Very good small restaurant inside grocery store. One of the better Mexican grocery stores in region. Very nice cashier who seems to always be there. Most prices pretty reasonable as well.

Great food, plentiful and fresh. Feels like you're in a cantina in Mexico! They offer nice groceries and spices along with small selection of clothes and household items. FACTOID: it was named after the owner's daughter! Definitely a go-to when you are in Carbondale.

I know seeing a 5 star review can be detouring but I assure you this food is amazing. Their burritos are fat and filled with flavor. Plus its worth their prices if not more.

I went to SIU Carbondale until 2014, and lived right across the street from this place at the end. My friends and I went here for food all the time, and the service was always fast. I know it's been years, but I'm leaving this review because I still think about their spicy salsa verde. I have never had another that was as tasty, and I am unable to copy it at home. I live very far away from here now, but often I believe it might be worth it to go back.

This place is wonderful. They have a nice selection of specialty produce, as well as other Mexican grocery items you may not find elsewhere. Great-looking cilantro! It can be so hard to find decent cilantro sometimes. They sell the absolute best chorizo! And their lunch counter is great. Very friendly and helpful, too.
