I would not normally leave a bad review just because my nails were done badly, though they were. Manicure is uneven and blotchy, with color splats of different shade. Brit Noy did a poor job. However the part that made me angry enough to write this review, was that I got SCAMMED out of $25. Brit Noy told me that she requires a $25 deposit before making an appointment ("via any epay app"). No problem, I sent $25 to her phone number via Venmo. The deposit was received and confirmed by Noy. Please see attached pictures. After my nails were done, Noy asked for $40. Minus the deposit, I assumed? No. Noy said that she never got the deposit, so I have to pay her the $40. The explanation she gave, was that she does not actually have access to the Venmo account her phone number is connected to! Yes, it's her phone number, but she doesn't have access to the account, so even though I paid $25 per her instructions, she can't access it, so I have to pay her again! I'm 9 months pregnant, I get emotional, and I didn't want to make a scene, so I just paid and left. Venmo did not return my money, so now I have to go through some lengthy dispute process with my bank which I may, or may not win. This has been a humiliating experience, and I will tell all of my friends to avoid this business. The practice of scamming your clients by asking them a deposit to an account "you don't have access to" is unacceptable. Noy has my phone number in case management would like to reach out to discuss this incident.

I had my hair colored, cut, and styled by Tera a few days ago and my hair is still soft with healthy curls. There aren’t a lot of people I trust with my hair because my hair is curly and frizzy but Tera knew exactly what to do with it. I walked out of the salon with defined curls. If you want someone to do your hair with lots of experience and knowledge, go to Tera.

This review is for Tera E! She has been doing my hair for years and I get tons of compliments after she does my hair. She is so talented and just gets it! She has suggestions on keeping hair healthy and always tones my hair just right. I highly recommended her! Also the haircuts and great 😃

Tera E., my amazing hairstylist, recently returned from a two-year expedition dedicated to honing her craft and mastering her art. And let me tell you....the transformation this woman has undergone professionally is nothing short of incredible! After patiently waiting for her return, I finally had the privilege of sitting in her chair again yesterday. It felt like a reunion with a long-lost friend. Before I even settled into her chair, Tera asked for my inspiration, and I shared my Pinterest board with her. From there Tera went to work, and the result was nothing short of breathtaking. She didn't just replicate the color from my picture; she breathed life into it. She knew exactly which shades would harmonize with my features. Now for the hair cut...Tera gave me the best freaking long layers haircut of my life!!! Her hair cut enhance my features and made my hair look fuller, even though I am 8 months postpartum with my hair falling out constantly. She was able to put life back into this very tired mother of two. I released while sitting in her chair that Tera's journey wasn't just about the miles she traveled; it was about the knowledge she acquired, the techniques she mastered, and the wisdom she gained. Aside from her skills and talent, something that truly sets Tera apart is her ability to connect with her clients on a personal level. As she colored and snipped, we shared stories, dreams, and laughter, making the salon visit feel like a heartwarming reunion with an old friend. I am so glad Tera E. is back home at Beauty Lounge doing what she does best - making people look and feel amazing.

Absolutely love this hair salon! Especially Andrea. She is incredibly talented with blonde hair. Especially long blonde hair...which can be difficult to continue to lighten while maintaining length and volume. She is able to do both through her focus on preserving the integrity of the hair while still achieving that lived in gorgeous look. Worth the wait to make sure you get in with her!

I had such a great experience with Tera. She did an amazing job and achieved exactly what I was looking to do color wise. I am pretty particular about my blonde hair and she masters the perfect blend of honey blonde mixed with brighter blonde highlights. She is timely, professional, and overall an incredibly talented stylist. Highly recommend Tera and Beauty Lounge!

While in the Bay Area, I live in Oregon, I make sure I have time for a hair cut & style at Beauty Lounge & Wine Bar by Taryn. For whatever reason I can’t find the upscale, professional treatment I want here in OR. The professional, fun, spa atmosphere there adds to the services I am there for. Taryn has a creative aptitude for doing hair. She listens & has the personality to go with her profession.

As someone with thick, curly and wavy hair, it is hard to find a good stylist. Thankfully, I found Negda and I could not be happier! She made sure to choose a good style that would work with my hair, and when she did, I loved it! She is an amazing stylist who is so sweet and fun to talk to! She has a great eye for style and is very detailed oriented. The whole place was a nice vibe and everyone was nice. I highly recommend anyone with thick and curly hair, especially men to go and see her for she will always do an amazing job! Thank you Negda, and I will be sure to visit again!
