A traditional supermarket. Products imported from Thailand and Vietnam are on sale, as well as, of course, alcohol and beer and wines. Also clothes and items suitable for the home kitchen. Cash only. ATMs outside. A 1.5l water bottle costs 3000 KIP. Not for shopping.

The grocery is spacious and you can find a lot of local Laos products. I bought some coffee here to bring home to my home country. They also have a clothing and make up section, it is a one stop shop. The grocery is also near the market and other establishments such as the Champasak Grand Hotel.

A super-sized supermarket. Has all the usual things; cooking, cleaning, making, washing. A small collection of clothes and female beauty products. Close to the main centre of town, with plenty of parkings .. worth a visit when looking for 'things I need'.

Generally the best place to pick up the weekly/fortnightly groceries under one roof. Sadly, their inventory system seems to be archaic and/or poorly managed. The store's management don't seem to realise that if an item sells out quickly, then it is obviously popular and needs to be restocked ASAP, yet it can be weeks (or even months) before a restock is seen on the shelves! I often gain the impression the store has more staff than customers, as there is nearly always staff members standing around individually or in groups doing nothing except getting in the way of customers. Similarly, most of their shelf stocking/stacking seems to be done during the day (rather than after hours like a Western supermarket), resulting in pallets, boxes, stepladders and staff blocking aisles or narrowing floor space so that a shopping cart cannot pass. Lastly, it would be supremely helpful to their regular customers if they would stop changing the layout of the store; it is not uncommon for an item to be in one aisle one week and in a different aisle the next week... perhaps this constant "refining" is how they keep all those staff busy?! Aside from those oddities and irritations, shopping here is generally a good experience.

Large supermarket with the added bonus that it accepts credit cards (3% surcharge but still cheaper than withdrawing cash on my Australian card). Excellent selection of beers, wines and spirits at good prices. Elsewhere the placing of goods is pretty random so you have to walk every aisle which are often clogged with multiple staff counting products or restacking.

Huge supermarket with limited stock. I could not find any staple international food items such as peanut butter, rolled oats, dark chocolate, all of which are readily available in small convenience stores in Luang Prabang.

Friendship Market is a very good place to shop. They import a lot of items you cannot get any where else in Laos. But it is always hit or miss. Sometimes they have...sometimes they don't.

Good convenient store in the area, it's pretty much like BigC and lotus in Thailand.

This mall sucks, it’s always a mess when I shop there. 1. You gotta watch out for the price tags and the products not lining up on . 2. The sale items are still full price when you pay. 3. You gotta count the stuff when you pay, they will scam you. Basically, you gotta be on your toes when you shop here, don’t trust them for a second.
