Buffet with nice ambiance and view! I’ve visited this place for Lunch as part of a group and really loved the city view from two sides! hits: very good chat/snacks counter with wide range of options salad counter is also really nice - many options of your choice what I really liked is the wide options for vegetarians. they won’t miss out anything while eating out! the day we visited - there was an Andhra style fish preparation & i liked it very much misses: in extreme summer, I was expecting some chilled/cooled dessert items - only one or the items were chilled chairs/sitting: I’ve found chairs/sitting to be quite annoying in most of the restaurants (especially buffet ones) - but here it’s really comfortable. you won’t feel too filled or irritated or feel like to stand up after some amount of food. I appreciate this very much! Staffs are courteous and amazing to take care of you/elderly members. Overall, very nice experience. value for money - I’m satisfied with ‘what we paid vs what we got’

Went to stay here when I went for an Infectious Disease conference. Stay was pleasant, nice rooms and bathroom. Walls are thin, so I could hear the sound from the next room. They have a small fridge and safe in the room. No nuts or refreshments are provided. The breakfast buffet is really good with nice spread of all breakfast items. I liked the fruits and veggies and guava juice. Check in and check out was fast and hassle free too.

Booked a day use room for 2499/-. Had swimming pool facility. Enjoyed the day very much. Didn't order food from their restaurant as I felt it was very expensive which is considerable as it's a 4 star hotel. Although I was dissapointed with service where we had to wait a long time for them to check us in. Rooms can be used for 6hours only and can check in anytime in the day beginning from 9am Had parking facility too for both two wheeler and four wheelers. There's gym and a bar as well.

Awesome experience It's a budget five star hotel in Kolkata. It's a suitable place for business executives or people who come for conventions and conferences etc. Here rooms are not too big but have all kinds of basic and necessary amenities. You will find pictures of Kolkata which adds to the attraction. It hosts a lovely terrace bar with live music and a swimming pool. The breakfast spread is not very impressive. They offer you only selected items which every hotel gives. Staff is courteous and helpful but a little unprofessional as per my experience. By and large a good place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Kolkata.

I would rather give them minus... they food is tasteless... they have high attitude. I booked one durga puja buffet and paid them in advance but somehow I had to cancel due to some family issues. But they didn't refund my money. There one person in the account called Mr. Manojit Ghosh. He is horrible person threatening me that they have some policy, then bank is closed in online transfer, then it needs to refund through so called app, called to your relationship manager all this rubbish. This person is not suitable to be in hospitality industry. Be aware they have money income policy. No policy for refund, or service or good food. They even brought those 5 star rating. Most of rating are paid. Horrible place this Newtown Fairfield Marriott Hotel. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN....

Fantastic place to stay at. The location is very, very good. Check in and check out were smooth. Prices are competitive. The breakfast buffet was lavish as well. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Service is great and we had zero issues here. An absolute must stay place if planning to stay in Newtown, Kolkata.

Be Aware!!! They will bounce your bookings in the last minute. They just don't mind telling you that they don't have rooms when you are right at their lobby even when you have confirmation in your hands. So unprofessional Lack of ethics Lack of Co ordination with in their internal departments and due to which guests suffer and even they suffer their clients they are least bothered. Very in experienced un professional people sitting in higher positions Please avoid this Hotel. There are far better hotels in this location. Three star Hotels are far better than this hotel. If you are booking this hotel then be prepared to have last minute shocks no surprise if they do that to anybody. Better avoid booking this hotel even you are getting a better deal. Actually over priced....also..... Please don't go by it's brand. Pathetic....

A memorable stay with Marriott! This is the first time with Marriott (we try all big shot properties), and the service was super super great. Starting from reception to hotel, everything was perfect! The managers and waiters at restaurant made sure they reach out to you for feedback twice or thrice during every meal. They all have a sense of ownership and they would not hesitate to clear your plates proactively irrespective of the level they're in. They'll have a sweet conversation with you every time. They'll ask where you're headed to, what would you like to have in food, any feedback on rooms etc etc. The best thing is they take the feedback proactively and positively like a pro. Do visit Vertex and try the Crafted beers.

This is absolutely great place for staycation and business meets. Loved this place. They have a nice buffet system still they allow you to order food from outside. Complete privilege given to customers. 1. Quick and good housekeeping. 2. Well decorated. 3. Polite and always supportive attitude. 4. Nice city view. 5. Many privileges.

Went on Monday lunch buffet. Limited but perfect menu for moderate eaters. Starters (2 veg 2 non veg)were served on table which were very good. Main course was modest but well prepared. Very nicely decorated with wonderful view of new Town from top. What we appreciated most was the service. Remarkable. This is glaringly missing in the similar standard hotel in the vicinity.

This is a beautiful hotel with a gym which is all new. The swimming pool is great too. I think the best thing is the service rendered, great staff. And the least is the rooms for some reason one had a weird smell..we changed to another which was much better but slightly present. The breakfast is everything you could wish for, mostly veg options. The location is a bit far from the city but not that much

I went for a marriage party. The banquet was small but very good. Their service was excellent. The location is very convenient. Today we had the vegetarian platter. Usually hotel foods are not very tasty. But here it was exceptional. It was tasty.

Attending a wedding function in the banquet hall of Fairfield by Marriott, Monarch. After we reached the location following Google maps (which was accurate) it was a hassle finding the correct gate to enter, as the gate numbers are not mentioned anywhere. It was harrassing as that road is narrow with two way traffic and cars parked. The high tea was stopped serving even though there were guests standing with their plates in front of the counter, highly disrespectful. The main course was the biggest disappointment, pasta was saltless flavour less, Mongolian did not taste like Mongolian, it was so dry and boring, rest of the food below average. Would not suggest this place to my family and friends for any kind of celebration.

