This is a temple we have grown up with.Our first visit to this temple was in 1966 when we came to Kolkata on a transfer.Before exams we would be brought here and archana would be done to Rama and Hanuman facing Rama Seetha and Lakshmana.Hanuman was our friend and we would beg for an easy paper and vada malai would be offered to Anjaneya once we passed.The Seeta Kalyanam here was like our family wedding and we would go with Rama as He made the rounds of the streets stopping by to accept offerings infront of houses sprinkled with cold water and decorated with big kolams.The mappilai azhappu of all 4 sisters took place here. Our father was part of the Divyaprabhanda group and we looked forward to the lovely prasadams.In later years Srinivasa Perumal and Alarmelumangai Thayar prathistai took place.Whenever on a visit to Kolkata we go here and find peace looking at the clean temple and the sincere priests and the good management.Adivan srisathakopan can be seen along with Bhaghavad Ramanuja and Swami Desikan.

Excellent Old Temple in a Prominent Location at Lake Gardens, very easy to reach ( Landmark nearer are South City Mall, Lord's Crossing on Anwar Shah Road ). The Ambience, Puja, Prasad, Priests, Cleanliness etc Attracts All Visitors Again & Again. Anyone would feel extremely Comfortable after reaching there.

Nice quiet place in the lanes of Lake Gardens. Neat and clean. Down to earth people who manage the premises. I came here for shani puja and everything was so well organized I was pleasantly surprised. If you can't speak south indian language then you might face a little difficulty otherwise everything is just too good here. There is enough place on the outside to park your vehicle. The entire premise is covered by CCTV

I didn't know that we have such an elegant temple in Kolkata. This temple is based and follows South traditions and is open twice a day and only for 2 hours each time: Morning 8 AM - 10 AM Evening 6 PM - 8 PM You can worship God Ram, Laxman and goddess Sita. Goddess Mahalakshmi and God Venkateswara idols are also here. I went to this temple on Ram Navami.

The temple is very good & deities also have powers . The challenge is their manager who always asks for money . his behaviour is also rude to devotees . Those who pay handsome amount to him are welcomed

A very well maintained temple, clean and calm surroundings. Darshan of Lord Ram with Lakshman, Seetha and Hanuman is the most spiritual experience. A must visit during Brahmostavam, a week long festival conducted during Ram Navami.
