Really beautiful large restaurant. This has got to be in my top 5 Indian restaurants. The staff are very attentive and I think its good value also. We ordered from the lunch menu which is 29.95 with a drink. The food was amazing, the drinks were good and all round I would definitely return when I'm back in the area.

A very beautiful spot to have an Indian meal. The view while dining is just beautiful. Coming to the food, the quality of the dishes was very good but it lacked a bit of that burst of favours you expect when you try Indian food. We had ordered a Bhuna and paneer handi and the flavour could've been better. we had to order a biryani because we weren't that happy with the main course . The hospitality was very good. Overall a 3.5 to 4 star experience

What a superb experience. I will have to say the best Indian food in dublin. The service was good . I tried the set lunch menu and trust me it’s can be easily split between two. I tried the samosa, murghi buna, aloo gobi and paratha . They also give popaadams , a drink and aloo pokoras complimentary. Thank you team. Enjoyed every bit of it. Will definitely will be back

Don't waste your time or money here.. Unnecessarily over-rated!! One of the worst experience you can ever have. The restaurant manager is very RUDE. During our dinner, a glass of water spilled on the table. All what they offered was a couple of napkins... When we asked to change table at the desert time, they arrogantly refused to honor our simple request! Even though it was 10:30 pm and the restaurant had plenty of empty tables. Shame. Picture of how bad the table was here. Save your money and consider lots of the nicer alternatives all around the city.

Amazing food in probably the most classic paquistaní restaurant in Dublin. The menu is super authentic but with a pinch of modern mixture. I have gone so many times and will never get bored of trying new things as well as my favorites.

First thing sitting next to a door is no fun when people are bumping into you. Hated that from the moment I sat down. The food is ok, it’s not authentic Pakistani as their website states because it’s been changed to suite the local taste. The food was ok but lamb curry had few hard pieces so Mrs rejected it. Chicken tikka was tender, bihari kebab was tender. I felt they used alot of meat tendering powder. Bhindi fries were good and happy that we ordered them. Ordered some fries for 4 years old and once the order was received we were shocked that they aren’t skinny fries but actually they are extra extra skinny fries. I don’t even know what to call them. My 4 years old never saw those and all the dinner time he stayed waiting for the fries. Eventually after our dinner, I had to buy him fries from another place. Overall experience was good because our host was great and she looked after us. Ambiance was great and a good evening we had the only negative was the quality of lamb and fries let us down.

Nice experience. We had the early bird menu.. prawn shashlik, seekh kebab and aloo pakora to start. All really good except the aloo pakora which was kind of bland. For the main we had lamb korma, murghi jalfazi and a side of tarka dal. The mains come with rice and naan. Everything about the mains were amazing except the korma sauce which was a bit underwhelming. The lamb in the korma was incredible. Ice cream and rice pudding for desert. The total bill was €110. I would recommend this restaurant… I would choose something different from the aloo pakora and the lamb korma if I was going again. I have included a photo of the early bird menu and the full a la carte menu because I noticed that there are literally no menus to look at on maps. The staff were so good. Really friendly and efficient. Enjoy!

Absolutely delicious food! The lobster tail was fantastic and for main I had the chicken tikka masala and my god it was even better! We also ordered like 3 types of naan and they were gorgeous! Gorgeous food and great staff! Also please order a mango lassi! So so so yummy!

  • 1/5 Ossama E. 4 years ago on Google
This was a big disappointment as we wanted to come eat here for the last 5 years. The food is way below average. Crazy amount of sugar added to palak paneer. The chicken is very hard and not juicy with the malai tikka and Mughul khoppra. The lamb chops are a not chewable. The mango lassi is all sugary. We couldn’t finish our meal and we left. The service is average. The setup is very nice and the ambiance is classy. The music is western music playing which doesn’t go

Great menu & good service The Seafood platter was a real treat and well executed by the chefs The main courses were a bit disappointing as the appetisers were so good. Desserts expect Gulab Jamun are all European. Some Kulfis, Falooda would nice .

+ High-quality, fresh and delicious meals. Taste incredibly well. Dishes are well seasoning. Congratulation to Chef and all responsible kitchen staff. + Excellent selection of starters, mains, sides, desserts, drinks and vegetarian, vegan options available too. + Wonderful atmosphere with nice music. + Excellent high-quality service, polite manners, warm friendly welcome. + Perfect timing of preparation and serving. + Beautiful indoor design with a nice touch with a beautiful sea view. Not so many restaurants in Dublin bay have a sea view and access to the sea. + Spotless. Super clean. + Great location at the doorstep of sea and beach. + Very good price range. Negative: - Paid Parking is on the street. - Lack of outdoor sitting. I highly do recommend Kinara. Looking forward to returning soon. Great little spot on the coast, perfectly set up for takeaway during lockdown. 3 of us got the BBQ with Mixed Salad on a naan. All very happy with it. Unreal value for €10! Highly recommend, super fast and tasty with friendly staff! Will definitely visit again when out that way again during the summer!

