It's a small chapel for St Anthony . Every Tuesday special masses are held in decitation to St Anthony. Breads are also distributed on that day to the poor and needy. It's famous for its miraculous works . A must go to if you a devout catholic.

Welcome to House of the Lord, here at St. Anthony's Shrine you will always find the peace and blessings you were looking for and prayer petitions are never left unanswered. Masses are celebrated very nicely here. Especially on tuesday evening masses the chapel is always full and from all over Kolkata follwers of Jesus Christ Our Lord arrives here to offer bread on the alter, which is then blessed after mass and distributed among the people and the poor. Praise The Lord!

Popular destination for Catholic and non catholic devotees of St.Antony of Padua.Bread is offered in thanksgiving for favours recieved from this beloved and popular Saint.Tuesday are days of special devotion.The chapel closes everyday at 12 noon.But on tuesday it is open all day till evening mass is celebrated.

It's a Very calm and peaceful chapel and i have been going since childhood.. All those who want to pray and I'm sure well all want to talk to our Lord in our own ways.. Come and sit and you will automatically feel the peacefulness. It's open from morning 6 to 7:30 and evening 5 to 7

I used to visit the Church with my Mother every Tuesday. Then I would visit the Church with my friends after work. I remember going with my friend Brenda Quigley in the pouring rain and our umbrella inside out. We went to Church like wet crows. I also know that Kumar Mitra always visits the Church bc I apparently took him there. I loved praying in front of the Statue. I honestly feel and felt that my prayers were heard. When ever I was faced with bad situations, I prayed to St. Anthony and Our Lady of Valankani. I'm proud to be born and raised as a Catholic. I owe it to my Mother, nana, Godmother and the Loretto nuns. The best and fortunate gift I received is being a "Proud Catholic."
