Even though this temple is small in terms of size, but it's popularity is equivalent to that of the revered Dakshineswar & Kalighat Temples. Please keep in mind that this temple is situated in an extremely crowded & noisy area, near College Street. The temple is very old,but had been renovated many times.There are idols of mother Kali and lord Shiva inside the temple.There is tap for hand washing . Outside the temple, there are shops for puja materials like flowers, candle sticks, incense sticks etc.Overall, my temple experience is good.