Kinara Clontarf is 100% dependable regarding both food and service. Staff is very knowledgeable and I always feel comfortable following their recommendations also regarding to how spicy the dishes are. This might sound basic but they genuinely serve the best naans and poppadoms here. Wine list is put together with consideration for taste as well as wallet. Even though the whole venue is classy and well maintained I’d always prefer to sit in spaces with good daylight. I think there is a room or two with mostly artificial lighting and comparing to other parts of the restaurant I’d say those are the least attractive tables to sit at. Might be worth mentioning while booking.

Delicious food but not cheap/cheerful. The staff are nice but more efficient than friendly and we had the feeling they wanted us to eat and leave. Also on a bitterly cold evening we were all barely warm enough only because we were all wearing layers ... some heating would have been nice. Having said that, would definitely go back. Chargrilled prawns are divine. A good spot for a special occasion.

I'm giving this place three stars because my partner liked it. The atmosphere was a bit dark for my taste. I had to wait very long for my food. My partner was almost finished when I got mine. The food was very spicy, I'm not sure if children would find something to eat here. I also think it was quite expensive.

(Translated by Google) Pakistan food of the highest level and a very suitable wine list. If you like spicy do not hesitate to go. It eats well and they serve you first! For me in the best area of Dublin. (Original) Comida Pakistán de altísimo nivel y una carta de vinos muy adecuada. Si te gusta el picante no dudes en ir. Se come bien y te atienden de primera!. Para mi en a mejor zona de Dublín.

Impatient to quickly take order. We were ready to order drinks and starters but needed to see the menu later to order mains. But everything had to be ordered at the same time. We usually share Indian food so would have preferred starters in serving bowls rather than served in individual plates. Starters and deserts were lovely but mains was just fine.

If you are looking for an amazing Pakistani &Eastern Cuisine Restaurant in Dublin, Ireland. I highly recommend Kinara located on the main Clontarf Road. It is not far from Vernon Avenue. Upon arriving just ring the door bell on the side of the restaurant. I was immediately made feel very welcome and got an amazing seat by the window. I was served water and given a menu once I was seated at my table. I ended up being ordering an Indian beer and had an amazing soup as an appetizer. The soup was absolutely amazing and was delicious. Upon finishing my appetizer I ordered a familiar Indian Curry that I had before at other Indian Restaurant’s. I ordered the murgh makhani Curry, rice and Nann Bread. Everything I ordered for my main course was just perfect. Lastly to finish off my night at Kinara I ordered an Cappuccino. The cappuccino was delicious and perfect. The customer service at Kinara was absolutely amazing and the staff were very professional. Everyone that worked at Kinara took so much pride in their Restaurant, Jobs and taking care of their customers. The restaurant was very clean and the restrooms were clean also. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland. I have traveled all over the world with the United States Marines. Also have traveled all over the United States. I certainly know a great Pakistani Middle Eastern Cuisine restaurant from all my travels. If you are looking for amazing Indian Cuisine look no further. You will definitely find it at Kinara located in Clontarf, Dublin, Ireland. Kinara rates five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ and more!!!! I definitely will be returning to Kinara upon my return to Ireland. You Definitely won’t be disappointed by this amazing restaurant. In closing Kinara was officially opened up by Brian O’ Driscoll November 29th 2001. Brian O’ Driscoll played for the Irish Ruby team and a long time Clontarf resident.

My favourite meal from Kinara isn't actually in the menu. I order it as 'vegetarian tikka masala' and oh how delicious it is! I had had it as take away on a couple of occasions during restrictions but when restaurants opened their doors, I dined here and, not surprisingly, got vegetarian tikka masala. But I was surprised of the intimate atmosphere of this restaurant, it's upscale vibe, the exceptional service of the waiters, the tasty red Malbec we got, the complimentary Pakistani starter (crisps with lovely sauces). Put it shortly, the vegetarian tikka masala is a culinary delight, and the restaurant itself offers an intimate and cosy environment.

The best subcontinent food in Dublin hands down. Consistently a superb experience. It has never let me down. Ask to sit upstairs it's even nicer. Friendly, efficient staff. The lobster & prawn fried rice are my personal faves. The chilli scallops are a superb starter.

  • 2/5 David L. 1 year ago on Google
Food was very tasty and enjoyable but atmosphere very badly ruined by a party of 5 with a noisy toddler at 10pm at night. The adults in the group kept walking through the restaurant while shouting back to the seated people in the party. What was most disappointing was the manager did not acknowledge this behavior even after complaints were made. The manager avoided dealing with the ongoing situation and did not apologize to us but rather avoided us instead. My wife had to follow up with a phone call later that night to express our disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant for a good night out as its quite expensive for the treatment you receive.

Absolutely loved the hospitality and ambiance. Food quality is good but it is derived for the Irish tastebuds. Its one of the best Halal fine dish I have experienced so far in Dublin. We had early bird offer which was quite economical considering the choices available. Best part is the well trained staff and quick service. Will definitely come back.
