The tiger reach counter is in Jharkhali..almost at the end of Sunderbans. It is located just beside the ferry ghat. If you are going in a car you have to pay a local parking fee of RS 50. The entry to the rescue centre is RS 50per head . The rescue centre closes at 4pm There is a small day walk in the center and a forest road surrounding the rescue center You would ideally spend a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes there. You can easily spot a tiger in captivity There are around 11 Gators ..you can easily spot one around the most . It is full of trees and there are a lot of monkeys . For Senior citizens it can be tiring hence advised to go in the evening around 3 if the sum is not too much . You can spot a few birds too if you are lucky There is a 3 storied watch tower from which to it can get a good view of the region . It is not well maintained. Though there is a board which says it has been inaugurated by Mamta Banerjee. Government can add in a few more interactivities to make it more tourist friendly . There is a small slide for kids in the form of an elephant structure .

I reached this place from kaikhali paryatak abash by vessel. The mangrove nursery is quiet appreciable. one can experience the low and high tide scenario. Tigers rescued in ill health are treated here. This is good place for a outing. A huge tourist complex is coming up beside this facility. I strongly believe that such construction and tourist activity will have an ill effect on the eco system of the area.

This tiger rescue centre is built on the bank of a tributary river of Matla (many also refer to it as Herobhanga river) which connects Matla with Bidyadhari river. Surrounded by mangrove forests, this tiger rescue centre is home to two Royal Bengal Tigers, a few deer and crocodiles. There is also a watch tower, a children's' park as well as a butterfly garden inside this tiger rescue centre. Entry fee Rs.30. Plastic and outside food is strictly not allowed inside the tiger rescue centre. Even if you don't get to see a tiger while visiting the Sundarbans, you will get a glimpse of a tiger here! But remember not to disturb the wild animals by making noise or throwing stones.

This Tiger Rehabilitation Centre in Jharkhali is used for treatment of wounded and diseased Royal Bengal Tigers from the forests of The Sundarbans... The tourists are allowed to get a glimpse of the majestic tigers outside the Iron Barricade of the Rehabilitation center.... In addition to this , this place also boasts of a Butterfly park and the place is also the habitat of numerous monkeys 🐯🦋🐒

Best place to watch the Royal Bengal Tiger🐯🐅 in their royal habitats 😍😍💖💖👌. Here they are kept for treatment after rescuing. (1) What a size and their royal movements/walk & roaring😍💖💖😀👌👌👍. If you want to hear real tiger call come here. Because in Alipore Zoo you never see that! (2) We went to-Canning Railway Station, then took van Rs:30 each person to Jharkhali Bazar. Then took autorickshaw Rs:10/- each person to the Tiger Rescue Centre!👍😍👌 you can go in local buses also or can reserve a car. (3) Must have Breakfast- in "Adi Purakait Sweets" inside the market opposite the Stadium ok. Famous is (টক্ দ‌ই+বো৺দে). Must try friends it is lovely 🥰👌. (4) Ferry Ghat Market stalls they sell good quality Honey/মধু in 2different types price is Rs:100-120 in plastic bottles of 1Kgs/2Kgs.💖😍🥰👌 (5) You can see "King Coconut" here wich are only available in 'Andaman Islands' 👌😍 (6) You can take a boat ride inside the Sundarbans Jungle. (7) And can enjoy the real thrills of the jungle where crocodiles 🐊are here and there. Be ALERT! Don't hang your limbs on the water or seat on the edge of the boat ok. (8) Huge size Bees 🐝are flying. Lovely colourful Butterflies 🦋are flying. (9) And the different sounds of insects🦜🐦🦚🦗🦟🐞 in the jungle is just awesome 👌👌👌.Fee/Charge is reasonable and worth it! (See my pictures, details are there)

It's a good place to visit. I was visited with our friends. our experience is good but in my opinion the tickets are expensive compared to the infrastructure. We see here crocodile, tiger, deers.

Tigers are not visible properly. When government is earning from peoples then they have to improve the facilities that can help to visualise the tiger clearly.

A very beautiful place, a perfect place to see the scenery of nature. Anyone can go there to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Since its a rescue centre, you'll get to see some injured animals or the ones that were being rescued by the forest department from the Sunderban forests. Right now, there are 2 sick Royal Bengal Tigers kept safely behind the bars along with a few crocodiles. The area is a bit crowded and entry fee is required. You'll find children park too.
