So,the beach, tourist areas everything is almost in "walkable distance"📍 * "Room Service"was great! Hospitable✌🏻✌🏻 * It has a restaurant inside. So, no need to worry about "Food"🥪🍟 * The room rent was quite "reasonable💵" * Room was clean, airy & facilitative👍🏻 Though Need some improvement to get 10 on 10🤏🏻coz it seems regular room nothing special. * Overall it was a good experience🤗🤗

Everything was good. Two reservations: They switch off the room power when you go out and then you have to keep searching for staff asking them how to switch on. They don't bother explaining. They keep ur IDs till check out. I didn't see this policy anywhere else and I didn't like it one bit.

Is a great place to stay. The owners are very nice people with a gentle character of hospitality. This may have been the first time we stayed here, it certainly won't be the last!

We stayed in an AC room for 4 people in Kumar guest house for a night. No doubt the room is spacious and clean and the attendant is also really helpful. But, there's no power back up. I don't know if it's done purposefully or not, but there was no electricity the entire night. No FAN, no AC in this hot humid weather of Mahabalipuram. The adjacent buildings had electricity. When enquired, the attendant said there's some fault in our building's connection. The power was up when we were about to check out. Coincidence much?! FOOD : 👎👎👎👎👎it's PATHETIC to be honest. We ordered prawns fried rice, mushroom fried rice and mix veg fried rice. Who puts prawns and eggs in a mix veg fried rice? Except for the mushroom one, rest of the dishes were not at all edible. The prawns seemed to be of rubber. You cannot swallow it even after chewing for a long time. And when we addressed this to the waiter( or the chef maybe) , he said I've been fasting since 3 months so couldn't taste the food ( what an excuse!) Beside our table there was a family from UK dining with us that night. This guy was so into serving them ( which we had no issues with because ATHITHI DEVO BHAVA) and even gave a complimentary dish to them but sadly, they could only consume the french fries rest everything was wasted. They couldn't eat any of the ordered dishes. (Now imagine the quality of food here) The service at the restaurant of this guest house was the worst to be honest! I'd only recommend this place if you're out of options but also carry your food along.

we got this guest house thru google search . Very nice &clean Rooms with amenities.perfect location near the beach and monuments .very beautiful roof garden ,big car parking, overall comfortable place to stay with family and pets. very courteous owner and staff.

All the way we troop of 10 members from Sullurupeta ANDHRA PRADESH.... We are here at mahabalipuram.... Found a good guest house (KUMAR GUEST HOUSE) in awesome atmosphere.... Walkable distance to mahabalipuram beach, temple and market.... Well maintained rooms and air conditioners.... Friendly staff,,,,,......:-) Lot of secured car and bike parking..... Easy access from main road... Very good experience staying here...
