foods are good and tasty! The service was not good at all, I waited for about half an hour for the waiter to order, and one more half an hour to be served. Despite all other Indian cuisins I have ever been Naaan was extra!!!

Great tapas style Indian 'street food' . Superb !. Tender meats infused with lovely spices and tasty sauces. I asked for a beer like Cobra, and was introduced to Roadrunner ale (I think that was what it was called !)....nectar !. If the place doubled in size I think it would still be hammered. All the staff were great, and I have absolutely no hesitation recommending The Curry Leaf Café. Happy days👍

Brighton was lacking in decent Indian food before Curry Leaf Cafe came along. Chicken Biryani, Muttar Paneer and Punjabi Samosas in particular are great... But it's all good.

Had the Tiffin meal deal for two people and it was absolutely delicious! Great value and really tasty food. Will definitely have this again!

Had a really flavourful & satisfying meal from here. the tiffin meal is relatively good value. If I had one criticism it would be that the chutneys and curry sauces were a bit on the sweet side.

Indian food with a twist. Very different to your usual Indian but in a good way. Small but select menu with plenty of vegan friendly options, quality ingredients (especially the Lamb) that are expertly cooked. Good selection of craft beers. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, can't wait to get back there.

A friendly place, with interesting food. The service is good and the quality of the food is excellent. It isn't the most plush place, the seating is a bit uncomfortable, but an interesting place for a first casual date or a night our with friends.

Good to have food here if you are tasting Indian for the first time. Food taste not exactly match with the authentic Indian food. Overall staff were very friendly so you can customize the food as per your taste.

First time ordering food from Curry Leaf and we were not disappointed! We ordered quite a bit but I specifically remember the butter chicken which was exceptional! Definitely would eat here again.

To expensive! For a vegetable side is £6.95 disgusting! The Pavel Indian restaurant is much better! And it's about a min from the curry leaf!

Used to be good, but now is kind of meh. Seems like they started cutting corners like undercooking the onions and vegetables. The service is decent and the staff is very friendly

Curry Leaf is one of the best Indian eateries in Brighton! Staff are excellent at catering to your needs and making each visit exceptional. I look forward to my next visit!

Lamb rogan josh. Nice and spicy.

Got a take away when I walked past, staff was nice very friendly, but unfortunately the food wasn’t the same. I had a basic muttar paneer with bread but it was very watery, could’ve had a bit more flavour and the naan was small, thin and a bit burned. Giving 3 instead of 2 because I only tried a simple dish and I like the curry leaf at the station!

The food was good, very fragrant and fresh, but a little unbalanced. They needed some more heat and perhaps a crunchy or salty chutney. Nice cocktails.

On a busy Boxing Day evening we had a delicious meal with the help our lovely and patient server. The mushrooms and the tandoori prawns were amazing and the sharing curry platter was a great way to try three great, fresh, flavoursome and distinctly different curries in one go. With a naan, tamarind rice ? and a couple of dips the two of us were tantalised and satisfied beyond any expectation! Best shared as when eating alone you cant try as much of the great food! Disappointing food! No welcoming greetings or proper waiting skills Tandoori grill was a couple of chicken drumsticks one of which was red near the bone, a chewy lamb something and a tasty but over chillied Sheesh kebab... chutney and naan however were very tasty.

Lots of hype about this place. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Food was average and so was the service. Could do better.

Tiny portions, rubbish atmosphere. Very rarely feel compelled to write a bad review but being local we'd seen this place being decorated and couldn't wait to try it. We were told there would be a 30-40 min wait but we couldn't book, we were offered to sit and wait with a drink but we felt in the way as it is rather cramped. We went off for a walk and came back and luckily there was a table available. The food was over priced and the main curries were the size of a side dish but for almost £10 for the veggie option and the beer was £5 for the size of a coke can. To top it off a group of drunk 40 somethings came in scream laughing and even though the manager tried to ask them to be quiet it was very awkward. Spent almost £40 and left hungry and not happy. Staff tried their best but surprised how bland the food was after the amazing reviews from the restaurant in town. Hopefully the menu (and the prices) will change.

Great staff, chilled out ambiance. I just walked in asked for what I wanted without looking at the menu. Had an amazing king prawn damask, sag aloo, Peshwari Naan and pilau rice with a bottle of Kingfisher on the side. Staff were ironically amusing but not in your face. Will be going back. Oh there's a funky fish tank also!
