Doctors(junior) Akhilesh and vipul are pure evil. Please be aware of them. They ill operated my uncle that he died. They're so insensitive used to talk rudely to a cancer patient without showing empathy asked him to vacate the bed when he couldn't even move that put him under a lot of stress. Didn't do dressing on him either. I'd say do not bring your loved ones here they don't treat patients well. Although the hospital is moderately clean the staff is not very cooperative or helpful. People can be seen smoking inside the hospital too.

I went this hospital for my first dose vaccination. It took 30 minutes only of waiting time duration to get vaccinated. I wanted to rate 5 star ⭐ but there are some rude gaurds in hospital who don't know where is vaccination centre in hospital, If you ask them, they may ignore you or they will misguide you.

Service of some of the department was ok but I feel that they need to make some improvement to some of the thing as washroom is not in every floor and it is in such a dirty position that made me to remind of Indian railway toilet. In some of the department doctors provide quick service but in others patient have to wait for so long that made them more angry. If you are in hurry then you may go here as service by them for patient is worthy.

The Orthopedic Department building is different. The OPD for it is also different. The overall experience was good. My friend had Achilles Tendon ruptured and the surgery for it was soon undertaken.

Nearest Metro Station is Delhi gate. No Proper parking space is there for patients. So there is NDMC parking is there which is 400m from the the Loknayak Hospital. Also no proper seating outside the OT for Patient attendants. Also construction is going on so main gate from the road is closed. The entry is from the gate of Service Lane

I had very bad experience, after thinking it to be one of the best,. Talking only about admit patient. Ventilator not available , got that in written ,due to which baby died... They wont ever refer any patient to other hospital , ispite of not having that treatment. Your patient body will be used for their junior doctors study... Bed sharing and nursery sharing with of healthy and infected baby not sure of that killing any baby.. Standard procedure followed for treatment is Doctors Visit and multiple juniors visits on daily basis.. Proper meal and medication provided on daily basis... Nurses available to look after patients..in case something goes wrong.. Patients attendant also allowed..

Located near metro Station Central, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, near Delhi Gate, LNJP Colony, New Delhi, Delhi 110002 It is centrally located and very near to both old and New Delhi railway stations and big business areas like Connaught Place and Karol Bagh. The catchments area of the hospital is very large and receive patients from not only Delhi but from neighboring states as well for example Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh. Most of the services including medicines, food, operations and admissions etc. are provided free to the patients

I went there to get my first dose of vaccination. The hospital staff was quite nice and helpful. There were a lot of volunteers. Proper social distancing was there and covid-19 protocols were followed. Apart from that, the process of getting vaccinated was carried smoothly and with proper management. It is one of the few centers that gives a fruit juice after vaccination. The hospital was hygienic and proper sanitation was being done.

Very Bad experience visiting this hospital. The only best thing is that this hospital provides everything for free, but patients are treated very badly, The staff and some doctors misbehave with poor illiterate patients and their family. The intern staff act like they are doing some favour to you and won't listen even when called multiple times no matter how serious a patient condition is. They scolded them and say leave if you don't like it. My grandmother was admitted here, they did all the tests and told us there was no infection and discharged us. Even though it was clearly visible by looking at the fistula area and puss in urin that there is infection. My patients was unconscious but still they discharged us and told us to go home. I did a test in another hospital and infections were found the infection now becomes resistant to all drugs because of their treatment. Please avoid going to this hospital.

The X-Ray facility is apathetic in Ortho Department. Over hundreds of patients, they have only one X-ray machine in the above-mentioned department. In terms of cleanliness- 3/5 The medicines which doctors prescribe are mostly available there. Please do something in the X-ray section of the ortho department.

I have been there twice as my mother had heart attack last year. Last year, the staff was good and even knowledgeable but this time they had new trainee doctors or the juniors even seniors are useless. Specially. Dr Mansi Hans, she is such a cruel and useless doctor i have even seen in my life. Three patients died in front on me and no doctor or staff was there to look after them even Dr Mansi failed to take them on time. My mother was also not treated well and she also passed away in Jan, this happened just because of the improper treatment. Dr Mansi is very careless lady i have seen in the uniform of Doctor. I dont know how she got the degree and who gave her the right to treat people with zero knowledge, she always answers in a rude way and says am a doctor please go and ask nurse for the medicines, if no one is there then she will not give you the medicine from the room because she is a doctor. Apart from this Dr Sudipto and Dr Anshul are the gems, they treated my mother best as per them but i lost her because of the careless doctor mansi and some senior useless doctors. They keep on forcing for an xray of my mother and to get this done in lab even after knowing that my mother cannot move as she is not in a very good health. I have seen many people who passed away due to careless ness of this doctor.

