I visited this beautiful place on a late Sunday afternoon. The ambiance was posh and classy. Even though it was very crowded I got a seat. The service could have been better. They forgot to give us plates. And then forgot to give us condiments. And it was very busy so we had to wait a while to get their attention. Coming to the food, everything I tried was extremely delicious. They serve only Italian cuisine and it was every bit Italian as it could get. I loved that their menu had the names of dishes in Italian as well as english. I ordered their chicken nuggets which was served with onion rings, fries and a salad with Mayo. I also got their pesto chicken garlic bread. It was delicious but the crust was very thick and dry. The harissa chicken pizza was thin and delicious. With an ample topping of chicken. The crust however was again thick and dry. For dessert, I got the cheesecake and the brownie with ice cream. The cheesecake was the best I've had to date. And the brownie was delicious too. They levy a 10% service charges on the bill. If you're not happy with your service, you can talk to them about it for sure. Although, I paid up without making a fuss owning to the crowd. However, service and good food go hand in hand when were charged a bomb for it. Hence only 4 stars. If you're ever in the area,do check them out. Their food will not disappoint for sure. Ambiance: 4/5 Taste: 5/5 Value for money: 4/5 Service:3/5

Great place to hangout with family and friends! Amazing food, price is slightly towards the higher end but it’s worth it! The staff is also friendly and helpful! A must visit pizzeria for the perfect pizzas and other Italian cuisines!

Pretty crowded and hence reservation is recommended during the weekends.. live music, well set interiors and a nice spread available in terms of variety. It's fine dining..so basically things are expensive and sometimes not as good as it looks. I enjoyed some things but the starters were disappointing due to the quantity and the unnecessary garnishing that took up 70% of the plate. Pizza was good. The desserts mango Pannacotta and chocolate mousse were both super delicious and worth having. Overall worth a visit.

Beautiful space with fantastic Italian food. The inside is as beautiful as it is cozy. There is a massive bar at the far end with lots of cocktail and wine options. Food is fresh and fairly authentic. The thin-crust pizzas are amazing and a must-have. Bread is fresh, and the pesto that comes with it is just right. Lots of vegetarian options. Attentive and friendly staff.

Been here for the first time. Completely Italian!! Nice ambience and quiet place, with excellent interior.. Tried almost all starters and some main courses.. taste is somewhat good.. Prawn & squid starter was delicious.. Beef platter is sour.. Pizzas are ok! Overall a nice experience :)

The ambience was stunning. Their food was luscious. The carbonara was just exquisite and to finish with a creme brulee was just what we needed. The staff are very courteous. Overall a very cozy experience. The only downside is they are expensive.

A good Italian joint, offers variety of their cuisine. The meals are wholesome and tastes awesome. The ambiance is light and cheerful with a equally posh crowd. There is live music too. The staff is courteous and helpful, gives an effort in making you understand the menu which has the names of the dishes written in Italian. The decor and setting reminds of similar places in actual Italy. The prices are a little on the higher side. All in all a must try place.

The food was amazing. Also all of servers and managers are very sensible, kind, and nice. I think the steak was the most delicious in Chennai. I highly recommend it. The ambiance is also great for a date or a blind meeting haha 😍

Totally love this place, been here multiple times and here is what I like the most - 🍕Food - tried most of the things available on their menu. Here is what I loved the most - pizza (love the burrata one), risotto, chicken plates and the desserts (crumble pie is my fav 🍥) and all of them tastes perfect, just cant complain! 🍴Service - the staff is really nice, attentive and offers really nice suggestions, especially the manager (head waiter), takes real good care of the customers. 🪅Vibe check - any time you go the place just looks like a wow. If you want to go for a really nice date, then I suggest visiting this place that too in evening - feels so romantic and cozy. So far have loved all my visits, hoping the further ones continue to be as good, plan to visit here soon again ✨

We visited Toscano to try on Italian food. We had Broccoli Spinach Soup which was good. Lasagne de pollo was very good. Ravioli de pollo was good and worth a try. The calamari e gamberi was good for a starter. They also have a wide variety of beverages and deserts available. Good choice for Italian food.

