Neat place,Drinking, mobile charging and bathroom facility available. Most of the trains stops here. Friendly atmosphere with the side of railway staffs, no harsh behaviour yet feels. Granite paving floor makes the station more clean and beauty.

Kanhangad lies at 12°18′0″N 75°5.4′0″E in the geographic map of Kasaragod. It is a coastal town which has a varied topography with plain areas in the centre of the city. The landscape is dominated by the characteristic coconut palms accompanying rolling hills and streams flowing into the sea. In the East, there are hilly areas of Madikai . The western region has powdered sand and a mix of laterite and alluvial soil in the areas between. The hilly areas typically consists of red sand. The Arabian Sea lies in the west and Western Ghats in the east. The Neeleshwaram River originates from the Kinanoor hills, passes south through Arangadi and drains into the Nileshwar.

I can't but say that the people and the Authorities of this TOWN is one among the finest people of KERALA, THE GOD'S OWN COUNTRY with encouraging attitudes and astonishing understandings!!🙏!! With their pleasant smile they always underlines the Motto of BHARAATHEEYANS that ADITHI :DEVO: BHAVA:!!❤️!!

The station is right in the middle of the city. The platforms are on the ground floor. The parking is a bit cramped. Otherwise the facilities are ok. Looks pretty old station...but seems to be a well known place around , can say good town with some part having beach.....had a good time..need to be developed.

Kanhangad railway station is best one in kasargod district , 24*7 availability of transportation services , near to hospital and bus stand ,its is located in the proper kanhangad town it's a well developed station with hygiene surrounding and good facilities available

Maintenance is very good. Announcements are proper and digital display boards are working fine. Food and water facilities are good.waiting hall for 2nd class and platform waiting halls are available and air circulated by fans. AC waiting hall also available. Flyover are available for transition of other platforms.Escalators are being built and will come soon start working.Enjoy;).

A city which is straight and non congested, experiencing low traffic and safe drive, whole city can be visible by a a straight drive that's the speciality of kanhangad.

Very neat and beautiful town you will get all services and all items shops. Parking facility is lil prob.