Worst hospital ever! rude doctors and staff. 2 gynaecologist checked me.1 was senior and other was a junior. both of them are useless. I have tb and they didn't check me, especially the junior doctor was so rude and pathetic. She needs a reality check and a tight slap. Getting a degree with 0 knowledge about anything and no humanity will not take you far . You are going to waste your time so please don't go there πŸ™

The Doctors are good in their skills. But they are not amiable to the patients. And when I was affected by jaundice and typhoid at the same time, with all my body dehydrated and imbalanced, I was sent to OPD. And I waited for 2hrs to meet the doctor and from there I was sent to Ward 26, where I had to wait for 3 hrs just for getting dripped. As there was a wheelchair, I could manage to sit for such a long time. But the medicines they prescribed are really effective.

Maintainance of cleanliness of water, toilets and wards can be improved too.All the guards in this hospital doesn't have any manners to talk. it is a government hospital in delhi.... i visited this hospital for abortion in 2020.....the queue system is very badly managed here.... no guards to manage the rowdy patients crowd.... no token system i found..... i had to stand in the queue for 6 -7 hours to reach the doctor..... if there were token system, i would have taken the token and comfortably sit anywhere..... and after spending my whole day standing, when i reached the doctor, they told me that they don't do abortion..,they are for pregnancy....now i had to come next day again to go for abortion meeting.....and next day they told me that government hospitals don't do MTP of first baby! so, i had to get it done from private clinic.....the toilets are extremely dirty and stinky as if the staff doesn't clean it for days! there are hardly any clean drinking water supply for the patients.... the government should improve these drawbacks and learn from IHBAS hospital in this regard

Lok Nayak Hospital is a medical centre for Noval Corona virus treatment. Delhi government has set a great standards of cleanliness, sensitisation and providing all medical requirements for absolute free cost. Hospital provides a waiting room for outsiders with washroom facilities and RO water for free. It is a blessing in disguise.

I think this is the best government hospital that I know. For NEW πŸ†•PATIENT You should enter from gate no. 4 for the new OPD. There are seven floors in the building of the new OPD. This building is equipped with a lift and two stairs. There are no facilities for online OPD registration. Keep these things for registration at OPD. 1) Mobile number 2) Aadhar Card But you have to wait a lot here; if you come here, you have to lose half of the day. But it is not a new thing for government hospitals.

My experience at lok Nayak hospital is not too bad. It is around 2:30 at night and I asked the guard on 4 fourth floor where is toilet and he replied on 3rd floor and when I go to 3rd floor they denied in very cruel way and at a second i confused is they are talking to a human being. I am just asked them where is toilet, they said on 1st floor. They have no respect... But at the end I would like to say that that is my experience and may be someone get good response here from various staff( surgeon, doctors, nurse, pharmaceuticals, etc.) Thanks. And the condition of toilet is where poor...even they have no water to wash your hands...

I went to get the rabies vaccine. Crowd control was literally non-existent. It seemed like no one had a clue what to do at the hospital, including the doctors, the receptionists, the guards etc. It was complete chaos. I didn’t realize it was a government hospital. I should have gone to some good private hospital instead. A few times, I contemplated just giving up and going somewhere else to get my shot. It was that bad.

The facilities are really good considering it is a government hospital, cleanliness and hygiene can be clearly visible. The best part is that patients don't need to wait a lot for the treatment unlike other government hospitals. I would definitely recommend having a visit to the hospital instead of waiting endlessly in the queue.

Being a student at campus this place is great and offers quality treatment , tests and medicine. They also let Delhi resident DAK SERVICE if the waiting period is too long for surgery and radiological tests. All the Doctors are very skilled and understand the issues of patients both medical and financial restrictions for treatment but waiting is too long for general public.

Worst hospital that can be imagined. You will get more sick if you want to get treatment from here. Staff is rude that will often misguide you about where to go. Long waiting hours whether you want to get opd paper made or you want to go into doctors room or you want to get medicines from pharmacy. Even Cheap investigations like usg date is given for 7-8 months and mri date date... Not earlier than 2.5-3 years. Their labs are highly inefficient and reports are very easily misplaced. Poor management across all departments. Also they have a rule of dispensing medicines for not more than 2 weeks. People come here from far away places and such rules only create a large burden of patients who just come to repeat their medicines. It is troublesome both for patients and hospital management but they don't consider changing such rules. Better chose other hospitals like RML, Safdarjung, GTB where everything works in a systematic way.

