Everything in this park is to die for.. Breathtaking scenery.... So many wild animals... I saw more than 500 buffaloes in a single day... I got to see my favourite animals, the zebras so beautiful.. The Amapwas rock has got the best views of the park.. The rangers are so lovely and kind... The birds... The journey to the park, the people... The thrill that comes with the cars getting stuck en route, PS: make sure you avoid travelling during the rainy season if you don't have a four-wheel. I loved everything Karamoja region had to offer♥️

We visited the national park with our own car, a Toyota RAV4 (perfect in the dry season), much cheaper, $40 entry per person, $8 for the car and $40 for the guide, in the morning ($20) and in the afternoon ($20), it is advisable to have an open roof to be able to better observe the animals.

The semi-arid plains and valleys of this Ugandan park are a sanctuary for many species of animals, and a perfect playground for safari lovers. The dry season spanning July and August is the best time to visit, when animals gather around water holes. On expeditions or hikes through the park, visitors can see lions, gazelles, elephants, giraffes and dozens of other species.

Oh so nice these guys really. Well we visited the park and you just saw everything from little mammals to big lions or elephants you really see everything and the people are very friendly! The thing is there are only about 10 people visiting per month so you are practically alone in the park and it is so nice there!

The park is phenomenal. It looks like something out of a Disney movie. It is a surreal verdant park teeming with plenty of animals for you to marvel at as you bask in the glorious feeling of being in the Pearl of Africa.

Kidepo Valley National park is located in the north eastern side of Uganda and is one of the least visited National Park. This is mainly due to the fact that this beautiful national park has been for a longtime been had to access. Having done a familiarization tour to Kidepo Valley National Park to find out Kidepo attractions, kidepo Lodges and how best to get there, Encounter Africa safaris is glad to inform you that we have now extended our operations to Kidepo National Park.

Kidepo valley national park is located in the far North-Eastern Uganda, bordering Uganda and Kenya in the East and Uganda and South Sudan in the North. The park offers an authentic experience Wilderness as you drive from the gate to the heart of the Park, Apoka area. It's the only park in Uganda where you can see the ostriches and cheetahs. Other large wildlife species found in the park include different antelope species, Lions, Elephants, giraffes, cape buffaloes, Leopards to mention a few. Come Lets Travel!!

So, how popular is birdwatching? The short answer, birdwatching is incredibly popular! ... It has become one of the fast growing hobbies in North America, and in Canada more time is spent birdwatching than gardening! Birdwatching is now a multi-million dollar industry and one of the strongest magnetisms for ecotourism.

To have the best of real nature, it’s the place to be coz of its remoteness. Tourism in this place is still virgin at one of the best national parks in Uganda. A park surrounded by mountains and located in the valley gives you a chance to see a number of mammals like lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, kobs, baboons, giraffes, etc.

Kidepo is a strange beast. The pluses: You probably won't see a soul. The landscape is very beautiful. Huge buffalo herds. You can walk outside the car! The minuses: Not much action as predators are few, and as there are very few people, they can't help point you to the action. All in all, it's worth it, for 1-2 days.

Kidepo Valley National park is found in North Eastern Districts of Kidepo, Kabong and Karenga. It's one of the biggest National parks in Uganda. It has rare game as well the other big game like giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, antelopes as well as a variety of birds. It's a great place to be given it's unique brown vegetation. It's also a place where you can experience the unique culture of the Karimojongs. It's one of the few places on earth where you can witness one point where three countries share a border point. Come visit the place and experience a rare site.

Kidepo valley national Park is located in the north Eastern part of Uganda. It is the best national Park in Africa with the real wilderness where you can view the big five animals. It also got a beautiful land scape, ? mountain and a river. It should be your next destination..... You can't just miss out on seeing the beauty in Uganda ❤️.

Kidepo Valley National Park is perhaps the last true scenic Wilderness. Don't listen to the travel "guidance", go during the wet season to experience true Africa. The right well raised full time four wheel drive to allow you drive through flash floods and seasonal rivers. Plan a 5 day trip to allow you track all of Africa's big five

Would recommend a visit. Kidepo is the least visited NP in Uganda because of its location but definitely the prettiest by its views. In addition, there's few tourists compared to Murchison or the other NPs.

It's a savanna like no other. So much endowed. The rains water it at different intervals in different access points. If it's rain g here, it's dry there. It's a park with a very bright future for the wild. In fact it's numbers are increasing. It's thriving. You hardly go 100meter without finding a tree 🎄 or a thicket. Many young trees are coming up, & you can evidently see there several over grown trees keeping the park. Massive numbers of buffalo's, huge Elephants & lions, to mention but a few. You can tell that the animals are well protected. I didn't see that in the Masai Mara.

If you go there in the rain, you are finished! Some of the roads become seasonal rivers and have to wait for hours, but I personally enjoyed, good people there, animals and everything thing I can say.

Kidepo Valleys National Park is excellent place for adventure! It is a great spot for tourists where they can watch the beauty of nature. It is good for photographers. It is great for zoologists and botanists. Institute of performing art and mind power development admires this awesome natural beauty.

Called Kidepo VALLEY National Park because it's indeed in a valley surrounded by ranges. Big herds of Elephants and Buffalos

  • 5/5 Eric R. 5 years ago on Google
This park is a kind of a challenge to get to but definitely well worth it. Because it takes so much time and effort you are rewarded by basically having the park to yourself. Unlike Murchison Falls, which is very commercial and can be crowded, Kidepo is very serene and relaxing. The scenery and animals are incredible but what I enjoyed most is just relaxing out in nature, be it watching the sunset or around the fire.

My longest trip through Eastern Uganda. Saw quite a number of animals, mostly buffaloes. The best time to catch variety of the is during sunrise around 6am. Zebras, Giraffes, warthogs, elephants all gaze as the sun comes out. Also, this place has many beautiful scenary for photography.

First of all, the people are really friendly! You can get to camp in the wild and see animals all around you especially warthogs, buffaloes and jackals which is very exciting. However brace yourself, Kidepo is very very very far and remote too and if you're lucky you just might get to see the king of the jungle in a game drive.

It is a place that is familiar to us even though we would never have been there. To anyone who is thinking of knowing this place to do it since he will not regret it !! (Original) Que lugar por favor!!!! creo que es un viaje en el tiempo, es volver al inicio del la historia humana, un reencuentro con nuestros antepasados.
