Make no mistake, you do NOT want to have IMED as your healthcare provider if you are dying and need emergency assistance from a phone number that claims to be active 24/7 but is infact inactive after 28 phone calls over two days (see the video I posted on here of what happens when you try to call the emergency number given on the website). You do NOT want to have IMED as your healthcare provider if you urgently require the results of an analysis (including one for COVID-19 during a global pandemic wherein all 4 hand sanitizer stations on the way into the hospital are empty). You do NOT want IMED as your healthcare provider if you need a vaguely accurate diagnostic for your mild condition and would prefer that the doctors don't tell you there is a chance you have a debilitating disease after a simple look at your skin days before any tests can be conducted. And least importantly from this list, you do NOT choose IMED as a healthcare provider if you are looking for a reasonably average market price for anything. Do not be fooled by the shiny tiles and flashy glass walls for this is all a front for a completely incompetent organisation. If you are a tourist and need urgent medical help, find places closer in town such as Quirón hospital or even Sanitas clinic for fast and cheap lab analysis results. If you live locally, I cannot urge you enough to quit giving these people money if all it's doing is polishing the floors, shining the windows and filling shareholder's pockets.

IMED Valencia is a disgrace! One star is already too much. Medical care far below average, nurses completely indifferent and careless. Doctors hardly had any time and didn’t listen properly. The only one who ever showed some empathic sense, was the cleaning lady. The intravenous line in my arm was blocked for a whole night, which left me with a terrible headache. According to the nurse this was because I hadn’t held my arm stretched during the night, but two hours later it turned out that the line had been accidentally blocked by the nurse the night before. They didn’t check me regularly, I felt complete neglected. They gave me NOLOTIL by infusion although I told them that it made me feel worse. Only after my husband found out that it should not be given to patients from North Europe and patients with immune problems like me, they agreed to stop it. These are only examples, I could go on like this for a while. The food was disgusting and one time they even forgot to bring breakfast. This hospital seems mainly interested in moneymaking. It was a horrible experience. Better avoid it!

Nicely equipped, very unprofessional staff. I needed an IV treatment and literally had to tell the nurses what to do. Luckily nothing bad happened and i didn't need real help from them . I felt very unsafe when I saw they didn't know what to do. Some of the doctors are very unethical. They simply refused to hear what i was saying. All they care about is money, but fail to provide the services even after you have paid. I really don't care that most don't speak English. It's not about the language but rather medical expertise. As for it being like a 5 star hotel. I'm not going there for a vacation. I need hospital, doctors, nurses, not a vacation rental.

I was in for two nights and three days for a hip replacement and aftercare. Service was second to none throughout. The operation went smoothly, we had a comfortable, single patient room, good food (patient only), kind caring staff, comprehensive information, en-suite shower room and a sofa bed next to me for my wife. Many staff spoke English so communication was not an issue, especially as we did our best to speak in Spanish as well.

This hospital professes to have the newest tech, but it in the end it just doesn't work. It's impossible to communicate with doctors, get timely follow up appointments or understand anything about your care. Even the fancy system to manage the queue never works and the doctors themselves complain about how bad it is. The doctors are generally good but since they are so inaccessible, it is impossible to get good care. I received instructions to book a follow up appointment in a month but wasn't able to schedule one until four months later so I had to go elsewhere for care and start the process all over again. Ridiculous

(Translated by Google) Our experience has been for a cosmetic surgery operation, paid in full in cash. The surgeon, a 10, staff outside the hospital. The room was really very comfortable, spacious and with a double room, if it weren't for the bad smell of pipes, it would have been great. The plant staff, disastrous, you can now ring the bell, which literally took 47 minutes to assist us on one occasion and half an hour the other two times. Luckily the patient was not dying, if not, she stays there. Now, we are not going to talk about the empathy and ways of the staff. It is a hospital, which I really do not recommend to anyone, the night costs € 980 When in hotels of € 40 a night they have treated us with more affection and education than here.

