I recently had the pleasure of dining at [Beyond India], an exquisite Indian restaurant that surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for a remarkable culinary journey. The ambiance of [Beyond India] is simply enchanting. The elegant decor, warm lighting, and tasteful Indian-inspired artwork create a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. The staff (Nittin) greeted me with genuine smiles and impeccable hospitality, making me feel like a valued guest from the start. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Every dish that graced my table was a masterpiece of flavors and presentation. The menu boasted an extensive selection of traditional Indian dishes, each prepared with the finest ingredients and a genuine passion for culinary excellence. To start my culinary adventure, I ordered the samosas as an appetizer. The delicate pastry was perfectly crispy, and the filling was a harmonious blend of aromatic spices and tender potatoes. It was a delightful teaser of the incredible feast that awaited me. For the main course, I chose the Non-Veg thali, Chicken Biryani and Masala Dosa. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing insightful recommendations and answering all my questions with patience and enthusiasm. They ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, attending to every detail with precision and grace. To conclude my memorable dining experience, I indulged in a serving of traditional Indian dessert, gulab jamun. The golden-brown dumplings soaked in a sweet syrup were the perfect ending to an extraordinary meal. Each bite was pure bliss, leaving me with a contented smile on my face. In addition to the incredible food and impeccable service, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for a five-star establishment. The value I received was truly outstanding, as I experienced the very best of Indian cuisine in an upscale setting without breaking the bank. Without a doubt, Beyond India deserves every bit of its five-star rating. From the moment you step inside to the last bite of dessert, the restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience. If you are seeking an extraordinary culinary adventure in the realm of Indian cuisine, look no further than Beyond India. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates exceptional food, impeccable service, and a truly luxurious dining experience.

Unfortunately, not a good experience. We have been customers for 18 years . A group of 6 ( 3 couples) .Mix up initially with our table, not a big deal. However it did take 40 minutes to have an order taken and receive our drinks. It was not busy at 6.30 on arrival. Our initial waitress was folding napkins rather than take an order. After asking 3 different wait staff our orders were taken. The food was underwhelming, the best part being the Naan bread. We had a banquet , very small serving dishes of food. By this time though we had an excellent waitress. The bill : split evenly between 3 couples. Each couple paid by card. The next day I received a call from a female from the restaurant telling me one of us had been undercharged and the balance needed to be paid. It’s a long story but basically the staff member entered the wrong amount for one couple. There was no apology from this person to say we’ve made a mistake , sorry to have to contact you etc. It was just “you need to pay us.” We were happy to pay the balance as we are honest and did not know until we checked with our bank after the first call that we had underpaid . However the manner in which we were treated ( talking rudely over my husband and not listening) has left us very disappointed .

The food quality and service, both were terrible. The waiters seemed to be in too much of rush. They didn't even turn on the heaters. Entree chicken pieces were undercooked. In mains for Chicken Biryani, what they served is in the picture for anyone to see. Looks and tastes terrible, worse than rice and vindaloo put together. Who on earth will call this CHICKEN BIRYANI ?? When complained to the manager, all he said was sorry and didn't even have the decency to take it off the bill as we didn't eat it at all. The management didnt even show any courtesy to fix the order. It was already too late for us so we just paid, packed food as takeaway and left. Definitely Never going back there. Before you question genuineness of the post, see the bill with date and time.

Very good dining experience, great options to choose from & delightful dishes. Great ambience & excellent service, will definitely return. Enjoyed a Chicken Tikka dish, followed with a milk based dessert, and mango ice-cream. Truly delightful and wish I discovered this place sooner!

Really really good Indian cuisine...authentic flavour blends you can really taste. The mushroom eggplant masala was the standout fir us. You know the food is good in a place serving traditional dishes when most of their customers are members of that community. Highly recommended for authentic Indian cuisine

By far, the BEST Indian restaurant in Adelaide. Beautiful, fresh and super delicious food at very reasonable prices. Excellent service by the staff. Food came out quickly. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Came here for dinner & it was delicious. The onion bhatji was a bit overcooked. The butter chicken was very tender & the sauce delicious The Garlic & cheese Naan was also delish & made the whole dish come together. The mango Lassi was also nice, refreshing and creamy. Could've been colder but just my opinion. Quite pricy for relatively small servings without rice but will likely be back at some stage in the future.

Enjoyed a small family get together at the restaurant. We made a reservation a day before. Table arrangements were great. Good ambience. Ordered a variety of dishes and they were served within a reasonable time. Food was good. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

Well priced, good service but the Goat Curry had more bones than meat, about 80% bone. The flavour was nice but not enough meat.

