Situated opposite Victorial Memorial at the Maidan this Fountain with multi colour light display is a treat to enjoy in the evening and was gifted to the city by the CESC... It was reopened on 24th December 2018 in a new look... Now one can view musical fountain with light show... The gate opens around 5 in the evening...maybe it would change during summer season... However the fence outside this attraction is a free for all pee zone...😡😡...especially by the vendors outside and some of the visitors...

Musical fountain at esplanade beside the Victoria memorial in garer math is one of the finest tourist spots in kolkata. Local public specially the couples of kolkata come here to sit and chat..spend some time together during the evening there is cool breeze around. It is a cool place where many different coloured waters arise in this park.

This is casual water fall but garer math is soo good

A musical fountain show happens in the evening after 6 here. The show is similar to the citizens park or mohor kunja fountain show. One can sit peacefully and enjoy the jumping fountains on rabindra sangeet. One drawback of the place is there is no parking space anywhere near. There are food stalls in and around the area with excellent street food.

It's more attractive in evening.

The musical fountain is bang opposite victoria memorial ticket counter.. One cannot miss it. But the fountain can only be viewed from the footpath adjacent to the garden, as there is no entry. Also the view is poor as there are fencing and people walking on footpath. Some stalls on the footpath have kept chairs for people to sit.

It's located at one end of maidan near Victoria memorial hall. Horse carts are available nearby. The musical fountain starts at 6 p. m. There are some seats. The fountain alongwith music is very charming. The selection of music is nice. The show goes for half an hour and that is absolutely free of cost.

Place is good bt the didn't allow to view it from inside

Awesome experience to watch the show and that is also free of cost. Good indicative by Bengal govt. It starts at 6 and goes on almost for an hour.

The view is awesome here. One must visit this place early in the morning during the winters feels so soothing but then the view from here of the Victoria memorial hall is unparallel. The first sunshine on the Victoria and the view of the same from here just unmatched. I hope you guys find time and visit this place during the winters to experience something new.