(Translated by Google) For some time I have been treating myself in this hospital for migraines in the neurology service. Today, February 11, 2021 I had a check-up at 10 am. I arrived at the hospital at 9:55. First I found saturation in the elevators and then when I got to the 7th floor, I had to queue for a long time to reach the counter. When that happened, it was approx. 10:20. I went to the office door. On the exterior display, I marked my number as the next patient to attend. While I was there waiting, two more patients arrived. My surprise was when Dr. L. Pérez decided to delete my number and attend to the other people. I understood that perhaps he would have assumed that I had been late 20 and went into consultation to tell him. She would not listen to me and simply told me that it was the turn of the next patient who, to make matters worse, was in the bathroom thinking that it was not yet her turn. Such was the embarrassment that even those who waited told me that they didn't care what had happened because I was there before. I then went to the counter, where the girl at the front desk treated me badly and simply told me to stand aside and go to the patient care desk for complaints. There, another girl, in this case very friendly, attended to me and told me that she would contact the doctor, persuading me to wait before filing a formal complaint. I had to leave because I had to work and, predictably, hours have passed and the doctor and all the hospital staff have given me silence for an answer. In this case, they have not even sent me the email to assess the attention received. I think this is not the proper way to proceed. Even if I was 20 minutes late this is not the way to proceed. I have never been received at my time due to a delay from the doctor, because the previous consultation was extended or, as on one occasion, because, after a consultation, the doctor had to make a phone call. In none of those circumstances did I complain, thinking that you have to be considerate, we never know what the circumstances of others are. That is what was lacking with me today, first from the neurologist and then from one of the receptionists. A hospital that claims to be a benchmark in Valencia cannot afford these situations. You must ensure that your staff is exquisite with patients and, above all, during peak hours, you must implement measures so that going up to the seventh floor does not take 10 minutes and, if this happens, not acting as they have acted with me because that does not it was my responsibility.

This has been the worst medical experience of my life. They have been unresponsive, dismissive and even rude. After an initial visit, my wife's symptoms got worse. It has taken 10 phone calls and 10 emails to get any kind of response. Our doctors said they would respond to emails. They did not. Another said to call. No response. Follow ups could only be scheduled 6 weeks down the line. I genuinely believe this experience has worsened my wife's health. She needed attention and instead has been forced to deal with it. We are now looking into other treatment locations.

So I’ve been a patient of theirs for two years, since I moved to Valencia. In general it’s a decent hospital with up-to-date technology, however they claim it’s a hospital for foreign patients, unfortunately I have had unpleasant situations with doctors and nurses due to being a foreigner. My Spanish is not the best (I’m still learning) but I try to speak in Spanish with them, however the amount of times I’ve been looked down upon because I’m not Spanish is just insane. I’ve had doctors laugh at my Spanish and say things quietly about why I’m here in front of me. If you have a foreigner-friendly hospital I would kind-of expect the doctors to act a bit more professional in front of the foreign patients but that’s just not the case here, not to mention they ignore you when you try to explain your symptoms because your spanish is a bit broken. Not only that but they can be physically more harsher to you. A lady in the X-ray part of the hospital was doing a mammogram on my mum and she kept pushing a shoving my mum into the machine, she had bruises over her whole chest because of this. We wanted to complain but nobody would listen to us! Not to mention with our Spanish😪. If you’re a foreigner, I suggest you try Benidorm or their Alicante hospital because you will not be welcomed here well sadly.

Very disappointed. The hospital claims that they are foreigners friendly and their doctors can communicate in English. That's one of the main reasons why I chose this hospital and I went there several times for different departments. There was only a few doctors who really tried to talk with me. Most of the times, doctors didn't speak English, not necessarily because they cannot do English but they didn't want to. Moreover, there were doctors who prescribed NOLOTIL without telling me any information of warning issued by Spanish health authority. Last but not least, my blood test result contained an error which they did not notice until I pointed it out. My understanding is that you pay for private care because you know you're paying for good care. But here, this seems to be different.

(Translated by Google) My daughter took a test on Monday February 15th and is still waiting for the results. There is no way to contact you by phone, and when they catch you they don't know how to give you a satisfactory answer and to top it all today the young lady who has answered you has literally hung up the phone. It is incredible that with so much propaganda they do, customer service is so dire. My daughter certainly doesn't come back and neither do we.

Was waiting for my appointment 50 min and left cause it was still two people before me. Lost half it my working day for nothing. Moreover, organization is extremely bad, huge lines on the reception with one person working. I would not recommend this hospital.

