must try the chocolates at Ghirardelli. this branch is located in Monterey California. they also serve ice cream. Don’t miss this and take advantage of their deals if you get more than 2 sets of chocolates.

I loved this place. My husband stopped by when we were at Cannery Row and it did not disappoint. I for the Treasure Island which is a wan brownie with vanilla ice cream that's topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, almonds and a cherry. My husband got the frozen hot chocolate. He liked it, said it was good and not overly sweet. The place is clean, has an outside sitting area, and the staff was friendly.

I love the Iced cream from this place, it’s delicious. The service is excellent, very professional and organized, there is Outside sitting with ocean view, everything looks clean. I only been like 3 times to this location and is always busy, that’s a good sign Thank you girls for working so hard

The ice cream here is worth trying ! The taste is much different from the chocolate of ghirardelli; The location is good although outside on the oceanfront might be bit crowded! Stand price for ghirardelli so no comments on that .

I go to Monterey often, but this was my first time visiting a chocolate shop. Since we had quite a bit of time left until our dinner reservation time, we decided to have dessert first. I was able to get the Original Fudge Sundae, which my husband chose, really quickly (it was served as soon as we sat down at the table) and wow, it was really sweet. Thanks to this, we had to change our dinner menu. Hahaha

The ice cream seemed a bit over priced... That is until you get a cauldron of it. The sundaes were absolutely delicious. My wife loved the non-dairy fudge sundae. I had the salted caramel and it was great. It was busy so the staff was trying to keep up with the tables. We wound up cleaning one up ourselves to face the ocean. I don't blame the staff, it's on Cannery Row, tourists everywhere, etc. Overall, it was a good time and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves.

Vegan option Now they finallly have this vegan/non dairy ice cream and it’s so good!!!! The one in the plastic cup was a couple of months ago but I was there last week(may 2023) and they were back on serving it in the glass, so exciting! Everyone there is so nice all the time cute sitting area inside as well as outside with ocean view or view to cannery row!

Delicious selection of candies for gifts. There are also ice cream sundaes and smoothies that can be ordered. Enjoy the seating behind the store with views of the beach and bay.

The young ladies who were working at the restaurant at the time were very professional, Efficient yet friendly. I heard them in a conversation with other customers and they were always very respectful to everybody. I didn't take a picture of my ice cream because I was busy eating it. And yes I paid for parking just to stop for ice cream but it was well worth it.

The icecream was delicious. It was not very expensive either. They had indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. They also had shakes and coffee.

This is one of my favorite places in Monterrey. I always have to come here everytime i come to Monterrey. Their coffee and hot coco is just amazing. I highly recommend visiting this place and order their hot white mocha 👌 Also, their store location is in the middle of everything. I love sitting in the back because of the beach view. Very relaxing and romantic 😍

Wonderful treats - a great way to satisfy a chocolate fix. We ended up spending way more than planned. And the salted carmel banana shake was amazing!

I was here 16 years ago when we lived at Fort Ord for DLI. We just brought the 16 year old who was born here back to his birthplace. This little shop is still here and open! I was thrilled! The place looks and smells just like I remember it and reminds me of the treats I would have while he slept in his stroller. The choices have expanded of course, but nothing else has changed. Fantastic scoops as always and friendly staff. Please don’t ever change. Maybe someday my son will bring his kids here too!

OMGoodness...the Treasure Island. This was freaking delicious!! You will put yourself in a sugar coma. I couldn't finish it all. This sundae has a warm half brownie, vanilla icecream, hot fudge, topped with whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry. It'll set you back $18, but this is Cannery Row and the price of tourism. I didn't regret it one bit. Fast and friendly service.

Very clean with great ice cream.. despite their name the chocolate selection was rather slim relying on their little squares. But the gem here is the ice cream. Flavorful and with a decent variety to boot!

Ocean Front Ice Cream! I got the Hot Fudge Sundae which was very good. Enjoyed a table by the ocean and enjoyed the beautiful day. Good location short walk from the aquarium. I was there at 3:30 or so on October 1st with no line at all. Staff is great here.

How could you ask for more? The best ice cream, hot fudge and chocolate in the world served on cannery row in Monterey with seating overlooking the ocean. It doesn’t get any better than this. The place is clean, the service spectacular and you have the crashing ocean waves to serenade you while you enjoy your sweet treat. I’ve literally never had a bad ghirardelli sundae but to sit and enjoy it while overlooking the Pacific Ocean just 30 feet away is amazing. Definitely stop here for the delicious ice cream —the amazing ambience is just the cherry on top (yea every bit of that pun was intended). Tell them David sent you…and I promise they’ll give you really weird looks 😃

Yum Yum Yum!!! Enjoyed ice cream outside on the patio. Came back 2 days later to pick some chocolate to bring home for a family member. Great place, and staff! So friendly.

Took advantage of the non existent line to enjoy a hot fudge sundae. Your sweet tooth will be satisfied. On a scale of 1-5 regarding price, i give this a 5. $15.00 FOR A SUNDAE!???
