There's also a lake for the migratory birds. But, more birds must be displayed at the zoo which will be more enthusiasing to view. The collection of various birds has over the time got boring and it needs some new. Also the migratory birds can't always be seen as they migrate and come only during some specific seasons or periods during the year. Moreover it's a good dedicated bird cage to watch on. A really spectacular view with a large cage filled with different varieties and species of birds. A must watch for bird enthusiasts. It contains a large lake in between the cage. I kind of get the Jurassic world cage vibes (where the flying dinosaurs were caged) when I go there. Overall a lovely experience.

It is the best place we can visit with our family especially children. We can see animals from different parts of India. Royal Bengal Tiger is the biggest attraction of this zoo. Recently white lapord have been brought. All types of hawker shop at every corner and a mini restaurant is also there in the zoo. A cheap and entertaining place .

Zoological Garden of India, Alipur, Kolkata is a great place for a day out. It is also a good place for children to learn and watch the animals which they learn in books. It is nice place for friends, family or for a picnic. You can bring food from your home also there are some stalls, where you can have foods. But the price is quite high.
