Great museum, but a bit old and needs restoration. Interesting mosaics can be seen as a glimpse into the Ancient Roman lifestyle.

Great underrated museum, despite the poor local organisation. At first I thought it is closed but luckily some school children came and entered. Very interesting mosaics, gold coins and artefacts.

This museum is truly amazing and was one of the highlights of my trip to Bulgaria. Built around in situ Roman mosaics, it offers visitors an opportunity to see stunning, ancient works of art with such historic value that they literally grace textbook pages. The staff at the museum were also friendly and spoke English well.

Cool mosaics, but I would like it more if they clean them better or show a picture/reproduction of the mosaics' picture, so we can see clearly what it's supposed to look like.

Nice, but small. Low entrance fee (5 lv) was ok for it however.

This is a Soviet era museum displaying a number of mosaics from a private home from the Roman era. Unfortunately, it is not well funded and therefore not well maintained, but it remains an interesting visit.

Nice Roman villa mosaics, preserved as they were on the floors...

Museum was closed! We went on 01 dec, on a sunday. Does anyone know if the museum is closed for good?

The concept and exhibition are interesting but the writing is only in Bulgarian. The exhibition is also relatively small. The entry fee is small too, so I'd still recommend a visit if you are traveling in the area.

An interesting visit here. No guide but a few written explanations in English sufficient to get the idea of this museum.

Interesting Musium, but needs better explanations and colourful photos of the mosaics to add value to the exposition.
