Mitra Cafe is all time famous for it’s Fish Kabiraji ... even though fish cutlet is also good here. I like the fish kabiraji with elachi tea from here. Here in Diamon Plaza Mitra Cafe the size of Kabiraji is little less than the actual Mitra Cafe but yes their style of making Kabiraji is really unique and tasty.

Mitra cafe has never disappointed me both in terms of food and it's staff behavior. The impressive taste of "fish fry"and the "fish kobiraji" has left me speechless and evey bite of their food is like a fantasy which is totally worth it.

I am trying Mitra Cafe Kabiraji after so many years. Last time I tried it was in Sovabazar. It's so tasy. The fish was crispy and tasted delicious. I am in love with the item. Even packed one for my home.

This is located in Diamond Plaza mall near Nagerbazar. The brand of Mitra Cafe has a long history, with its origins in old Kolkata, however, this is branch is in the foodcourt of a swanky mall. The food quality is good and you will get all the Kolkata delicacies like chop, cutlet, kabiraji here

The one that I visited was in Diamond Plaza. They did not have brain chop! I don't know what they are doing as a branch of Mitra Cafe if they are not selling Brain Chop! But I gave them a reason and bought a Diamond Fish Fry which by the way, was pretty good and also took good money! Go to the original one!

I've had from Mitra cafe here. They serve hot and tasty and fresh foods ofcourse! The picture here is of Fish Diamond Fry and Fish Diamond Kabiraji..with Salad and Kasundi. The packaging was superb even the kasundi didn't spill out! I spent total of 529/- including tax and other charges as I took delivery! The salad was so fresh also! The quality and the price is absolutely fine! Loved it!

One of the worst quality and quantity I ever experienced. Very very poor quality. I am really surprised to see how they received a 4.3 rating. I have ordered 2 plates of fried rice and 1 plate of chilli chicken. I hated it.

Very good atmosphere & location. it is in Diamond plaza Behaviour and catering of the staffs were undoubtedly appreciable. Suitable for all. Quality of food is really delicious and most importantly at reasonable price. Highly recommended to all. But you might have to split yourselves into two tables if planning to go in a group of 7-8 or more people. No sitting arrangement available for large groups in a single table .. Thinking soon to revisit Mitra Cafe.

Food was fantastic and tasty. Price is also standard. The common dining area remains crowded most of the time. So we may need to wait for sometime to get a table. Too much crowd somewhat disturb the ambience.

It's a diamond fry. As you can see the bill is given also. No doubt the foods are quite expensive but worth it. You can find sufficient fish stuffed inside the fry and tastes good πŸ‘. If you can afford I will suggest to go for it. There is also another outlet of them just beside them where you can have all types of food (Chinese/Indian). But 1st I would recommend you to find seats for yourself ASAP because the food court has many shops and they share the sitting area as a common space for all the food stalls. Otherwise the place is good for all types of people.

Tried Vetki tandoori and Fish Diamond fry for first time. Quality was good and in affordable price. Staffs are polite. It's very tasty.

everything was nice except the mutton as the gave a thick coat of cornflower on the mutton so the portion of the mutton was extremely less .But to be honest the gravy was awesome and also the price was a bit high with respect to the quantity .

Mitra cafe is a very good restaurant for fish items and I have experienced it many times but today from the diamond plaza outlet they suggested me fish monohara and I bought one. The fish was not fresh and it has some smell. Though I have bought fish fingers also that was good.

They have variety of options in food. Expected just the old Mitra Cafe menu, while it shocked me with a whole new range of dishes to go for. Same satisfaction, different dishes.

Not really impressed. I placed my online order through Zomato for Lacha Paratha with Chicken/Mutton curry, curry chicken and the Fish Kabiraj. First off, given the price, the portions are hideously small. There was barely any crispy chicken for even 2 orders! Likewise, there was barely any meat in the chicken/mutton kasha. I can get way more portions for cheaper at Taaj restaurant, Nager Bazaar. Regarding taste, the meat in the kasha was tasteless, hard and reeking of oil without the flavor. The crispy chicken was very bland as well. The kabiraji was somewhat decent but only if you have it fresh. Again, compared against the overall price(it went above Rs.1700 total), the portions and quality were both a letdown. I am not anymore buying from this chain.

We came here at 11am. Moghlai was not available. We took lachcha paratha and chicken kasa. The chicken was stale and was sour. The staff were in their room and did not attend first. We complained the authority the staff came and took the order. We recommend avoiding this shop at Diamond plaza food court.
