This is an awesome water body, one can spend 2-3 hours seating here and observe the excellent environment. This jheel has been listed down as international visiting spot. This is really a very good place to visit.

It is located between Santragachi Railway Station and Ramrajatala Railway Station. Location is too good. Everything is perfect, but pollution is main problem here. Require maintenance regularly. A real view seen from Railway Over Bridge.

Now a days for the lack of taking care of this Jheel this area lost its taste. Water contamination is the main problem. But, Such a peaceful and relaxing place at the end of the day.The view is very beautiful from the Santragachi Flyover...... Still this is really a very good place to visit. Like it..

I have been coming here 3 or 4 times every year as I have relatives here .The jheel is really pleasurable. Now a days for the lack of taking care of this jheel number of foreign birds are much lower which I used to see in a huge number before .
