This place is pure Vietnamese awesomeness,it has really tasty food, fast and courteous service and really cool ambiance (for the outdoor dining). Plenty of parking outside. Food was good. Spring rolls were delicious and felt very fresh. Peanut sauce was amazing. Service was also attentive. I also had a Passion fruit boba drink and it was good. We come back to this spot Whenever we're in the Monterey area. I've also had lemongrass chicken and it was delicious.

OMG! I’m from out of town and walked down to eat dinner the last night I was in town. Let me tell you, it left me craving Vietnamese food in a way that no other restaurant could satisfy! The food was beyond your regular pho and stir fry. I had the most delish salad and an AMAZING vegan pho. The best pho broth EVAR!! Check it out if you get the chance.

This place is amazing! Definitely a go to next time I’m driving up from LA to SF or whenever I’m in the area! Amazing portions, hospitable service and mouth watering, delicious meal! Nothing beats some good rolls! The hot boba tea was a great recommendation! Definitely a must.

Food was fresh tasting, didn’t feel like a heavy meal but did fill you up. Spring Rolls were delish, also love there house fried rice. I would definitely recommend. Atmosphere was comfortable. Overall would 100% go back again. :)

This is a great small cozy restaurant with reasonable price. I enjoyed the dine in and take out. Will definitely come back here again when in town. The taste was good, portion of the meal was plenty to fill your stomach, the cook was perfect, food decoration was nice, and the polite service was wonderful. We was coming late due to a long trip, the restaurant was passionate to let us in to order to go, this kindly heart that we will remember. Most of the restaurants were closed during the time we arrived there. Keep up the excellent work.

Little Vietnam in Monterey.. Best food so far hands down in this beautiful city.. I'm talking about flavor Town. Com Huge portions Top Quality Price is the kicker for this amazing food. This place turns tables quick! Extremely efficient. We arrived and it was full (we were the only ones waiting) and they turned a table in minutes. We sat down, ordered, and our food was out in minutes too! My husband got beef pho and I got Bun Bo Hue. Both were great. Nice spot for a quick and yummy bite!

Old history: This used to be the location of a Wendy's. To be honest, I've been here only once or twice many years ago. There briefly used to be another Vietnamese restaurant I preferred on Fremont, but those guys are no longer there. These guys are still standing. My problem is I compare this to what's available in San Jose and Westminster (The #2 & #1 Vietnamese communities in the US). Comparatively this isn't as fresh. But to be honest, the fact that it's here isn't bad. The soup actually has some flavor. So let's me real, unless I want to spend the time to make phở at home by myself and it tastes better, then I can complain. But since I can't, this is a good choice. Plus, service was excellent when I was here. There were a lot of people. It did feel a little cramped.

We started digging in before I could even take the picture! It was really tasty. I got the Basil Eggplant and it was delightful. I’ve definitely become a big fan of eggplant as a result. Everything was hot and fresh and the staff was friendly.

It had a nice atmosphere, was clean, and you can tell that the people who work here care a lot about their customers having a good experience. Food was freshly made and felt very healthy too. Love this place! My tofu noodles were fantastic- The fresh vegetables and tofu were healthy and refreshing and really hit the spot. The staff was very hardworking on a busy weeknight and so gracious to the rush of dine in customers that arrived just as they were about to close.

Probably the only "classic" Vietnamese restaurant in Monterey. Decided to hit this up the morning after a night of wedding drinking. Needed some pho to come back to life! It was simple and rejuvenated me. Much needed! The pho is pretty simple quality, but overall it did the job. A good amount of meat to noodle ratio. I also got a half order of summer rolls. These were subpar and weren't rolled very well, but still good. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was a but weak too and too watered down. Overall, a good enough place when your craving Vietnamese food, especially if you need something comforting!

They allow dogs on the outdoor seating area, but you will have to go through the restaurant, which is quite tight and packed with tables. Therefore, you will inevitably bump into other patrons, especially if you have a medium or up size dog. I really like the idea of this place, but the menu items are not well executed. If done right, it would have been a fantastic meal. But since it wasn't, it just left me disappointed at the quality of the food, feeling cheated for the price, and worst of all, leaving hungry. If they have excellent service and ambiance that can justify the price tag, I can understand. But this just....isn't. If they focus on fusion Vietnamese food, or traditional Vietnamese cuisine, or even the quality of their service and ambiance, they have a better chance of succeeding as a business long term. Right now, they are kinda trying all 3 of them, and none of them are meeting the standard. If they focus on 1 thing and fix that, they would have a much better chance at earning returning customers. But for now, this is a place holder for people who lack options and are willing to compromise.

Food is definitively 8.5/10. The staff is friendly and courteous and the place has enough seating and good parking. A good place to try nice good.

Delicious, fresh and flavorful!! Would highly recommend this spot, affordable and portions were perfectly balanced. We walked here from our hotel nearby, there is a decent parking lot located behind the restaurant and restrooms outside the building.

Reasonably priced Vietnamese inspired chain local to the Monterey and Carmel area. The pho is reasonably priced and decent but the rice dishes are average at best. I would also skip the egg rolls (fried) as they taste like your average Chinese take out egg rolls, not Vietnamese at all.

All the food are excellent and broth of pho and bun bo hue is authentic. Will definitely come back again.

I asked the server if this was the normal amount of chicken. He said no. But that they were too busy. He then said let me check if I can get you more. He then said sorry, we are too busy. What a let down of such a good restaurant. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Mikey would always make this right

Everything was bad here. 1. Several drinks order mix-ups. Coconut juice was okay, but it seemed it had added sugar which was weird. 2. Very small portion sizes 3. No flavor in the veg chow fun or the veg noodle bowl. Lots of veggies was appreciated, but the food was a huge disappointment with regards to taste.
