After the operation back to a small cubicle ( like you would get if you didn’t pay insurance🤣) Was not offered a snack or anything after the operation, I hadn’t eaten since morning obviously.     Si lo que quieres es un trato precario este es tu hospital. Mi padre ingresó un miércoles a las 23:00 y le dicen que tiene covid y neumonía importante y 40°de fiebre. Es de riesgo ya que tiene Epoc. Al día siguiente le hacen un Tac y le dicen que no tiene neumonía, que el médico de urgencias que lo atendió es joven y ha dado un diagnóstico erróneo. Este hecho nos lo comunica mi padre. Al preguntar por su estado en el hospital no obtenemos ningún tipo de información en planta. El viernes le quieren dar el alta ya que dicen que está bien a pesar de que sigue con fiebre y dolor en el pecho fuerte. Mi padre les dice que no se encuentra bien y que le duele mucho el pecho y que por favor le dejen pasar el fin de semana que se encuentra muy mal y así se queda más tranquilo, a regañadientes lo dejan quedarse. El domingo a primera hora le dan el alta y se va a casa,3 días después sigue encontrándose peor y con fiebre, el miércoles lo recogió a primera hora una ambulancia y al hospital Peset donde a estado un mes y medio en UCI.

    Nice hospital, the doctor and nurses were great, but the food situation needs urgent attention. I am a type 1 diabetic and all I was given for each "meal" was fruit juice, biscuits and a sugary strawberry yogurt. When I explained to the nurse that I am diabetic I was told this was the diabetic menu. I ended up going hungry. Even if I was not diabetic, I hardly think a carton of fruit juice, a few packets of biscuits and a yoghurt constitutes a meal. Especially when you are changing close to €1000 a night. Really disappointing.

    I needed to take a test for fructose, a prescription for the test was written by an endocrinologist at another large clinic that also works with Aegon, the clinic was stamped on Aegon letterhead. When we went to register for the test at Vithas, we were given a list of instructions for the test (quite strict) and told to come at any time during certain hours without an appointment with a DNI and a doctor's prescription. I prepared for the test and came to the test early in the morning with the documents. There was a long queue, which in itself was inconvenient. But when I approached the administrator, I was told that some kind of authorization was needed to make the prescription real or something like this. No one could explain what kind of authorization this is and why it is needed, since I don’t know Spanish well, and 3 people at the administration did not know English. In the end, I left with nothing, not understanding what was required of me. Just a waste of time. The staff was friendly and I was treated well BUT I never received a final bill of my treatment or a refund from 400 euro deposit that was made from my credit card when I checked in. Before I left the hospital I was told that they will send me an email within a short period of time. I tried to call the hospital multiple times and also send them an email (in Spanish) but nobody ever answered me. So I lost 400 euros without receiving a bill from my treatment that would have helped me with my insurance company.

    I had surgery under local anesthesia, the hospital was in good condition and clean. The nurse was friendly and took care of me with a smile. The surgeon, Ernesto, very nice, made me talk to see what was going well during the operation and thus also distracted me a little. He gave me post-op instructions on how to heal it and gave me the next appointment. Since it was local anesthesia, I left immediately and went home.