Don't be fooled by a franchise, it's good. If you want a warm curry on a cold day. If you just finished golf and are looking for a hearty and carby meal then you're in luck. They do charge $2.50 for extra sauce, pretty average deal but not the hill I would die on.

Had the worst experience today. Paneer methi malai used to be my favourite but came with a bowl of oil instead of gravy today. And the staff said it’s butter’’’like I am not aware of 😔 Went to have dinner on my husband’s birthday but they ruined it this time and let me down.

We ordered lemonade which was non alcoholic but we received alcohol one which was not good at all. The service was too slow and we too didn't receive some orders even saying them twice. And even making patience in front of customers the staff was arguing with each other. Not a good experience at all.

Coming from Melbourne I had to find a good place for a curry fix and Beyond India surpassed my expectations. The vindaloo was excellent with good heat and incredible flavours. The service was attentive and the food came out quite quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Indian cuisine. Will be back!

I’ve been coming to this fantastic restaurant with friends and family for years, they never fail to satisfy every time. The food is great, but above all the service and hospitality is the standout. It’s very hard to come across this level of customer service any where else! Highly recommend

It is very sad to rate this place so low even though we were regular customers for this place in 2004 - 2006! Even in our 2019 visit we received high level of service and quality food. But now in 2023 visit the food quality has completely diminished! We ordered three different curries and all had same tomatoes based gravy with no difference! Service was also sluggish! Dosa was only dish that tasted good! Don’t think will visit this place again!

We’ve been a long term customer and loved the experience always, referred many people but the customer service we experienced today (27-02 afternoon) was extremely disappointing. We reached at 2:35 and kindly asked if kitchen was still open, the lady confirmed and asked us to order quickly, we ordered quickly however after that there were several issues with the service (e.g, request for the fan to be turned off as it was cold, replacement of plate as it was dirty, etc), and to all of those the lady was extremely rude. Food was great as always but certainly would never ever come back again and never recommend anyone to visit.

We went there on the day of diwali, so I was expecting the rush. It took 30mins for our entree to arrive which came as another table’s order at first. Mains were very basic in taste, I would rather say did not have any taste. Disappointed with the quality of food. Staff was friendly

Had booked in for my mother's birthday for our family of 7 people. We called them beforehand for BYO spirit, they confirmed and said that we'll be charged $15 per bottle. Upon reaching the restaurant, they said that spirit is not allowed. We explained that we called beforehand and got the approval. They discussed and said that they'll charge $50 per bottle. We just left the resturant and went to another one.

Our dinner at Beyond restaurant was average, but the aftermath was a nightmare. The next day, everyone in our group experienced severe digestive issues. It's safe to say we won't be risking our stomachs with a return visit. Beware! 😣🚽

We called on a Monday night to make sure we could get a sitting because we hadn't booked in advance. The staff were very accommodating and welcomed us warmly when we arrived. Service is not rushed and we had ample time to peruse the extensive menu. We went with the mixed veggie pakora that came with a tamarind chutney and mint dip, which were so yummy there was no time to waste taking photos - we just had to taste them straightaway. Our mains were the vegetarian biryani and Madras curry barramundi. The curry's spice was mild and we would gave liked a bit more heat to eat. The biryani was beautiful - both visually and taste-wise. It was also very filling, more than enough for two people. We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious dishes.

Waiting time is too long. Had to wait for 1 hour only for 2simple dishes. They lack in services and staff. Outdoor staff is working inside kitchen. Place is amazing but they provide food first to those who came after us. Highly recommend to do some staffing so that people don't have to wait for so long and waste their time.

One of my all time favourite Indian restaurants. Excellent and outstanding customer service. Kitchen is kept away from the dining and excellent ventilation to keep the curry smell away. Vibe is very lively during it's busy hours. They provide a wide range of authentic Indian foods and vegan friendly (with many options to choose from). Price of mains can go between 17-25 bucks!

We were craving some masala dosa and samosas and found this to be the most convenient on a Tuesday night. We found the samosas to be quite plain, the pastry left a lot to be desired and the filling was quite pasty. The dosa started off nice and crispy, but again, the filling was off point and the dish as a whole was lacking the right balance of flavours. Unfortunately it seems like this place has forsaken flavour for a more western pallet. The Goan fish curry was quite salty but still overall a decent dish.

Was anything bad per say? No But was it great and memorable... Unfortunately no The food and service is indeed excellent and it does keep up its reputation but perhaps if the food could get more authentic with the same chilli level as it's supposed to be then perhaps it might bring in the twist needed for a 5. Do I recommend this place? Yup. Is the portion provided sufficient? Has it ever been? :) Is it respectable for the price? If it were 5% more then yes.
