Stopped in here as needed to do some work (online). Was pleased to find a quiet cafe advertising free WiFi on the door. WiFi didn’t work at all. Coffee was okay but overpriced. Complete waste of time and money.

Had tasty jacket potatoes and toastie. Lots of cheese in toastie but the eater seemed happy! Prices not bad.

Came here for coffee but ended up having lunch. The cafe was clean,tidy the staff all had a smile on their faces 😀 well done guys thank you.

Basic food, service friendly but very slow, WiFi not working, kids lunchbox items missing. Overall, a substandard experience. Fine on a quiet day if you're looking for something super simple, but otherwise, there are much nicer options around.

Had a cheese and ham panini, very nice, served with salad and crisps. Looked so nice my husband had the same when he arrived.

I didn't have any food here so can not comment on the food. I decided to have a coffee with my grandad which was very nice indeed. I found the older workers here more friendly than the younger ones but maybe that's cause they more shy and don't like to talk to customers. I don't understand why the bad reviews for coffee being over priced as I found it quite reasonable. We shall definitely be back for a coffee they also have a good choice of cakes snacks and food all reasonably priced and they also sell trainers I believe for girls and women only but I could be wrong. A great cafe to stop in while u are waiting on a bus.

Cakes at this cafe are amongst the best in town. All home made and fresh. Tea and coffee also outstanding but I have to say the cakes are a particular highlight after frequenting all the other coffee shops around Torquay. Staff are friendly and shop is always very clean. The WiFi works very well. Shop is quite small but as it’s tucked away in St Marychurch it’s never too busy to find a table. I would rate this cafe as one of the best in Torquay.

Lovely clean n comfy stay effeciant but not terribly friendly or engaging unless your known to them. Coffee good - cakes fresh.

Unfriendly staff ,and the place is filthy dirty ,especially the fridge were they keep fresh salad ,absolutely filthy ,3 women working here ,hanging around taking, when tables and cleaning needs doing, the preparation area is filthy ,all the chopping boards have dirt on them and lots of dirt and crumbs under were there kept ,want be eating here ,coffee was good thou

The Bamboo Cafe is our favorite cafe in St Marychurch. It and its staff's support were paramount to our passage through the Covid lockdowns. The food and beverages are excellent and good value for money. Overall a 10 out 10. Thank you!
