The
building
complex,
including
the
tower,
has
a
lot
to
see.
Parts
of
it
are
from
the
mid-1400's.
It
sits
atop
Roman
ruins
which
are
found
in
the
bottom
floor
of
the
museum.
There
is
a
rainwater
drainage
system
for
the
earlier
Roman
streets
which
is
in
very
good
condition,
and
you
actually
walk
thru
an
ancient
cemetery
with
numerous
bones
and
fragments.
The
rest
of
the
museum
I
found
to
be
okay,
not
impressive,
but
I've
been
in
many
cathedrals
throughout
Europe.
There
are
smaller
chapels
all
along
the
sides
of
the
main
cathedral.
One
is
the
Chapel
of
the
Holy
Grail
with
wonderful
alabaster
carvings
and
the
stone
chalice
supposedly
used
for
the
Last
Supper.
The
chalice
has
been
here
since
the
15th
century.
It
is
said
there
exists
a
lot
of
proof
that
the
chalice
is
authentic.
For
me
just
to
see
the
chalice
is
worth
the
visit.
I
also
enjoyed
walking
up
the
207
steps
of
the
tower,
only
an
extra
€2
for
retirees.
You
can
use
that
ticket
multiple
times
a
day.
