Such a spectacular location, a hidden gem on the bank of the River Ganga. This is not only a Samadhi Memorial of Rabindranath Tagore, but also a small park where you can sit & relax. Excellent spot for photography, as it offers a captivating view of Howrah Bridge. Situated adjacent to Nimtala Ghat.🙏🏻

It is not the place where the great Bengali poet and Nobel laureate, was buried. He was in fact cremated at Nimtola Ghat. This memorial came up later. The ambiance of the place by the river Hooghly is superb. Specially watching the sunset is heavenly. This memorial is very well maintained.

Visiting this place gives you a peaceful feelings in your mind. This place is well maintained & visitors can pay their homage to the legendary poet with a spiritual feeling. The authority should keep a careful vigil so that the holyness of this is not destroyed.

This is one place worth visiting to see and learn about the life of Rabindranath Tagore at his family home in Kolkata. There are many of his personal effects on display and three different galleries display paintings of the era by him and his illustrious brother Abanindranath Tagore besides some other painters too. Photography is not permitted inside the museum and art galleries but you can take pictures of the building from the outside.

Very nice place. Beside the Ganga, there is a sitting area. Good place to take photos. Beside Bhoothnath Temple, you can also see it. However, the current timing is 9am to 7pm. Shobhabazar station and ahiritola ferry are next to it, so you can come by launch or train from howrah ba sealdah or from Kolkata by bus or auto to ahiritola.

Very beautiful and we'll maintained park at riverside of Ganga! Nimtola crematorium is just beside this and the electric chulli can be seen from there and the smell of burning people is weird for stay there for long time and harmful as well. Otherwise it's a wonderful place beside Bhoothnath Temple. Open from 9am to 7pm.

Excellent place for the Samadhi of the great poet of Bengal Rabindranath Tagore. The graveyard is very nice looking and ideal to show respect to the legendary poet. Being just on the bank of river Ganges it has become a lovely park to sit there and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding. Kolkata Municipal Corporation has done a marvelous task not only by showing respect to the great poet but also made the spot exceptionally well by making it a park. Lovely atmosphere, nice ambiance and finally very good memorial park.

It is a very nicely decorated place. It can be called an opportunity to spend evening time with your family and friends. On its left side is the famous Howrah Bridge and the environment to enjoy the beauty of the Ganga river. Lighting is good, seating is clean. Next to Nimtala Maha Shashan. It is located near Shobha Bazar Ghat. It closes at seven o'clock in the evening.