This hospital used to be very good. For the past year any doctor we have seen is so rushed we barely have time to explain or receive help. My son was told he needed two prescriptions last visit, but the doctor was so rushed she forgot to write either. She also told us he needed to see the dermatologist, but for the past 4 months there has not been a single appointment available. We had an appointment for an ear nose throat specialist and they cancelled it a week before. The staff seems unhappy, and the overall cleanliness has also gone downhill. What is going on IMED?? We just had to go back to have analytics done and every part of this hospital is awful. They do not care about their patients in anyway. Don’t go here. Only giving one star because it won’t post with less.

(Translated by Google) I go to a gynecological check-up and they take a sample to do a culture. The surprise comes when the results state that the sample has not been sent. I contact the hospital and they tell me they will talk to the lab and get in touch with me. After 10 days without receiving any response, I contact them again. They tell me that there has been an error and that I have to return to have a sample taken (to go to gynecology again and say what happened). I tell him that I live in another community, let him tell me what happened, where the error has been and who else I can talk to. The aforementioned tells me that I have to go back to gynecology. Bad management and bad solutions. Little professionalism and empathy with the client. A year ago something similar happened to me with a blood sample. Maybe you should check the staff they have hired or the laboratory as it lacks respect and professionalism.

(Translated by Google) I do a PCR test on Thursday, I do not receive any results ... I try to contact the hospital through several phone numbers, only one of which I receive a response, which informs me that my sample does not appear and what to see if there is a possibility of doing it again. In the face of amazement and doubt, I appear at the Hospital (15km from my home) and my surprise is that they inform me that my sample has gone to the Elche laboratory and that they managed several samples, several samples were released due to "computer error". them, one of them being mine ... And the most amazing thing is that they tell me the result without presenting me the report, that I wait until Monday ... By this I mean that this was a bad experience and that if this happens to you any of those who read this review, do not hesitate to request a claim. (Translated by Google) AWFUL ATTENTION! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU GO TO DO A PCR! THEY CONFUSED MY SAMPLE WITH ANOTHER PATIENT'S AND THEY DID NOT RETURN MY MONEY OR REPEAT IT AT NO COST !! My experience: I went for a PCR test and two of their toilets mistaken my sample with that of another patient (they put my sample in the other patient's sample collection tube). I obtained a positive result in PCR and negative in the antigen test, I went to the hospital the next day to explain the situation and the customer service manager gave me an unprofessional and inadmissible solution, removing responsibility from the hospital for the failure that was committed. The solution they gave me was: that I pay another 120 euros and that if I then gave the negative test, they would refund the money. But knowing how little care they had taken the first time with my sample, I was 0 confident that the second result they gave me was conclusive; and I think that the solution they gave me was not very empathetic and that they wanted to remove the problem quickly. I went to have another PCR test done that same day at another center, and I tested negative. I have sent an email to IMED, I put a claim form, I have called twice claiming the money, and the solution they give me is to go in person to claim again (and knowing how things are, instead of exposing myself, they should sort things out over the phone). I still have no response to the complaint and the mail, and I will go in person, but I doubt they will give me a solution.

Looks like a modern center, but it is badly managed causing queues at every step including elevators. I had a relatively simple umbilical hernia surgery, but "enjoyed" infection and opening of the wound. I had to visit nursery 20 times and could never find out who performed the surgery. Eventually, I needed another surgery just 6 months later.

I had a private operation and...it was amazing! All very private and personalized. Even the anesthetist came to explain the procedure to me in the room, which was amazing, with a room for family members. Of course, my husband had surgery with Adeslas, things changed. Everyone in a room to enter the operating room, not even in the SS. Huge lines for everything. Nobody informed us absolutely how the intervention was going. A disaster. Here, if you don't spend the money, like good customers of any large company, the treatment is very different. I won't use it anymore!

This is the worst private hospital I have ever been to. My mother first enter the emergency room with signs of a stroke, she was sent home after initial screen accredited to a pinched nerve on her neck. Two days later she was re admitted bvia emergency services only to find she had a cancerous tumor in her head, after a week of waiting for senseless screening, conversations with doctors she spent a week without medicines or clear direction. We had to take her out to go to LA Fe who took care of all imideatley without any issues. If she continued in Imed she would have died due to negligence. Lack of empathy, lack of resources and trained staff also makes this the worst possible place to go for emergencies. This place is a joke. Not worth it.

