For my birthday, I went there for the Queen Charlotte afternoon tea and it was magical. The ambiance was elegant, a classic decor. The tea selection was nice and simple. The tiered serving platter was a visual treat with delicious sandwiches, warm scones, and exquisite desserts. The attention to detail was outstanding. The service was impeccable. The staffs were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring a memorable visit.

Well all I can say is that this is one of the most illustrious hotels in the whole of London! Each room comes with Butler service. The first room we had was basically a Nanny's room. Am was glad it was too hot at the time, so we got moved to another room which was unfortunately as it had no ceilings space and the room that we wanted that to had to be in the Regency style. So we were delighted when we were given another room that overlooked Hyde Park Corner with high ceilings and even a couch. The staff are around here, are very discreet. My friend heard one of the staff call another guess your Royal Highness! He tried to find out who that was and they said that they were not at Liberty to say. All the windows in this building are bullet-proof with good reason and all the pictures the are not attached to a television or originals. Technology wise, this place has all the mod com, I mean you can actually watch TV in the bathroom. The spa is brilliant, all the staff in the building know exactly who you are! And if you a regular at this establishment then they will make sure that all your request that you've asked for before will be in place so you don't need to ask again. So if I had the ability to come to this place regularly, I would!

The afternoon tea was a stunner! The turkey sandwich was delicious, the scones and cakes were all as good as they looked, the Queen Charlotte tea blend was my personal favorite. It doesn't look like you think you will be full up , you will be! It is not cheap no, is it an experience, yes! Topped off with a live pianist playing while you eat, especially for Christmas it makes it feel very special.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here for the Bridgerton afternoon tea. Beautiful hotel, with staff delivering flawless service. The afternoon tea room was decorated in hues of blue with tables spaced out just the right amount, which is something not all places get right. The resulting tranquility was perfect. The items served in the afternoon tea were all thoughtfully linked to the show + our server was happy to explain the detail behind them. Unlimited sandwiches were a bonus!

Came for a lovely afternoon tea for my anniversary. The service was excellent as were the sandwiches. The cakes were beautiful but weren’t to my taste. It’s a very lovely hotel and you will enjoy the afternoon tea in spectacular surroundings.

What a stunning hotel and building. We were only here for dinner but what lovely experience. Daniel and Thomas, in the Grill were so attentive and we were celebrating my birthday and they gave me a card which was very thoughtful. We have a delicious meal and the cheese board was to die for such an array of cheeses to choose from. I have lovely glass of port to accompany my cheese which paired beautifully. If we ever have the opportunity to stay I'd be very happy and I wouldn't hesitate to eat at the Grill again either.

My husband and I attended Lanesborough afternoon tea for our Anniversary celebration. From entering the hotel, the welcoming porters, helpful receptionist until we got seated, everyone we came across had a smile was welcoming and pleasant. The location is intimate with a lovely atrium. "Andrea" who was our host was very professional, polite and knowledgable with great recommendations. The food was delicious with a diverse selection of sandwiches, each had a unique lovely taste. The scones were warm, fresh and very light served with clotted cream and delicious preserves. Dessert selection was unique, had delicate taste and look which was very much aligned with Queen Charlotte theme. There was a live pianist which was a lovely touch. The tea selection was flavoursome, piping hot with the tea server prompt. We were pleasantly surprised by the hand written Anniversary card and a complimentary pastry. Finally at the end of our wonderful afternoon tea Andrea handed us the a packet of seeds to plant in the garden which was a kind gesture and completed the delightful experience. We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our anniversary not just because of the high standard of the afternoon tea but also importantly the quality of the service and general positive attitude of the staff. We regularly go for Afternoon tea and the Lanesborough has really set a high standard on a par if not better then the others. A must do experience to celebrate your special day.

Amazing hotel & venue for the Queen Charlotte Festive Afternoon Tea - and the hotel looked very festive on arrival ! Service throughout excelled. Savouries and tea flavours were all excellent, cakes a little sweet for me but my partner loved all. The cocktail option alongside the dining was delicious - so we stayed a little while later to sample a couple of different cocktails in the bar area.... Would recommend the experience to anyone.

If You want an exclusive breakfast in one of the picturesque rooms in central London I would suggest the Lanesborough Hotel. If you are staying in this Hotel you will be visiting another magnificent dining hall. If you are a resident in London you are able to book and pop in. I did have the Bircher muesli and freshly brewed English breakfast tea. My friend did have an Avocado on toast and poached eggs with freshly brewed mint tea. The service is excellent. The food is absolutely tasty. The facilities are exceptional. I would give it 6 starts if I could. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had the pleasure of going to the Bridgerton Afternoon Tea at the Lanesborough! My favourite AT I’ve done so far! Great attention to details with the music, setting, decorations and menu design. Sandwiches and cakes were full of flavour and the Pal Mal cocktail was amazing! Don’t know how I’ll top this afternoon tea experience.

We had afternoon tea and it was really nice. The staff are very attentive but, beware, when you are asked if you would like another bottle of sparkling water; it's not free. Should I have been worrying about the cost etc? No, why? It was such a treat just relax and enjoy it. LILLYBET the cat came out to greet my friend and I which was so funny, I love cats but my friend does not. Everything was absolutely perfect. Will I go back? Yes please!

