Love the food here! We are pretty regular here, the server is very friendly. Literally everything here is great, however we love the Ulvacharu special biryani (panner), charminar biryani, gobi Manchurian and obviously their kaja and badusha are yum too. Highly recommended. We ordered vijayawada chicken biryani and chilli chicken appetizer. Their biryani is not that spicy but it has good flavor. It was different than other places but I enjoyed the taste. It has good amount of chicken and gravy so it doesn’t feel dry either. The chilli chicken was good too but it was very spicy which sometimes felt overpowering. But if accompanied with some rice it tastes well. They offered a free tea as well.

There are some places that can make the ordinary seem glorious, this place is surely one! The buffet is delightful and I am sure they had run out of naans because of our group! The servers were like our trusted companions who knew what we wanted. The space is airy and well-lit and most importantly, it is clean. The buffet pricing is unbelievably reasonable and I would recommend the mango lassi and the ragda patties/pattice.

Loved it. Unlimited buffet for $20. My favorite was Gobi 65. Gobi Manchurian is very common while Gobi 65 is not. I was glad to find it here. And I was sold when I saw curd(yogurt) prepared in a mud pot. The curd had a nice hay touch to it. You have great vegetarian and vegan options here. The custard was very good. Filling meal! Parking might be difficult if there are any events. Otherwise, it should be good.

I came here for the lunch buffet. UlavacharU has a legit Indian Buffet during lunchtime. There were a ton of Indian folks eating here, so you know the food was good! This place gets packed on weekends...I'm talking 30 minute plus wait if you come late or have a bigger party even though the venue is large. This place used to be a bar / club so its not small. There are large rooms where they host private events. Parking can be very challenging, as the lot is not very bid and has an odd layout. ~ Lunch Buffet - 4.5/5 Overall 4.5 **** for the food. I couldn't tell you all the dishes I ate, some were familiar to me others weren't. Most definitely beats going to some chain restaurant. Can't beat the value...

I visited the banquet for a baby shower party. The banquet is next to the restaurant, and they served the buffet lunch. It’s an Andhra style buffet with chicken dum biriyani and all. I loved gobi manchurian and chili chicken as appetisers. The food was spicy ( not too much though) and aromatic. They had good selections of both veg and non veg dishes. The banquet was spacious, and clean. We decorated ourselves and took them off at the end. Overall, pretty good.

The buffet is a good spread on vegetarian and meat based dishes. The staff is pretty quick in cleaning and refilling the dish trays. The place is buzzing with customers through the lunch time. That said it’s a little on the expensive side

Great Ulavacharu Paneer Biriyani! I’ve hardly waited to get a seat here every time I come here! Decent vegetarian options! Unique aspect: We can help ourselves to extra sides like Dahi/curd if we want more! People however should be careful when they park here since I saw a case where someone’s car glass window broke! Not a pretty sight and it really scared me! It was only around 7:30-8PM that day.

Some interesting items. Food in general is good but nothing spectacular. The most interesting item was probably the appetizer which was jalapeno peppers deep fried in chickpea batter (4 stars). Goat Biryani was not that good...dry and plain (2 stars). The chicken dish (forgot the name) was tender and very flavorful (4 stars). Garlic nan was also pretty good (4 stars). The curry paneer was a bit on the plain side (3*).

I regularly order Family Pack Biryani from Ulavacharu. They used to serve it hot and fresh. Today when I received my order. The food Quality was very bad and cold. When I called them directly to enquire about it, they didn’t give proper answer and hanged the phone and hasn’t picked up after that. I wouldn’t order any more and suggest anyone to buy here. Especially for the attitude they have shown towards their customers.

The Thursday dinner buffet is probably the best food / $ around the area. Everything tastes amazing and for 17.99 i cant really complain. They also have mango lassi that are pretty cheap and great for the price.

The lunch buffet is very impressive. You may need 3 bellies to finish all the varieties of food. I also have had dinner Briyani here. The rice is soft and the pieces are well cooked. Totally loved it. Parking sucks so please plan ahead and prepare to walk if you are parked /from nearby.

Tikka masala tasted good but it was mild for me, although i had asked for hot. Garlic naan was soft. Curry came with steamed rice. Price is reasonable. Service was quick.

1st time here & there were so many variety of vegetarian dishes & about 5-6 dishes with meat. The line was crazy long and had to wait at least 5 to 10 minutes during peak hours each time you go to get food. I saw the server refill the goat curry curry, and I scooped it up right away. When I ate it along with the buttered, chicken and fish, it was literally Luke warm to cold. I told the server which he had 3 guys replaced the foods right away so that was a good thing. There is a waiter that comes by every 10 to 15 minutes to refill your naan basket automatically, so no need wave down someone, so another plus. The beer is literally free and included in the buffet price cost $.10. This place is sort of like a house, but converted into a restaurant. They have multiple rooms and also banquet room & outdoor seating. Overall, I will come back again but right when they open.

Very good Place to try most of the Indian food items in one buffet. Even the personal orders are also and they are trying to maintain the taste. Authentic appetizers and some dishes which is the true taste from India. Due to spaces issues waiting is long but worth waiting.

As soon as we reached the place the aroma of the biryani was welcoming us and our mouths started watering. This place has amazing buffet spread. You get to enjoy a beer for 1cent during lunch. They have some fresh sweets to take home 😊 I would totally recommend it to anyone.