I have already had one of these tests that we can classify as "unpleasant" and everything has gone well, but in the last one everything changed, after that, my life has never been the same. I think I'm traumatized. The test itself was a colonoscopy, as you can imagine. Well, a girl in training gives me the route, and she has to puncture me 3 times, without problems, she is learning and for my sake she can puncture me as many times as necessary, I wish her good luck and may she be the best at her job, But when I enter the operating room and before going to sleep, the doctor tells me that she is going to do a rectal examination...can't she wait to go to sleep? Without inviting me for a drink or a few minutes of conversation, he stuck his middle finger into me with the strength of a professional masseuse, an elite climber, or a baker. They immediately put me to sleep. It was necessary? Do you have any resentment towards men? Since that moment I have never been the same.

One is already beginning to be fed up with despots and bad professionals. Today with the doctor specializing in Urology has been more typical of a House episode than a medical consultation. I have been courteous, understanding and kind because I do treat others with respect and give them the attention they need, but from now on I am a losing customer in this department.

The hospital was perfect but the treatment with the gallant doctor in thoracic surgery was painful. He sends me an echo, a CAT scan and an MRI. The echo already said it was a lipoma. Same as in CT and MRI. to end up telling me yesterday that it was a lipoma without looking at my face in the 3 consultations..... he doesn't know if I am Chinese, black, white, what little empathy... painful!!! 3 consultations and I can't look at my face!!!! If you don't feel like working, retire... many thanks to the other professionals at this wonderful hospital 🏥 👌

(Translated by Google) I have had an appointment for a follow-up pregnancy control and I was very negatively surprised when I asked to have the ECO done in 3D and they told me that it was not available at that consultation. Honestly from a new hospital I expected that option and it does not seem correct that if I have to do this in the next office I have this possibility and in the one that I have not had today, mainly because I pay the same in one as in another. In addition, they send you an online report, which is fine, but it does not include even a photo of the ultrasound, I see the service can be quite improved.

(Translated by Google) Good morning, you have to be more aware of what results you send, on Monday, February 8, my husband takes the antigen test and the results that they sent him were not his, and dated 12/17/2020. On Tuesday the 9th we had to repeat the test and do the PCR, they were shown the ticket showing that he was traveling on Wednesday the 10th. Once at the airport, at check-in they tell us that the PCR works but the test is not valid, that it has To be done 4 hours before the trip, we had to run to take the test again, and pay again, and return to the airport in less than an hour; generating great stress on us because they do not report, knowing that the antigen test must be carried out before the flight, although it is a new rule, many people had already arrived in that week that the same thing happened to them. Americans avoid!!!! The front desk in the urgency were so nice and helpful. However, the doctor spoke almost no English, was very rude, didn’t ask any questions and just prescribed antibiotics without asking any other medication I was on. Had he asked he would have known that antibiotics cannot be taken with other medications I was on. Try and find a better hospital!

The low ratings by Brits and Americans tells you everything. It's a great facility, but whiny westerners that expect everyone to speak English perfectly and service them as colonial masters are a bit disappointed despite the fact they'd pay twice as much for equal service back home. Daughter got her arm emergency casted here. Several PCR and antigen tests. Wife had multiple OBGYN appoinents. Son had minor surgery. Wife had a lump removed. There were some bumps along the way, but that's normal for healthcare. I pay €250/month for the whole family and never paid out of pocket. If you can find better, message me.

At around 11 a.m. today, we went to the front desk to make an appointment. After waiting in line for 5 minutes, Ms. Noelia directly told me she doesn't speak English and asked me to go to the opposite counter. Although I was surprised because Google Translate was available, I still went to the other counter as instructed. The lady at the opposite counter seemed very unhappy and told me to go back to the previous counter. I mentioned that Ms. Noelia asked us to come to her, but she remained angry and asked if it was our first visit. I don't understand why she was so angry as we did nothing wrong. After checking her computer, she said she couldn't schedule an appointment for us and only spoke in Spanish, refusing to communicate in English. I tried to use Spanish Google Translate on my phone to help, but she completely ignored me and walked away, slamming our medical cards on the table, asking us to go back to the other counter. It was extremely rude. She understood everything I said in English and we have google translate also. She acted like she didn’t speak any English, but her colleague told me that she spoke English very well. And we can use the google translate anyway. Being such a beautiful and well-designed international hospital, does it mean that patients who don't speak Spanish can't receive medical treatment? We had to wait for another 10 minutes in the queue. During that time, I saw Ms. Noelia using Google Translate to communicate with other patients for scheduling purposes. I wonder why she didn't do the same for us. When it was finally our turn, she continued speaking only in Spanish and called her colleague to translate for us. All we wanted was to make a simple appointment, and Google Translate could have easily helped us understand each other. Why did these two front desk employees treat us this way? I hope the hospital management will strengthen the awareness of patient service. When patients are already feeling unwell, being treated this way at the hospital is very upsetting and unreasonable.

