I did my First internship at India tourism kolkata, the staff of the office are very helpful and also provided me with information about different tourist destination in India and as well as Abroad. India tourism kolkata has taught me to learn how to make an itinerary and tour package preparation.

They don't know much about cultural events in Kolkata but at least they are friendly and try to help you. For that, it is better to come here than to the specialized tourist office "west bengal" near BBD Badh.

Madam at Front desk was very helpful. Only the common entrance should be more accessible and overflowing AC water needs some attention

India Tourism (Ministry Of Tourism, Govt .of India). It's the head office of Eastern Region. You will get Hotels, Home Stays, Travel houses contact details from here. The TIO's (Tourist Information Officer) like Moutusi Naskar is very helpful to the traveller. It's a central government department. You just get the information regarding the destination,hotels and Tourism department authorized Travel agencies but you can't book anything from here. The department is only for providing information.