The only complaint I have about this restaurant is that it doesn't have AC inside and only one fan on the left side section. The food is tasty. The weekend buffet had around 20 items. They are continuously bringing Naan to the tables and serving. The cleaning crew is cleaning the plates very frequently. Their tea doesn't have sugar in it. They are serving beer for one cent along with a buffet. They do have live Pani Puri. It was busy by 12.15pm on Saturday. They served mutton biryani, chicken biryani, and veg biryani. The menu had butter chicken, Andhra chicken curry, egg curry, tandoori chicken, saag paneer, mutter paneer, hot Pongal, pulihora, punugulu, Gobi 65, peanut chutney, roti pachadi, tomato chutney, mango pickle, jilebi, gulab jamun, boondi laddu, curd , buttermilk, mango lassi and tea. Their chintachiguru pappu was authentic. It's a kids friendly restaurant. The food is not spicy as many non-Indians were eating.

Nice restaurant. But the management should ensure that foods in the trays are kept hot during the service of buffets as even tasty preparations are more relishing when these are hot.

Dinner menu on weekends has very limited Andhra/ Telangana menu and the food is horrible. Bread basket is completely uncooked. Forget about the curries. Not worth commenting. Recommend to not to go to this restaurant if you prefer Andhra/ Telangana food for dinner. Don’t Waste of money and time.

We have been here so many times because the food is so delicious! I recommend trying the vijaywada chicken biryani because it is just outstanding. It’s personally my favorite biryani ever. If you go on Sundays they have a buffet. The staff are very friendly and they have quick service. I hope that if you go you and whoever you go with will enjoy UluvacharU.

It’s a southern India dishes buffet! There are lots of options with good price! You can have drinks, food, and desserts altogether! Good lamb curry, chicken, and vegetable curry! Sorry for my taste about beef that many dishes are good to me! They don’t provide beef actually!

I did the decoration for my client who was organizing a birthday there (I’m a party planner/decorator) and the space was nice. They could give the banquet hall a fresh paint and some repairs but the space is big and kind of nice. Definitely a place to consider if you’re doing an event and would love Indian food.

I was there today with my sister. Waited for 20 minutes to be seated, it’s not a complain, but guess it’s normal. Once seated, waited for few minutes for the menu. The server rudely smashed the menu on the table. We didn’t even get a minute to review the menu and the server was ready to take order. We ordered appetizers and food and guess what, the appetizers came after the food. I guess it’s their norm. No water was served until asked. As for food, it’s top notch, but of the service sucks, I am not going there again. R and A

Food is good - portions are small - waiter hangs on you until you order - spicy is not spicy 🤷🏼‍♂️ Butter chicken was best plate - 4 plates and naan was barely good for 6 people - another plate would have helped

I’ve been here couple of times, the taste is pretty consistent. Have tried their a la carte menu and Sunday buffet. Their recent buffet after the pandemic was not at par compared to before the pandemic. Nevertheless the buffet had quite a lot of veg and non veg options in appetizers, curries and biryanis. Highlight for me was the biryani, good chicken and mutton biryani. Unfortunately they did not serve dosas with the curries instead it was Kulchas. Food is good but the ambiance is bad, they should improve on the ambiance and service. They have significantly increased the buffer prices to $22 now. Also very limited parking space especially during the weekends.

This has been our Friday night go-to place for close to a year now. We sometimes even sneak in a Sunday, in addition to the Friday trip, because it's just that good. We've had quite a few of their main dishes and all have been very flavorful, though we do tend to get the same 3 or 4 entrees now that we have narrowed down our favorites. The Guntur Egg Burji is my very favorite thing... ever! I have no idea how many spices are actually in this thing but I can taste at least 5 individually and separate from what appears to be something like 6 different ingredients. That is saying quite a lot about the skill of a chef's cooking. Often flavors can meld too much to taste the complexity of the dish. Not here. It's a happy dance sort of meal for me as my words can't describe the flavors and do it justice; You'll really have to try this one for yourselves. My SO get's the Mutter Paneer 100% of the time and very much enjoy's it. You should know, I have ordered this dish from every place that serves it within a 30-mile radius. I have spent hours (literally) searching for a place that has Mutter Paneer that meets this boy's standards. You have no idea how happy I am to have finally gotten (after playing with the spice level ordering) a "mouth full, thumbs up!" seal of approval. There is the perfect amount of peas to sauce ratio, size and amount of paneer, spice level, AND sauce consistency. These are apparently very hard things for a chef to achieve all at once (sarcasm) as no one but UlavacharU has been able to do so. NOTE: We have never actually eaten in the restaurant and can not attest to the wait service. We have only ever ordered delivery (pre-covid) and To-Go pick up (post-covid) but the service has always been amazing when picking up To-Go. Please consider ordering directly through UlavacharU's website as delivery companies have forced already struggling restaurants during the pandemic to pay heavy "convenience fees" causing most restaurants to lose $ on transactions. Please google this topic to stay informed if you truly want to support your local restaurants. Also, UlavacharU heavily discounts your order if you order via their website; as a thank you for not using a delivery service I'm sure.

Here is a very slow service! They work on their schedule. The staff of this establishment tells the client that the order will be ready at a certain time, but in fact you have to wait a very long time. If you have nowhere to spend your personal time and want someone to do it for you then come here. I don't love

Did a takeout lunch order of vijaywada chicken biryani (boneless) and gobi Manchurian It was my first time trying a boneless biryani . It was delicious and the portion was huge Due to the lockdown i am struggling to eat at my favorite places as frequently as I normally do ( Uluvacharu included ) This was a very refreshing change to get a meal that I enjoyed at home without the hassle of cooking Boneless chicken biryani was a concept launched in India a couple of years ago and it is very popular there and it is great to see Bay Area Indian places introduce it here “Vijaywada “ is the milder of the biryanis on The menu but I found it to be high on flavor and low on heat I would order again at the earliest opportunity If you have never tried Hyderabadi cuisine and want something low on the heat index I highly recommend this biryani and this restaurant