I was operated at the IMED Valencia this week. My surgeon was Dr. Lucas Minig who did an excellent job! I was able to go home the same day of my surgery (hysterectomy) almost without pain and feeling great. Dr. Minig not only is an amazing professional, but also a wonderful human being. I cannot recommend him highly enough for any woman who needs a gynecological procedure. My experience at IMED Valencia has been excellent as well. The hospital is very modern and efficiently organized. Rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the attention provided by the nurses has been excellent. Throughout the whole process, starting at preoperative examinations, through admission and surgery until my discharge, I felt very well taken care of at all times.

I've been calling all day to make an appointment and they don't answer the phone. In the app, most of the doctors have everything booked until December. Halfway through my pregnancy I changed hospitals because I made an appointment and they canceled it the day before I went.

It’s very sad when you arrive with some issue like hurt leg to Urgencia and wait in the same queue with people with cold/flu. In result- have also cold. It’s so simple to understand after covid: need to have different places for waiting for health people and people with cold/flu to avoid new pandemic.

Having turned up at the Urgencia department on a Saturday morning with a very painful eye infection I could not believe how swiftly I was attended to. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and made things easier as they spoke English (I am learning Spanish but still not proficient enough to have such a conversation), the Doctor did not speak English but with Google translate we managed with lots of laughter and mutual patience.

NO VAYÁIS!!!!!!!

I asked in the emergency room if there was a derma service and they told me that the emergency doctor treats me first and if they consider it they refer me ... Went to a consultation and was told it costs 90€, but that I can pay 40€ extra, in case I needed an ultrasound. If the doctor says you dont need it right now, they allegedly will give you the money back. So the doctor tells me I need it. I go to the reception to ask for an ultrasound appointment (that I already paid for) and she tells me to pay another €120, stating that those extra 40€ were if I had the ultrasound done IN THE DOCORS OFFICE. But if it is outside his office (in the sane hospital), you need to pay again. Yes, you read it correctly. The girls in the reception (Anastasia and Emma) are underqualified for their job and do not posess the nessesary information to appear smart or helpful. Yeah, go there if you absolutely need to, it looks like a Marriot hotel, but it's full of scams. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Worst hospital to go to if you’re actually sick and need treatment. The doctors hate working there and they make it pretty clear. It’s impossible to get a hold of your doctor once you’ve seen them as they never respond to emails and there’s no way to leave them messages or have them call you back to discuss results. This makes it so if you get lab/ultrasound etc results back and there is something wrong, you enter a black hole of lack of communication as the only way to get an answer about anything is to make another appointment and some doctors are booked out a month or more in advance. Their technology is also a joke! The doctors themselves complain about the glitches in the patient check in system and lab results not uploading as they should. If it’s not already upsetting to be sick, IMED makes you even more exhausted as you have to battle every step of the way for help and answers.

We spent two hours waiting in 'Urgencias', staring at the appointment screen (no audio alerts), which showed irritating and inappropriate underwear ads on a loop. When we finally saw a doctor for just 10 minutes, they checked my wife's temperature, blood pressure and oxygen level, all of which we had already done at home. Also her urine (normal, they said). She was dispatched with a flu (gripa) diagnosis, told to drink lots and take paracetamol. I'm no doctor, but without a fever, it can't be influenza. In any case, off we went home and flew back to Palma in the evening, my wife still feeling pretty weak and poorly. Two days later, she is on a drip in QuironSalud, having been diagnosed with a severe chest and lung infection, plus infection in her urine. Perhaps we were unlucky with a hapless doctor, but we'll never return to IMED again. Completely incompetent.

