I love this metro station because I have a good experience traveling from here. The metro station is clean and tidy. There is a food stall available near the ticket counter where you can have momos. At last Just note one thing that you should not take pictures or videos in any of the metro stations. If you try to capture pictures or take videos, then you will be fined by the police. Be safe, Avoid rushing into the metro, Have a safe journey ?

Beautiful well maintained ambient . The auditorium was amazing with quality sound and great system. Various cultural events are held here. Food and beverage is not allowed inside the auditorium but one can sit out and enjoy a cup of coffee with the scenic beauty outside. One cannot do live streaming inside without permission and charges applicable of Rs10,000/- if you do live streaming. There is an issue of parking as well, one needs to give the vehicle number before hand for parking inside Nandan otherwise you can park beside the road which is chargeable. At one glance it's a good place.

This place is really amazing. Especially in the evening you will get main attraction here. Overall in the whole year many exhibition and programmes goes on here. There is no entry fee also. There is restaurant inside the area. Of you are visiting in winter or Decembar then this place is heaven. The WB govt. arrange a art fair and various programmes here which you can attend without any fees. Best place to visit and enjoy is winter. Also the Nandan is beside this.

A wonderful place for book lovers . Not only books but also all types of traditional singing events conducted here. A new movie theater created for movie lovers . Beside a that a huge walking and chit chat space for people here. Look like a language institute with vast collaboration of history, culture of Bengali events

If you are interested in experiencing true Bengali culture, then Rabindra Sadan is the place for you. On the face of it Rabindra Sadan is a theater hall named after Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel Prize winner poet but it is much more than that. Numerous cultural programs are staged in the hall that includes everything from classical music through Bengali rock and from theater to films. On the day of our visit a film festival of Legendary film maker Late Satyajit Roy was going on. If you are fortunate to have guest pass it would be fine or else you may buy tickets and experience the programs staged on any day. Many places of interests in Kolkata are nearby like Nandan, Academy of Fine Arts, Paschim Banga Academy, Gaganendra Art Gallery, Sisir Mancha, and Kolkata Information Center.

Marvellous Experience, the sound system and quality is very very fine, and the whole programme is extremely outstanding, and no words about management of the officials. For the kind information, there is no food allowed inside this Hall. You can come here via Rabindra Sadan Metro Station. This is highly recommended. And last but not the least I will recommend this place for programmes like Rabindra Jayanti, and related to Rabindranath Tagore.

It’s walkable from Rabindra Sadan Metro Station. Remember: 1) There is a confusion with the cabs, the lanes on either sides are one way ones. Call after booking the cab from where he will be picking you up. 2) It’s a good place if you’re into culture, something or the other is always happening there. 3) Cold water is available. 4) Lots of eateries with tea/coffee vendors. That’s a must in any Kolkata place. 5) Entry is free. 6) A lot of places to sit down to relax those tiring feet. Have fun. Smile. Let that Bengali culture sink in.

The only cost is if one decided to watch a play at Rabindra Sadan Or Academy of Fine arts or a Bengali movie for that matter at Nandan, or if you want to buy something to eat. The ambience, surrounding and atmosphere is amazing. The Rabindra Sadan Hall, Academy of Fine Arts and Nandan are all fully air-conditioned.