We only stopped for a drink but what fantastic service! Our waiter, a young man from Newark, was quite exceptional. I personally love the “welcome back” when you leave the bar and return! I’d definitely recommend.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the decor is beautiful. However our afternoon tea was a bit disappointing as we were not offered a refill of coffee or tea so we only had one cup each. The sandwiches and cakes were beautiful but again we only got what was on the cake stand so no refills.

I visited here for a drink at the Library Bar - the champagne cocktails were lovely as was the addition of the table snacks. The only slight downside would be the location of our table as it was very much in the way of the waiters and waitresses. In addition the flowers were plastic which is a personal gripe of mine! I do enjoy a visit for a cocktail! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

Such a lovely afternoon tea, and I love Bridgerton! My family and I were fortunate to snag a reservation, and we were immediately tended to upon walking through the front doors of the beautiful Lanesborough hotel. Amongst the variation of sandwiches and desserts, my favorite sandwich was the Roast Beef Slider and favorite dessert was the cheesecake. Their scones with jam and clotted cream were absolutely delicious as well! Everything, of course, was just lovely from the service to the ambiance. Thankfully we were able to take our leftovers home because we were stuffed. I've already recommended this great experience to our family and friends!

Had the lunch at this amazing hotel and oh my life, the food is to die for! Fantastic service, every diner there whether having lunch or afternoon tea was waited on as if they were the only ones in the room. The food was extremely well presented and absolutely delicious. If you fancy treating yourself or a partner this is definitely a place to go to do such a thing.

My wife and I recently booked in for just one night for her special birthday. The staff were faultless in their attention and service, whilst the environment was fabulous. We heartily recommend and hope to return soon.

Although delicious, the service for afternoon tea was the worst I have ever experienced in a posh establishment. My friend and I were left with no drinks, no food, no service for over 50 minutes. We never received our scones and when we brought our issues up, the waitress tried to argue her way out of it. Beautiful tea room, but do not expect the service to match.

Location is so easy to get to via train from Waterloo. Gorgeous hotel, lovely interior, very beautiful. Afternoon tea and service was wonderful and delicious. However, if we were aware of the service charge being £33 at our afternoon tea, we wouldn't have attended.

Wonderful hotel with extremely attentive staff. Food was excellent, and the Library bar and Garden room had a fantastic selection of drinks and cocktails with first class service. The Garden room as offered an amazing array of Cuban cigars, some pre-Castro. Hope you enjoy your day

Had afternoon tea with my Mother for her birthday in the Celeste restaurant. The food was incredible. So tasty. The staff couldn't have been more helpful without being annoying. The Hotel is beautiful. Thankyou from both of us for a fantastic afternoon. We will definitely be coming back.

We had The Bridgerton Afternoon tea yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary, my daughter and I had the vegetarian option and my husband had the meat option. The food was delicious and the staff refilled our plates for us at no extra charge. We had the most gorgeous cakes and tried many different teas all of which were refilled if requested. The ambience of the room was relaxing and sumptuous and the piano player was lovely. We had such a nice time thank you and definitely recommend The Lanesborough afternoon tea.

We had afternoon tea there two weeks ago and it was really amazing. Staff unbelievable friendly with lovely smiles, the ambience amazing and the items offered for tea were not only beautiful to look at but really yummy and from best quality. And it was so much that we dropped dinner because we were full up. But one highlight came at the end - audience with Lilibet the cat and also a member of the staff. When we asked for her they drove her on her chair into the reception area where we could cuddle and pet her. And the receptionists seemed to be as enthusiastic about her as we were. Will definitely go again.

Was lucky to spend a night. What an amazing hotel. Old school British luxury. Slept like a baby, totally dark room, amazing amenities, great turn down service and fruit in room. The cofee was amazing, as was the entire staff. Probably the best I’ve seen in a very long time. Thank you

The Lanesborough staff go out of their way to accommodate any little or big thing you might ever need. I found everyone of them to be friendly, cheerful and eager to please. The room and hotel were both exceptionally beautiful and elegant. The most beautiful flower arrangements adorned every room and entryway. The food was high quality and delicious. We were unable to partake of their afternoon "Bridgerton" tea which was full even a month ahead of our stay so you must book early. The same can be said for any spa treatment you might want. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay in London.

Our recent impromptu visit to The Lanesborough was a delightful stroke of luck. With about an hour and a half to spare before an event, we decided to pop into one of my favourite spots in London for a coffee, and as always, it never disappoints. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the most charming Christmas decorations – a true festive treat for the eyes. But, what really made our visit stand out was the wonderful staff. They were fantastic, striking that perfect balance of being attentive without being overbearing, even amidst the bustling atmosphere. A special mention must go to how they interacted with my daughter, who, armed with our camera, became the most enthusiastic impromptu photographer. The staff’s encouragement and warmth towards her were heartwarming and added a sprinkle of extra joy to our visit. In short, The Lanesborough was the perfect choice for our unexpected break. It’s not just the elegant surroundings or the delicious coffee that makes this place special; it’s the people who bring it to life. A big thank you to everyone there for making our brief stopover so memorable. I guess it’s true what they say – sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones!
