Don't be put off ! these folk are very nice and welcoming. the staff takes their time to help you decide wether you're a Veteran Kava drinker or new to the Concuction. Will most Def be returning here.

Not your average bar. Serves traditional Kava from Fiji. Dried and pounded into a powder on site. There are two types of kava sold here Waka and Lawena. Very friendly staff. You are able to purchase your own set for a traditional kick back in your own home. You have got to try it out at least once in your life. If you want something to relieve stress and anxiety kava will help with that!

Excellent kava, awesome owner! I come from Oakland to get a gallon of kava. Well worth the travels. Accessible by BART! I do wish they would get rid of the tvs, as news is not conducive to a relaxing environment. 5 stars!

My brother and I enjoyed a couple bowls yesterday together and we couldn't have asked for more, from this great Kava bar. On vacation in the Bay Area, me from Colorado him from Hawaii. Our only regret is that we won't be able to visit this place more often. We are going to go back for a second time today though well we're still in town.

my father and I went to go drink some Kava very nice experience the manager of the place is very welcoming the vibes were there we just sat down and enjoyed the Fiji culture all around the room the kava hit us on the way back home we were so relaxed and enjoyed the effect definitely will be coming back thanks for the experience very cultural I highly recommend this place hands down

Cozier than it looks. The seats are comfy and theres a calm atmosphere. The TV was on a low volume and they have books to flip through. No mixed kava drinks. They seem to prefer to keep things traditional, which is fine.

Decent experience. Didn't sit super well in the stomach, but its definitely just be me. Ambiance and vibe is really chill. Coworkers definitely loved it.

I love kava bar! The kava was good and the portion generous for the price. Server/owner was very friendly and helpful. Told us how to brew kava with the powder and offered to demonstrate if we needed help. Brought us fresh mango to eat while we drank! Explained how he buys the root from Fiji and beats it into powder himself. The powder was reasonably priced as well. Great place to relax with a couple friends. I would go there all the time if I lived in the area. We need a kava bar in Pittsburgh!

Wow the kindest owner and very cool experience. We came here with a big group for my husbands birthday after dinner since he didn’t want alcohol and really enjoyed trying kava! Very relaxing and chill vibes. Definitely recommend trying it out, we definitely would love to return.

Flew into San Fransisco from Alaska at like 12am, hours show the bar as open until 1am. Spend $90 on an Uber to arrive to a closed business. So disappointing, and such a waste of time and money. Definitely going to a different bar while I’m here.

Most boring place to drink kava. Opening and closing times are inconsistent. Was told over the phone they were feeling under the weather and got tested. They still opened up, served kava while waiting for there results for Covid. Don’t waste your time

I love all of the kava bars around the bay but this place is really special. Generous portions, strong grog, a down to earth vibe. Prices are also the most reasonable.
