I
don't
often
get
out
to
Ikea,
but
when
I
do
it
is
often
treated
as
a
bit
of
a
day
out!
The
store
itself
is
well
laid
out,
almost
like
a
theme
park
where
it
takes
you
round
everything
in
a
linear
path
so
you
don't
miss
anything.
There
are
some
nice
touches
in
places,
for
example
the
tribute
to
the
Duke
of
Wellington
statue
and
a
display
of
local
art
makes
it
feel
like
the
giant
corporate
store
is
actually
aware
of
it's
location
and
has
some
uniqueness
to
it.
Half
of
our
flat
has
Ikea
furniture
in
it
and
while
it
can
be
a
bit
of
a
chore
or
challenge
assembling
it,
it
can
also
be
quite
fun.
It
is
worth
it
so
you
can
afford
to
buy
their
furniture
at
cheaper
prices
than
if
they
were
preassembled.
The
massive
warehouse
section
has
touch
screens
set
up
at
intermittent
areas
available
to
help
you
locate
the
furniture
you
want,
which
is
extremely
useful.
They
have
also
introduced
self
checkouts
which
seem
to
help
keep
the
queues
down.
Finally,
on
your
way
out,
don't
forget
to
check
out
the
food
market,
in
particular,
the
plant
based
options.
Their
vegan
strawberry
ice
cream
is
amazing,
and
while
their
hotdogs
are
basic,
the
plant
based
one
is
full
of
flavour.
Enjoy
your
day
out!