It's an upmarket stylish and luxury hotel I have attended the corporate event I liked the food very much it's very tasty location is good in Newtown convenient for catching up flight and no need to enter busy Kolkata city

On the most beautiful hotels I have come across the staff starting from The Fo the manager is soo helpful like a homely atmosphere special thanks to Debalina Fo Manager' who ensured the stay was outstanding as always . I went there on ashtami with my friends...it was a dandiya night..they have lagre halls..food was so so costly which I didn't like..500 ml cold drink costed 200rs..they charged almost 1200 for adult and 600 for kid..yet we had to buy or rent sticks..dj was boring as well. Even they charged for water.

Nice property with an excellent view, room size is adequate and packed with all the required amenities. Front office staff are acting smart in terms of providing rooms on time. They need to be well mannered.

Worst service in all terms. Dhaba services are much better. Please do no expect 4 or 5 star treatment. Quantity is very less. Poor quality of food. Managers and employees are not taking ownership and are very casual. Not at all a marriott experience. It’s more like first copy marriott.

Nice stay made even better by very helpful staff, especially the manager Prachi who went out of her way. Breakfast spread was lavish. And a rooftop pool to do laps after a long day Cons: Soundproofing could be better, could hear snoring from another room :)

Great ambiance, along with helpful staff. Breakfasts are really worth it as they had almost everything to offer and also buffet in the dinner. As a north Indian specifically from Lucknow, My taste buds were somewhere not satisfied but overall I had a very good experience. Little bit far from city centre but great location if someone has to go to airport.

Manager satisfactorily resolved some annoying issues that initially arose. The rooms and views are very nice. Bed comfy and lovely linens. Security /safety is excellent. Great breakfast buffet offerings. If you are sensitive noise, note there is a nightclub on the premises that goes past midnight.

We had a great experience staying here, staff was very polite and helpful. They extended our checkout time for 3 course considering my flight timing. This was very sweet of them.

Could have been better. It was far too costly for the services offered. The staff was polite and helpful but forgetful. They never brought us the anniversary cake we requested for. maybe it was because the hotel was getting full when we entered. The sheets were torn in places and didn't look very clean. Also every time I came back from the swimming pool, I had rashes in the exposed skin that would go away after a bath and scrub. The alcohol service was however good and the bar was decent.

Had the worst experience ever. By booking earlier, you'd think that your room would be reserved, right? Wrong! They overbook their rooms and make you wait for over 1 hour for rooms. Also, if you ask for a timeline, as to wait for how long, they don't even have any answer. Absolutely chaos, worst management. It's definitely not worth the price you're paying. Go for other options you'll find in this price range. They offer a much better and quicker service.

We went for having breakfast and trust me the spread is awesome. There is a variety of food and drinks available along with a live kitchen. The ambiance and service are as expected good. A must-try place to enjoy good food and quality time.

The stay was very comfortable and the security at the hotel is very good. The food is just delicious. The staffs were very courteous and helpful. This property is located just beside Bishwa Bangla Gate and eco park is just 2.3 kms away.

The receptionist's behavior was really rude. He kept us waiting for such a long time in the lobby to hand over the key that almost killed the checkout time. Rooms were not ready because of their misunderstanding. Unexpected experience from the Fairfield Team, Kolkata. Please do improve the behavior of your staff and teach them how to behave with their customer.

The Breakfast is what I can guarantee you is one the best available in town. The staffs are so good and always keen to help. The swimming pool and the sky restro is awesome in the evening and night.

We had a two nights excellent stay at Fairfield by Marriott, Kolkata. Since the moment we stepped in we felt the warmth of Marriott hospitality. We were upgraded to front view room and the view from the room was great indeed. Room was spacious, clean, hyeginic and well equipped. The location is also perfect if you have business in New Town. Room service was quick and offered delicious food.zoverall a very happy stay.

We stayed at Fairfield Inn for 5 days in January. There are 2 issues with this hotel- 1) they don't have an extra rolling bed at this hotel. They only put a mattress on the floor for the 3rd bed. Where does a 4 star hotel expect a guest to sleep on the floor in today's world???? 2) We had a brand new German hand made cutting knife that was a gift in its original casing. The security at the hotel said we can't take it with us and took it and have us a receipt for it. They said we can retrieve it at check out. The interesting thing is we stayed at 5 other hotels in our trip and not one hotel asked us to do this. But the biggest mismanagement came when they said they don't have the knife at all despite us providing the receipt. Someone decided to steal our knife and now they say they don't even have it.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, and service of their staff. When I entered the hotel was quite tired(coming out from face) and person at reception asked me, if you want a main city view room then we can give so you can relax and rejoice the place. Believe me it was awesome.

One of best experience in Marriott. Staff is very courteous and service was very prompt. Entire staff from Manager to security was very friendly and polite. Food is really good. Every time the chef and resturant manager took extra efforts to check with us on feedback or any specific requirement.

Organised a party completely remotely without seeing their venue or meeting any of their team. The lead up to the event and the final day of the event were all great. No major problems were faced. The property is excellent, well maintained, the team is helpful and supportive. Food was good, menu options were vast but felt it could have had more Bengali dishes. The space we rented was more than adequate. Keeping the rating at 4 only to keep the team hungry for excellence. They can easily be rated 5 out of 5.

Amazing Hotel. Staffs are very caring and courteous. If someone is travelling with a physically handicapped person, their handicap friendly rooms with roll in showers are worth it. The food is mind blowing and quantity of the food they give is totally value for money. On a personal note, the fish and chips here is one of the best I've ever had!

Best place to chill and hangout. My partner arranged lunch date, the food was too good and I loved all the items. The staff was so helpful and interactive. We had a small tour by ourselves and roamed all our clicked pictures. Friendly and lovely environment.
