This is an addictive hobby, no doubt about that. Expert retailers are always in the scope of exploiting beginner aquarists. It's was really nice meeting someone with straight forward attitude. This place is quite a distance from my home, but i took the pain of visiting him and the store and surely it was not disappointing. You know when you are talking to an experienced aquarist. The food and fish quality is pretty genuine and fairly priced as well. Do visit his store, because this hobby is all about gaining more information from the right source !

I am so glad that I came across La Aquaria. I was struggling to get hold of someone who is genuinely a hobbyist when it comes the world of aqua space. I had been cheated in the past, so this time I wanted someone who isn’t all about commercialisation. Thats when I came across La Aquaria, it was suggested to me by my neighbour. The first thing I noticed about La Aquaria was the sheer attachment of the owner towards his fishes. He just did not want to sell, but he wanted to first educate me. I got a full marine tank set up from here, its been 6 months now and the experience till now has been enriching. The after sales service has also been commendable, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for A-Z solution.

The best place in Saltlake and Newtown area belt to find good quality supplies for your fishes period. Owner is very co-operative and helps all newbies like me in fish keeping hobby to choose the right supplies. Only place in this part of Kolkata where you can find real good fish food, medicines, filteration media and water treatment and conditioners. My own experience visiting this place was AWESOME. I got the items which I was exactly looking for like Tetra bits complete fish food, seachem products like prime, pristine, safe and seachem’s best filteration media layer purigen. Most of the products he kept are imported ones (made in Germany, Japan and USA). The best part is owner will not force you to buy stuffs which are unnecessary for your setup. He even suggests not to buy stuffs to help people understand at the cost of loosing opportunity to sell that item as businesses. I feel myself to be really lucky to find this place as I love my fishes, and they deserve right food and environment. So to conclude, IF YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR FISHES AND WANT THE BEST FOR THEM, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE YOU HAVE TO VISIT.

An aquarium bussiness ran from the private resident of the owner. The place is a little bit hard to find as there is no big visible signboard. However the owner was very freindly and helpful. They have all types of fishes and aquarium accessories. I had a very good times there.

The owner himself is an encyclopedia on fishes and has some serious knowledge about fishes and planted and marine aquariums. He ensures that you understand how to build you aquariums and maintain it. I had visited this place the other day to buy some fishes for my aquarium. I thought am an avid enthusiast about it, till I got to know the owner of this place. He is an encyclopaedia in itself when it comes to fishes!! I had originally thought not to purchase anything but to check what is on offer but getting to know his knowledge and committment, I ended up buying a whole new set of aquarium for my office. This place does not look fancy but it is one of the best shops I have ever gone to buy fish. The owner of the shop has deep knowledge of fishes and how to take care of them.He says he has been taking care of fishes since the age of five.He is very knowledgeable and kind. He conducts classes for training novice candidates who want to pursue this hobby. So if you are novice this is the best shop for you to go.

It's a home grown aquarium business with a huge collection of fishes and aquarium accessories. A nice visit for hobbyist who loves plants and fishes to decorate homes.

The shop is not only good, it's very good, behaviour of the shop owner is very much polite. Before you visit, must call to the shop owner, because in front of the house there is not present any kind of Glow Shine Board. Prise of all products are Cheap than only store as well as Shyambazar Hat.

In this lockdown situation suddenly my aquarium pump has stopped working and my fishes are about to die, I called the person who setup my aquarium but the amount he was asking to come and repair the pump is 10times higher than regular charge, in this situation I found LA AQUARIA as a blessings for my fishes. Though I was not a regular customer of LA AQUARA but he helped me in every possible way and finaly my fishes are alive and the charges which was asked by this person was at par market rate. I bought some fish product from him those are very genuine and reasonable price. From now onwards except LA AQUARIA I won't go to any other shop to buy fish or fish products.

They don't have much ready stock for aquariums. They do not qualify much as a retailer, but more of a service centre for your aquarium. For the first timer not sure if this the correct place. But the person definitely is knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend if you already own an aquarium and looking for additional stuffs.

Atleast got a person who sells quarintined fishes , prices are a bit on the higher side , but for the quality of fish the guy gave me is upto the mark , also you would premium foods, additives , accesories , etc Overall it was a nice experience.

I bought a heater just 2 weeks ago. But after 2 days usages it damaged. I have only little goldfish in my aquarium so there is no chance of fishes hit that heater.