I think all the negative reviews are from snobby foreigners who expect too much. IMed IS IN SPAIN and almost all staff SPEAK SPANISH. And their culture and manners ARE DIFFERENT, giving us the perspective that they are rude. But they are actually nice people that are way more advanced and experienced in the medical field compared many to countries like Ireland. They did surgery for us in a month and could have done it earlier if wanted. This is compared to the at least 4 years waiting in Ireland. The place at IMed is incredibly clean and modern. It doesn't look like a dump like the many hospitals I've been to back home. And our doctor in Spain showed he wanted to help us. Many Irish doctors wanted to avoid us because they are not as qualified and didn't know what was wrong with us. And in ireland we've waited in the hospital for over 12 hours through the night waiting to be seen in AnE after bloods were taken to be told later that the blood congealed and we needed more blood taken. My experience in IMed has been surprisingly amazing and have been way beyond my expectation. For those whining and expect too much: don't come to Spain or use IMed then. Go back to your country and stick with your doctors there.

Like all Hospitals, it has its lights and shadows. In Emergencies they have always attended to us quite quickly, although we have gone for things that are not very urgent. On this last occasion, the child was admitted to us. The 2 pediatricians and the nurse who treated us in the emergency room explained everything to us very well and were very close, a 10. The nurse had a lot of work, it would be nice if he had some reinforcement. In the pediatric ward, the rooms are large, beautiful, very good. The food leaves something to be desired, as it was not the most recommended for a small child (they have served the same as adults). They didn't have bottles or wipes, and the first night they left us diapers until we went home to get "materials." That seems wrong to me. Furthermore, the child has a special milk and since we did not give us anything similar, they gave him infusions for breakfast (at 2 years old...). So we have had to provide diapers, wipes, a bottle and powdered milk. On the other hand, for family members: the hospital cafeteria has few offerings and closes very early and you can only get cold sandwiches from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. (when it closes). The best: the staff. The close people who explain things to you and support you are what I remember best. There is always someone who goes their own way, but like everywhere. The facilities look like a hotel, very nice. The worst: we have left the same or worse than when we were admitted (the tests attest to this) and due to stagnation of the situation and arguing with the doctor, they have discharged us. At least they have done tests until we can get him seen by a specialist who can give him the appropriate treatment, but the final sensation is a bad taste: we have been there for several days without improving. On another occasion we went to a rapid intervention scheduled for an adult, and everything was very good: waiting times, attention, delivery of information, room to "wake up" (she was discharged after a few hours)...

The specialists inside are very professional. But the other day, due to a bureaucratic problem, I paid 70 euros for a session with the psychologist for less than 30 minutes when normally it is 1 hour. I should have filed a complaint at the time when the woman at the reception wouldn't let me in because there was a long line. It's not my problem that they had a lack of staff at that time and I had to wait half an hour until they attended to me. In fact, the psychologist came out asking please to let me in and that she would make the payment later, since she was also a very regular client/patient. And I went private, paying for everything at my own expense. But not even with those. The people who let me in were kinder than the Imed staff themselves.

The hospital is easy to get to. It is new and very clean. The systems work really well if you have the patience to work through the clunky process, once you know it working with them is a breeze. They have a number of disciplines in one place so easy to get stuff done with one visit. I took the number 4 tram and then it is a nice 8 minute leisurely walk to the hospital.

  • 1/5 Ana G. 3 years ago on Google

(Translated by Google) If someone believes in miracles, they should meet Dr. D. GUILLERMO VALLS GAMBAU, internist at IMED Valencia. First of all, my thanks to the entire medical team of the Hospital, to the nurses, nursing assistants, especially from the third floor, orderlies, cleaning team, kitchen and management, for all the work well done, for the kindness, the professionalism, for the care, in short for everything. But above all and all my sincere admiration and my gratitude to Dr. Guillermo Valls Gambau, obviously for his professionalism that no one will ever be able to question, because if there is someone who is involved with his patients it is him, he never leaves a loose end and tries to improve himself with each patient, but above all, for the extras he has, for his kindness, his empathy, his desire to fight for you and for him, his dedication, his know-how and being, there are so many adjectives that I would put it because he deserves it and he has it, he would need sheets and sheets to write them. He has been my angel, the one who has managed to bring me up when our paths crossed and it was not easy for me with the medical staff that I had. I will never, ever, ever be able to thank you for helping me so much and in every way in this second chance that life has given me. Thank you Guillermo, truly and from the heart and you know it.