Food was very tasty. The pizza with boiled egg was a treat. Pasta was slightly extra creamy so you might have to tell the kitchen. Slightly expensive than the usual Italian ones.

This place doesn't just have a beautiful ambience, but the Italian food they serve is delicious too. Specially, if you ask me, they serve the best Tiramisu in Chennai. Every time I'm near the Thousand Lights area, I always stop by to taste their heavenly cold coffee and extremely delicious tiramisu. The squid and onion rings too is a favourite as a starter. It might come across as a little pricey but they maintain their food standards well. Their pizzas are good too. For the ambience and the decadent food, do try this place. 10/10 recommended.

Delicious italian food. We had some pink sauce pasta, chicken lasagne, a marguerita pizza and a garlic bread. The pasta was fantastic ! And special mention for the focaccia bread that they served as a complimentary with pesto and tomato puree. Special thanks to Martha who was awesome, kind and smiling ! Kuddos to her hospitality and service :)

Nestled within an elegantly decored small space is an Italian Restaurant that serves their cusine with warmth and richness... An exquisite array of Italian flavors to feast upon is on offer, while enjoying the melodies of yester years and new, via the Live performance of Ms.Lalrengpuii who sang some beautiful songs... The pastas and pizzas were a feast, while the Lamb Racks, Duck Confit and Spare Ribs were a class by itself. Hats off to the Chef who knows his mark, and the equally well versed front staff. A place that truly instills Italian throughout... Toscanos definitely pins its presence on tha map...

Visited the restaurant a couple of times- with my wife the first time and with my friends the next time. The place suits both the occasions. Great garlic bread and Pizzas. Loved the roasted pumpkin soup and the silky broccoli soup on the respective days- both were the soup of the days of the respective days. The mozzarella was fresh and top notch- in the salad and on the pizza. The desserts are artfully plated. Service is quite pleasant and mostly fast, but is it worth the flat 10% they add on the bill? We’ll I had no reason to ask them to take it off my bill as service was fine, but not elated about it either. The first time if not for the included SCR, I’d have anyway ended tipping about 3% and the second time about 2% as we were group of 7 with a bill of over 12k. Adopting the US tipping culture blindly- nah, not good. If so, do you get waited like in the US? Nope, not from what I’ve heard. On the down sides- the salads- felt they don’t really know what goes where. If you order the 3 or 4 salads on the menu, the chances are that you can’t distinguish them on your table. And who would place a bottle of ketchup the first thing on your table in an Italian restaurant!! 🤌 The comment on not knowing what goes where- another example is that of having sprouts on dessert- well they have some nice sprouts and I felt they’re overusing it in more than the necessary dishes. The pesto what I got as sides for a complimentary bread platter felt out of this world. But the pesto pasta (or pasta Genovese as they call it- not that it took me to Genoa) wasn’t that impressive- fusilli reason’s pesto pasta does a more flavourful job I felt. On the deserts- crème brûlée was just ok. Mango panna cotta felt more jelly-ish that I’m used to. The Tiramisu with the coffee ice cream were a treat to see and eat as well. The New York cheese cake- 4/5, didn’t feel it super fresh. May have nitpicked a lot of small stuff, but paying for premium deserves such service. But over all, had a good time both the times with no major problems.

Loved the pizza over here. I seldom have veg pizza and I was fondly surprised with the taste and flavour the pizza gleamed with. The staff welcome you with a huge smile and accommodate all the requests. I would definitely visit this place again.

Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Chennai. Surprised how this place isn't that popular when compared to other eateries similar to it. Anyways, we found this place in Zomato and decided to give it a try in spite of the high prices. But boy, wasn't it worth the price!? So, we started off with the complimentary breads which in itself was delicious. We ordered the soup of the day, which was a Cream of Carrot soup which was absolutely delicious and creamy. It had a unique taste and was easily the best when compared to all other carrot soups I've had. The garlic bread with pesto and sun dried tomatoes was such a delicious starter. It was almost on par with any good pizza that u would get in Chennai. The chicken nuggets and sauteed mushrooms and artichokes were also good and came in sufficient quantities. However the standout starter should be the fried mozzarella and arancini balls served with onion rings and the chicken bruschetta. Easily the best bruschetta anywhere in Chennai and the mozzarella cheese was so soft , tender and fresh. Completely impressed with everything we had till now, we moved on to the main course. Although many places in Chennai have ravioli in their menu, most of those say they're out of ravioli when we order. So it's been a long time craving and luckily, this place had it. And wow, it was so delicious that we even thought of having two more raviolis instead of desserts. It was that good and the sauce was absolutely gorgeous. We got both the chicken and spinach with ricotta ravioli and both of those were in tough competition with each other. The formaggi pizza was handmade and had a thin crust which was top notch too. The surf and turf with prawns and beef was a bit disappointing because the prawns were slightly overcooked but the beef medallions more than made up for it. The cook on the beef was perfect and went well with the condiments and the sauce. The desserts were more impressive and stumped us. We finished the first set of desserts in record time of less than 2 minutes. It was so gorgeous that we literally fought with each other to complete it. The signature mousse and panacotta was delicious and the chocolate fudge and tiramisu was outstanding. The hot chocolate was a big let down and that's the only thing which was of mediocre taste in our entire lunch. But still, I'd definitely give it 5stars coz of the Ambience and the taste and quality of food. Simply amazing and one of the hidden gems of Chennai.

The place and the hype stands for its ambience, food and great service. Enjoyed the dining experience and was delighted by the courteous behavior of the staffs. If you are person who indulges in Italian cuisines, this is one of the few places in Chennai which won’t disappoint you.

Food is great. Had the prawn mains and ricotta. Tasted good, ambience was calm and romantic, went on an off-timing, early evening. Place was almost empty and easy parking. Dessert, atleast the Textures was a let down, looks amazing, tastes just normal.

Apt place for candlelight dinner. The food could've been better. Service is tad slow. However the ambience literally amps it up. Good place to get clicked. The bar and it's serves stood out. Prior RSVP is required to avoid waiting.

Best Italian food in Chennai. Pesto chicken garlic bread is so yummy. The crust was perfectly baked and beats any pizza. We tried the Hirassa pizza and it was ok. Hot chocolate and basil orange drink are must tries. Customer service at it’s best. We were offered a complimentary brownie with ice cream which was a perfect match for a heavy meal. Thank you Toscana. Will be visiting again soon.

Though a frequent visitor to Toscano Bangalore and visited Toscano Chennai for the first time. Service was very good. Food preparation was excellent. The restaurant is always one of my favourite. Suggestion look restaurant owners..... The restaurant should reconsider the wastages they are creating by means of packing the plates and cutlery. While it gives a sense of being sanitized, it can be kept in warmers and and place neatly after guests are seated. The food is served in plates that are handled by the serving team. The same can be done for everything. If you ask for a serving spoon or extra cutlery they are giving you the regular. So why create wastage if paper by wrapping plates and glasses and cutlery in paper pouches. This is the case in Bangalore and Chennai.

Went to grab a quick lunch with a client, very kind people and a really well thought out ambience, brings a comforting warmth from the outside world. Tried their Toscano pizza and harissa chicken Pizza on a half and half pie. Not surprising, but.......Reallyyy GOOOOOD pizza, great flavour in the dough, light, airy, chewy but crispy on the base and edges with perfect dark spots on the bottom....with balanced sauce, cheese and toppings.....didn't overdo anything, everything was just right. Will definitely visit again, and highly recommend to a friend.

