I discovered a hidden gem of a coffee shop just across from La Boulange, owned by a Japanese guy who enjoys laid-back pace of Pakse. From the outside, you wouldn't guess the tranquil oasis that awaits within. Stepping inside, I was enveloped by an atmosphere of quiet and calm. The ambiance is ideal for those looking to daydream or enjoy a peaceful moment before returning back to their daily life. Sipping on their excellently crafted coffee in the late afternoon felt like a serene escape. It's also the perfect spot to unwind after a satisfying meal at La Boulange. This coffee shop is a must-visit for anyone seeking a moment of tranquility paired with great coffee in Pakse.

I fell in love this place :) It has a very calm and gentle atmosphere. The Chai Tea was great and came with a glass of water. They have wifi and a bookshelf with a variety of books. If you need it you could also charge your phone. But I would suggest you just come around and read a book. 📚 The owner also sells lovely self made bags, key chains and much more! I would highly recommend this place if you are searching for something small, quiet and not touristic!

Coffee made with a lot of care. Nice and different every time depending of the beans of the moment. Zen feeling. A lot of charm in the middle of a chaotic town.

Loved it here, spend my morning working, the atmosphere is sublime, the owners is super nice and… coffee is delicious. They dont habe many food options, so maybe not ideal for breakfast/lunch, they just offer some pastries.

Relaxing and cozy café. I tried the espresso tonic and the drip coffee and both were really good. When I first saw the beans I thought it was too dark but I was nicely surprised as the coffee was not bitter but perfectly balanced 👌 The barista/owner is really nice, the music is relaxing and because the coffee shop is located in a small side street you don't get the noise of cars and bikes. Definitely recommend this place!

Delicious coffee and good bakeries. Quiet place to sit and chill out. The building is from the colonization period, but the renovations were nicely done and preserved the beauty of that era.

Very cute little cafe, tucked out the way! Coffee was delicious, wish there was more food options!

Such a cozy coffee shop! When not brewing you a heavenly cup of coffee, you'll find Japanese owner Saki sewing or crotcheting little amigurumi dolls. His baked goods are a divine accompaniment to the various drinks on the menu. If you stick around long enough, the shiny resident black cat will come say hi.

After a week in Pakse, we found this place who makes a great cappuccino and happy to say the best taste, consistency and creamy foam like back home in Australia. the banana muffins are delicious to for a quick snack and enjoyed the mini baguette with apple baked inside (the owner called it apple bread) it’s not full of apple , just enough to give little surprise when biting into the soft crunchy exterior and perfect density bread! the owner is a delight to talk to and all smiles when entering - such a warm welcome! we are only sorry we didn’t find this place sooner as we would be here every morning! i’ve provided a picture of the exterior as it’s easy to miss this cafe and like laos, a lot of roads are not paved either. It’s not far from the main road. inside the cafe it’s choice of decor is clean and warm with stylish tapestry hanging from the walls.

Truly exceptional homemade ginger ale and biscotti. Exemplary coffee and an exceptionally gracious host. Do not miss if you are in the area.

one of the most coolest coffee shop in Pakxe. Since the owner/barista is japanese, the shop ambience is mixed with japanese lao and colonial feeling which is really relaxing good. Coffee with milk base is a little too milky for me but the black one is perfect. I had flan and it was good. I saw they made bagel themselve but it was sold out so I have to come back for the coffee and bagel.

Nicest café in Pakse. Best café in pakse. The owner is Japanese and very nice. The decor is super simple but oh so nice. Great music, ambiance, atmosphere. I do recommend it to anyone visiting Pakse. There is some sweets like cake and brownies and bagels also. We haven’t taste it though. The internet is almost fast!! Which is rare in Laos!!

Cant use any word except PERFECT. The best place in Pakse. I really relaxed there with delicous coffee, tender music and a short nice conversation with the Japanese owner. He has some handmade goods for sales, photos that taken by himself, and also uses them for decorating. The shop also has cakes. I really like the way he handles all of those things alone. If i have a chance back to Pakse, will visit it again for sure.

The owner is a Japanese who knows coffee very well. I love the ambiance where it smells rustic vintage and they played nice jazz there. Coffee is great. The place is between 2 blocks of shops. It is rather small but if you are hunting for good coffee in Pakse, this is the absolute best place to go.

👍 Loved this place. It really does sell the best coffee in Pakse. The only down fall is it is also the most expensive place in Pakse. The coffee prices are similar to coffee shops in England so not great for budget travellers £2.50 - £3). We went once but I wish we went again. We just didn't have the...

👍👍 Amazing place, the interior is very well designed like an old baroque room. Food (breakfast) and coffee were excellent and very reasonably or even low priced considering this unique place. There are many good coffee places in Pakse, but this was the best of all of them.