It is expensive, yes, but it was the only place that gave us extended hours, immediate appointment and results even on the weekend. We arrived before our appointment and it was empty, it was before eight o'clock in the morning and still, they have attended us. So if anyone is afraid when reading comments like we did, I hope they stay calmer when reading my opinion, even at Christmas they were hyper saturated ...

For the rest of the best. Por el resto de lo mejor.

Disappointed! 260(110 examination+80 for specific results +70 For receiving the reply of tests) for a gynecological examination and the results will take 5 weeks!! That is unacceptable considering that it's a private hospital.

Went to “emergency”. Wife is pregnant with sharp stomach pain. They send us downstairs, we wait for 40 min. I ask the nurse, we came for an emergency, it’s been 40 min! She was extremely rude and lacked empathy. I went back upstairs. The receptionist offered a refund and told me to go somewhere else because THERE WAS ONLY ONE DOCTOR IN THE WHOLE HOSPITAL. This place should be closed. It’s not Urgencias. Humiliating, undignified, disrespectful, unprofessional, inhumane, profit-driven, I could go on and on. Avoid at all costs. La Fe is a million times better and free if you pay seguridad social.

I visit a doctor and payed for the visit, during the visit doctor took some análisis and told me that the results will be in 3-4 weeks. In a 2 days the reception from this clinic called me and told that they didn’t sent my analysis to the Laboratory because they wanted me to pay for it. Come on, guys, I pay 109 euros, why didn’t you tell me that I should pay a bit more? And the worse is that now it’s impossible to make the test because it’s after 24 hours, they proposed me to come and do this análisis again, and again pay for the doctor’s visit. Never visit this clinic again, waist my time and money!

I went to IMED hospital with RA and a positive Covid test, Wednesday sept 21st. I asked for an English speaking doctor but no one could speak English. Was put on an intravenous drip in a freezing room alone for over an hour. Was sent home with antibiotics, even though I had terrible diarrhea, nolotil which has controversy around it, and ventolin. Today am feeling pretty bad, but this hospital am reluctant to go back to.

Its a very slick set up and most of the doctors and staff in general are very professional and helpful. I dont however understand the system of having to make another follow up booking to get feedback from your doctor. its time consuming and wastes time, especially if you need urgent feedback. Very long and drawn out process. Medical insurance could be saved a lot of money if we could just get verbal feedback, or even a quick email. Trudging back and forth to the hospital every time is expensive and time consuming and often without any direction as to whats happening.

I don't understand why this hospital has such bad reviews. I have never experienced anything like this place in my life. It is like a 5 star hotel. UNBELIEVABLE experience. I can't believe places like this exist. Amazing amazing amazing ...staff, services, doctors, rooms, top class!!!

I would like to thank all the emergency staff where I came with my 8 year old daughter two weeks ago with severe inflammation. Everything was very well organized from the blood test, ecography, KT to our hospitalisation. Within a few hours it was decided to do the operation and after the operation we stayed 5 days in the hospital. The room was very comfortable like in a hotel with all necessary bath stuff that was changed every day. I’m so grateful to all the staff of the department, especially to all the nurses for their attention, care and kindness to my daughter. Special thanks to the Otolaryngologist Dr. Natalia Angulo Sierra and to Dr.Alejandro Agudelo Torres from Maxillofacial surgery department, and to all doctors from general surgery department. I really appreciate the support and understanding that I was given all the time, thank you so much.

My first visit to IMED Hospital in Burjassot was fantastic! Coming in from the city center of Valencia, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was incredibly easy to reach by Metro. The moment I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by their efficient process. They took care of all the necessary information electronically, saving me time and hassle. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, guiding me through the check-in. I received a plastic card that made everything so simple during my consultation. Dr. Andrea Rubio Fernández, the Otorhinolaryngologist, was incredible. She saw me almost immediately and quickly identified the issue with my hearing. The procedure was slightly uncomfortable, but the results were worth it - my hearing is better than before! She even prescribed drops for a cut I had and gave me clear instructions on how to use them. I'm so thankful to the team at IMED for their professionalism and care. If you're in need of medical attention in Valencia, I highly recommend IMED Hospital. They truly put their patients' well-being first.

Very clean, kind staff, knowledgable doctors, and for those of us who speak and understand Spanish poorly, everyone at the hospital appears to be bilingual.

Two months and no gynaecological appointments available. Have results of a blood test and can’t get an appointment to review with a doctor. What is the point of private insurance? Public would be faster than this.
