It is not only an institute but also a training institute for officers also under CISF security. For students this institute is running two courses M.A criminology and M.Sc Forensic Science. This institute works under M.H.A and the head of the institute is Director (IPS).

. This institute offers training to senior officers from police,prisons and judiciary. They also conduct PG course in criminology and forensic science within the campus.Place is under tight security and not open to public.Been there in 2006 for a training. Everything about the place is superb except the training sessions. Trainers usually start in English and switch over to Hindi within five minutes since they are more comfortable in Hindi making trainees from non Hindi speaking states dumb witnesses. If you point out this they usually snub you .

Premier institute in India for having professional studies on forensic science and criminology. Faculty is well experienced and the campus is although not that vast but well equipped with all needs. Library is having good collection. Canteen can be better. No wi-fi even in today's modern world. Lab is having good and quality instruments required to have at one of this kind.

It's an institution of National Importance under MHA. Very nice campus. Only issue is the entrance which almost blocked by the metro work in front of the campus.

I think management of this hospital have to be improved because there is very slow management in registration and so much crowd... But Dr.s of this hospital are good and very polite and their staff is also good.