Lok Nayak HospitalΒ (Hindi:Β ΰ€²ΰ₯‹ΰ€• ΰ€¨ΰ€Ύΰ€―ΰ€• ΰ€…ΰ€Έΰ₯ΰ€ͺΰ€€ΰ€Ύΰ€²) formerly known as Irwin Hospital till November 1977 then changed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in the honor ofΒ Jayaprakash Narayan, the famous Indian independence activist and politician. It is maintained and runs under the Health and Family Welfare Department,Β Government of Delhi. The history of Lok Nayak Hospital traces back to the British India when the Central Jail Complex was made to change to a hospital under the then Viceroy of IndiaΒ Lord Irwin. It's foundation stone was laid on 10 January 1930 and underΒ Lt. Col. CruickshankΒ in 1936 this Central Jail Complex was commissioned to Irwin Hospital. At that time it was 350 bedded hospital but after the 1947 independence of India there was a sudden rise in the need of more beds as there was an influx of population in form of refugees from neighboring countries and states. In November 1977, Irwin Hospital's name was changed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital and again in 1989 the name was changed from Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital to Lok Nayak Hospital. But still the hospital is largely known by its old name Irwin Hospital.

One of the famous hospitals in India. Which is located in New Delhi and works under Delhi Government. This hospital is for almost every kind of diseases. Hospital is capable enough to deal with all types of patients with small and serious illness simultaneously. Adequate medical caring staff and reasonable priced. Most of the services are free. Good initiative by government of India

  • 4/5 Prince J. 1 year ago on Google
Well this hospital serves as a helping hand to bigger and important hospitals like AIIMS and safdarjung. Doctors there are good enough to understand your concern. Infrastructure as compared to other hospitals is far better. OPD lines and medicine lines too have more windows making it easier for all. If you are going for the first time then take Exit gate number 3 of Delhi gate metro station and turn left and walk nearly 100m till Gate number 2 of loknayak hospital. For new patients OPD facilities are here from gate no.2 ( incase of older gate no.4) Once you get your OPD done you can go to the respective room for the issue ( They have 4 lifts facilities so you can avail yourself such facilities) For the medicine of skin you have to be in line at the same floor (7th i guess). Well if you are not a resident of Delhi then it's very difficult to get your ultrasound done as the token number is pathetic and will be time consuming. For a delhi resident always carry your voter card with you it will help you there for getting a quick ultrasound approval. Some often complains about the guards but i didn't find them annoying unless you irritate them by doing something which they keep on asking not to do, so just go to them and ask them gently and calmly they will definitely guide you.

It's a tertiary care hospital. Everything is available Free of Cost! but it is expensive since the load is pretty high.

Worst experience, No regards for the patients, JRs are using patients as guinea pigs and doing their experiments and research, that too without consent. High time government take some measures, it is understood that these type of institutions are meant for study and research purposes but forcefully making patients give their samples and then denying the reports, showing fake Admissions , no treatment, is absolutely pathetic .

Worst experience of my life, I lost my mother because of unprofessional behaviour of doctors and they ill treated her so that she died, please don't take your serious patients there because there were only interns to attend your patient who are not capable to understand there condition, My mother was serious and there was no ICU bed available. No doctor came to see my mother a whole night. There is no facility for serious patients, Some Doctors have bad attitude, they never talk politely specially Dr Mansi, Dr dheeraj (general medicine department), They think of themselves superior and treat patients like a trash, They forcely sent my mother to get operated while she was not stable, her condition even got worse because of that, I will never forgive them, My mother was transferred from ward 29 to 32 and instead of admitting her they were arguing in between for approximately 3 hours and did not paid attention on her health.

Dr.Abhishk doesn't know how to talk to the patient he is very rude and doesn't have the manners to talk to anyone he doesn't deserve to be called a doctor. A patient in a hospital where there is a doctor like Abhishek can never recover Abhishek's duty is on ward number 27. Please take a serious action and mostly The people in the hospital should talk about the fact that there is absolutely no etiquette. The condition of this hospital is very bad staff of Loknayak Hospital will have to be changed please take serious action
