First of all the water was too saline. They told us that you can use any ride till 6 pm but used to halt the flow of water after few minutes. Toilet is in very poor condition. Changing room is pathetic. The overall maintenance of resort is very poor. The water rides are rusted. Breakfast served was awful, lunch was OK. I would definitely not recommend this resort for visit as per its current situation

Resort is in very bad condition. Infrastructure requires maintenance. However, the location is good. Resort is having good facilities but not in working condition and not maintain properly. The water used in swimming pool and the water in rooms both are same. Their is no sweet water even for bath purposes in rooms. Tea (30Rs) and food(300/person) quality is not good as per the cost they charge.

**Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Resort** My office team and I recently visited this resort for a team meeting, and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. Despite making reservations well in advance, the lack of preparation was evident from the moment we arrived. The resort's hygiene standards were shockingly poor, and it extended to both the accommodations and dining experience. We were greeted with a delayed and disorganized meal service, which left us waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. The conference room, which was supposed to be our workspace, was in an unsatisfactory state upon our arrival. The cleaning crew had to be called in while we stood around, wasting valuable time. The promised projector and technology setup turned out to be subpar at best, leaving us struggling to make things work on our own. The real disappointment hit when we tried to engage in outdoor activities. Most of the facilities were either closed or in such terrible condition that using them was out of the question. The wave pool, which could have been a fun experience, was marred by the presence of insects and debris floating around. The swimming pool area was no better, with ongoing labor work and a shocking lack of any filtration system. The water levels were so low that it was barely usable. It was clear that the maintenance of these facilities had been severely neglected. While the staff was polite, it was evident that they lacked proper training in customer service. Their efforts couldn't make up for the overall disappointing experience we had throughout our stay. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone to visit this resort. It's imperative that the management addresses these issues, from hygiene and facility maintenance to the training of their staff. This place sorely lacks value for money and even basic hygiene standards. I sincerely hope that the relevant authorities step in to rectify the situation before more guests have to endure such a disappointing experience.

You'll not get worth for what you have paid. The property is spacious along with good facilities but they are not maintained properly so you can just see all of them, you can't use it. Moreover, I didn't like the water of the swimming pool as it's not convenient. There is no sweet water for the bath, not even in the bathrooms.

The activities here were so good, the mini water park area and wave pool along with rain dance and all that thing was so good the mini adventure and cricket area and some of the indoor games were also good in short all the amenities were good were kids and the whole family can enjoy but the only thing that was not good was the food according to taste it was okay but the menu didn't fitted well as there was only fast food item there was no chappati and sabji for elders or kids which wasn't good at all

hotel was neat and clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was amazing and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Very nice kids play area. Best place. Highly recommendable ❤️👍

Pros: Food was delicious, (Breakfast, Lunch, evening snacks and dinner) Staffs were very friendly and great place for one day picnic for family and friends, View of river side cottage and garden is the most coolest and refreshing part of the property. Cons: Children sports activity tools are in bad shape , many rides for children's are non workable condition, Too munch rusting on toddlers sliding structure and adventure games. Also, cleaning at wash room for water activity was not good.

I went on recommendation of my friend. Huge property but poorly maintained. Electricity cuts for 2 hours on both days we stayed. Room's balcony door not locking. Hot water facility was not available. Half of the adventure were non operational. Limited breakfast options. Food quality was good. Staff was good. But maintenance was zero. Not worth the Money spent.

Stayed for a night with friends n family, will appreciate the service . Staff members are very helpful. Would like to share about the amenities. I suggest they need regular maintenance do be done in water rides, pools and other adventure activity tools. I observed that they're very poor in maintaining those things,which is essential. Overall resort has good location, fair enough food, cottages n rooms are also nice.,yeah but cottage price is high and I don't find it worth the money. Great weekend place with family n friends though.

Disappointing Resort Experience Our stay at the resort, known for its water park activities, left us quite disappointed. Unfortunately, during our visit, there were electricity supply issues, and the backup generator failed to provide power for a considerable period, affecting not only the rooms but also the entire resort. Additionally, the condition of the swimming pool was subpar, with debris floating in the water, which was quite unsightly. We even encountered a scorpion in the water park, which was a concerning safety issue. On the culinary front, the food quality and taste were disappointing, as the dishes lacked flavor and were not up to our expectations. Moreover, the promised activities that were mentioned in the resort's offerings were not operational during our stay. In summary, our experience at the resort was far from enjoyable, and it felt like a waste of both time and money. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this resort to others based on our experience

I have seen many worst reviews. But this time it was a good management at all. Clean rooms, Food test and hygiene was awesome. Mr Kevin had better understanding of Gujarati tone food. Overall it is all good this time. Mahi Gate resort is again rising... Mr Patel

The location is perfect, the stay gives us a luxurious feel. The management was humble and they are doing extra for every guest. They arranged bonfire for us when we requested. The evening near riverview was breathtaking. We have read lot of negative reviews before going, we faced some of the issues there but management able to manage the issues and the are doing their job to overcome the shortages.

