Thaikadappuram beach at Nileshwaram in Kasaragod district is famous for the rare Olive Ridley turtles that visit here during the rainy season to lay eggs. Activists of Neythal, a non-governmental organisation, run an Olive Ridley breeding centre here. September to January is the ideal time to visit the beach. It is located 40 km south of Kasaragod.

The beach is nice and not too crowded, I enjoyed my visit to thaikadappuram beach, It is perfect to spend your evening watching the sunset, the beach is clean and maintained, looks attractive, playing around with the waves, and one needs to park on an open road which is narrow.

Mostly people visit in the evening time. Also there's a resort nearby. The main disadvantage is that u can't find any stalls to eat in the beach. The experience was very nice. thank you......

Pleasant and calm beach, feels more private. Less crowded and one of the best places in Bekal to enjoy the sunset.

Private paid parking is there. The facility is rushed on public holidays. Otherwise, it is fine. The beach is clean. But you can't sunbathing. The facility is where a major South Indian river merges with he Arabian sea. So if you are good at fishing and did it in a sea current you know what to do.

A nice and clean beach to enjoy freely. A perfect spot to enjoy with family during evenings. The area is less crowded and silent. The parking area is small. Don't expect too many shops nearby as in other beaches. Only 2 or 3 shops are available nearby.