The food was amazing. The bruschetta was to die for especially the hummus although from a Italian restaurant their hummus bruschetta was delightful to the mouth. I also had the lamb chops which were perfectly cooked to a medium and served with herb tossed potatoes and gravy with a mix of zucchini. On the whole I had a good experience with the my waiter Martha who took care of me like my brother and recommended really delicious food and she also didn't accept the tip I wanted to give her. Thank you

Loved the ambience. Beautiful menu, very crisp and unique. Ordered the chicken risotto, roasted stuffed chicken, basil orange drink and the brownie with dark chocolate ice cream. The risotto was so delicate and creamy. The roasted chicken with the vegetables and sauce tasted delicious. The roasted potatoes added the right the amount of balance to the meal. The drink was a good accompaniment and refresher. The highlight of the meal was the dessert. The decadance of the chocolate in the brownie along with the bitterness of the dark chocolate ice cream definitely deserves the chef's kiss. 😄 The prices are expensive but worth the hype if you're treating yourself once a while. The service was good. Covid rules were adhered well. Overall, a brilliant meal and a wonderful place to eat at.

We went for dinner and the restaurant atmosphere gave a candle light dinner 🍽️ feeling which was great for us. They had a very wide menu for foods and drinks which I liked. We tried their bruschetta and sour dough pizza along with some mocktails. They also gave complimentary bread of the day for our tasting, which was good. Our favourite was the bruschetta and Pizza was also nice. Their service was also very pleasant and would like to visit again to try more from the menu

Loved our meal experience here. Some of the best things were: 1. Cutlery, plates, etc were provided in sanitized and sealed pack. Tables were cleaned and all serving staff wore masks. Very courteous service too. 2. Mocktails menu is excellent. Lychee lemonade is must try for lychee lovers. They have non alcoholic beer too. 3. Loved their silky broccoli and spinach soup, artichoke based spiral pasta. 4. Pannacotta was okay, could have been softer. Possibly they did the best they could with the eggless option we ordered.

Sometimes a little noise goes a long way This beautiful chic restaurant has an amazing menu However our initial entree the buratta was super disappointing as was my mocktail We mentioned this and they pulled up their socks and gave us a most delectable goats cheese salad The ravioli was one dimensional and a tad bit salty The risotto was decent The kahlua mousse was downright amazing Will I go back..... Let's see

Must must try rustica and vegeteria pizza .. we got it like half n half . Pizza can make anyone happy and toscanos pizza made us the happiest .. we had a tuff day and just the pizza and their ambience and service made us forget everything ! The candle on the table made us feel a lil more relaxed !! We also ordered pesto garlic bread which was like eating raw bread without any flavours. But we can always ignore the pesto garlic and still enjoy the yummy pizzas 🍕😋

So, I visited Toscano at KNK road, last Saturday. It was a great place to be. They had a live singer singing her out and entertaining us. The vibe was LIT. So The things I liked- 1. A sanitized kit of cutlery, consisting of plate, glass, spoon and fork. 2. Hospitality on point 3. Food was yum. It should include more starter varieties although. We had veg bruschetta and chicken bruschetta in starters. 4. I did not get the opportunity to taste the cocktails as I was with my family.

The lasagne Vegeteria was a 1/10 , the lychee lemonade was a 9/10 and coming to desserts the Kalhua mousse was a 5/10. The ambience is good but the food wasn’t upto the mark.

  • 3/5 Pranesh R. 1 year ago on Google
It has a really nice ambience and great service. In a place like this, I would expect the dip that comes with different kinds of fries to go well with them. Ordered Paprika fries and the dip was spicy too, maybe something bland would've been nice. But this is nitpicking because of the price range this is in. I liked how the pasta tasted but I had to add seasonings on my own, to achieve an ideal salt level. The garlic bread accompaniment was just pure rubbish. It was served with some part of it broken off and went stale and hard as soon as it was served. Heard from my friend that Peach Iced Tea was good, I can't add anything to that. Coffee & Tiramisu milkshake tasted true to the flavour. A decent experience overall.