Service was very good. Location is on the bank of the river. Neat and clean rooms. Need to work on taste of food.

Extremely bad experience. If you need to eat kadhi khichadi in the dinner then you are most welcome. You can get only two items in the breakfast. Food quality is very poor. Maintenance of the waterplay area is not upto the mark. Please don't visit this place with this high cost of package. We are very disappointed.

I had a great experience in this resort. Night view and common sitting area was well decorated and maintained. For childrens they have adventures activities also must try with family budget friendly also.

Walking to front desk for checkin - single staff busy with phones, took 15mints for.checkin. Booked Bathtub tent which includes everything(breakfast, lunch , high tea, Dinner) that costs me 8800 for 2 person per day. Walking into room was disaster, mosquitoes all over without mosquitoes repellent (confirmed it with front desk), room was stinking, side tables had cup marks of tea. Comforters we’re dirty and bed sheet had stains. Front desk told I will change the room for you in 2 mints, called him after 2 hours and he came to show me other tents. Other tents were more disastrous than the one I got. Water leakages, AC ain’t working & washroom had insets all over. OMG! That was awkward for me that all of their tents were in a super bad state. And then we saw 4-5 cottages which had some problem like water leakage, AC not working, dirty comforters and stained bed sheets. Finally we got one cottage whose shower room was decent C008. Though flooring was full of dust. They don’t give flip flops(bring yours). Hot water takes 15-20 mins. (Note it if you are visiting it in winter) My health literally degraded after checkin here, and after I asked for a thermometer front desk said with a smile that we don’t have it. I would like to give negative rating here as they only have cough syrup, head ache tablet in their first aid kit. Water rides and swimming pool had filthy water whose color has been changed to pale green, I would not dare to step in there. Catering staff deserves 5 stars as they are super co operative and good is 4 star.

Nice location away from city noise. Different type of rooms available, I have taken cottages because they were near by river view. Tents are also on same view, tent sizes were bigger than cottages. Water was leaking from above floor drainage line in my bathroom, bathroom cleanliness was not up to the mark. Resturant was available in house with limited menu. Adventure rides were not available, which are shown on its web site. Water rides were ON but quality of pool & water was not up to the mark. children's Swimming pool water was also not much clear for use. Positive point of this resort is availability of water rides, pool & adventure rides. Still location is under development, many kind of work is going on.

The location and the rooms are best. Staff is also very helpful. Food is delicious. Only the water rides are not well maintained. So for 1 day picnic this resort is best. But this resort is not for those who want to enjoy water rides

Pros: Huge property right on Mahi river bank. Service and staff are very good. Cons: Very very unmaintained and visibly old property and needs big time renovation. Deluxe rooms are huge but again visibly old. Food is pathetic, restaurant looks like canteen and with plastic cutlery. Menu is very very basic and minimum. Water park is dirty, water is shabby. Overall package is very costly and not worth. Overall, property is a potential wasted.

It has been a horrible stay and experience and we sincerely regret to choose the place for stay. We came with family including kids and senior citizens and the electricity went off at 2 am and there is no manager and staff at the resort to help with no one answering phones. Its been 3.5 hrs with no electricity no sleep and most annoying is only two helpers who know nothing about generator. We are still waiting all awake sitting outside for the staff to arrive at 9 am. The kitchen closes at 9 pm and the food and service has been disappointing. Only one water pool is functional with no maintenance. Other areas are non operative. The tiles and water and slides are dirty and with zero maintenance. I would like VMC authorities to visit and audit the place being run and duping customers. Please dont visit the place as it isnt worth with water activities which are none, food which is just for the sake and rooms with no service and help. No manager at the resort to provide help after 9pm. I am writing this as its now been close to 4 hrs sitting outside the cottage waiting for someone to come for electricity. Huge waste of money time and energy.

we had visited Mahi Watergate resort last month (July-2022) with friends. - Rooms were neat and clean and worth to stay. - Food and food service both was worst. Also food item too was not as per menu they send us previously.

Stay was pleasant. Staff was very cooperative n humble. Food is very good. The stayed in cottage which is very good. Still some improvement is required for the upgradation of cottage rooms. Scenic beauty and water amenities are really good

Have a mixed review to provide. Would not consider this place as a water park/ water resort. It would be incorrect to call it such. It was too small with most of the rides/ slides not working. The pool floring looked stained and dirty. Some ares of the water were stinky. We stayed there over night and hence were privilaged to swim in the residents pool which was cleaner and better where there was not much rush and the kids enjoyed. The rooms themselves were clean and staff helpful. The location was great. The only problem were the amenities. Having said that, it is still very economical and less expensive compared to other sich places.
