This might be the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Asia. The beds are comfortable and spacious and has everything you need; shelf, hooks, towel rain, charger and a nice mattress & bedding. Like a hotel hostel. The whole place is incredibly clean. We also received our laundry within 4 hours. We were so chuffed with the service, such great staff running this place. I’m telling everyone to stay here because it’s so great!

I stayed two times at this hostel: 2020 and 2022. The host is an amazing person! She really knows how to make people feel comfortable at her place. The building has modern style and it's well maintained. The beds are very comfortable. It has several bathrooms and showers. Also has a restaurant with quality food at very good prices.

The best hostel in SEA!! We loved our stay here! The staff are incredible, they're so friendly and helpful, they felt more like old friends by the time we left particularly the lady at the front desk. She is amazing! The hostel is super clean in all areas! The bathroom facilities are great and they even supplied a little sewing kit, which ideal for backpackers who've been on the move for a bit. The beds are very comfortable and private too which is always nice when staying in a hostel. The lockers are big enough for a medium sized backpack which means there is plenty of room for your valuables. The fresh fruit and coffee in the restaurant downstairs are great too and all come from the Sanga plantation. The lady at reception helped us book a bike, gave us recommendations on what to see and where to eat. She also booked the minivan and boat for us to Don Det with a reputable company which meant our journey was smooth and hassle free.

As you probably already can tell from all the other reviews, this hostel is astoundingly good. I don't understand how can they can charge such reasonable rates for the level of service here. You can expect an immaculately clean dorm a comfortable bed in it. The toilets, although shared, are well maintained and must be cleaned very regularly. Same goes for the showers. With AC and fans in the rooms, sleeping is very comfortable and the manager seems to check regularly that temperatures are okay and everyone is happy. On the subject of the manager (I didn't catch her name) she is maybe the number one reason to stay here. She is so helpful, diligent and genuinely nice. Don't even think about not staying here. If you still aren't convinced, check out how they fold your towels into a Swan!

The high rating of this hostel is more than justified. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The facilities and cleanliness of this hostel are great in themselves but the staff are what create such a phenomenal experience. All staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. In particular, our host/manager Luang was so warm and helpful. She is incredibly good at her job, and is always happy to help us with any range of issues/questions, including recommendations (attractions/temples/food). I could not recommend this hostel more highly.

Probably the best hostel I have ever been. The owner is amazing! Nice and helpful. Is a hostel with a 5 star hotel service and details that make the stay so perfect. Tasty and healthy breakfast, laundry that smells like heaven, towels provided, shower gel, shampoo… Thank you so much Luang!

One of the best hostels in Laos. Amazing staff, they help you with everything. If you are here for the loop they will set up everything for you! Rooms are really clean and good privacy in the dorm. Overall an amazing stay.

Amazing Hostel!! Rooms and common areas are very clean! Restaurant has delicious food and prices are very fair. Staff is amazing, special mention to the lady at the front desk that helped us arrange scooter-rental, hostels... and gave us many tips for our next destinations in Laos. All in all a great experience. 100% recommended

I’ve been back packing for 6 months and I have to say this is the nicest hostel I’ve stayed at while in Asia. The place appears to be quite new, very clean and well furnished. It has an adorable souvenir at the front, a pretty good restaurant, very spacious showers and comfy big beds with privacy curtains. To top it all off, the staff are super accommodating and lovely (especially the lady at the reception). They cheerily helped us with any queries we had. 10/10

Honestly, best hostel so far after 1.5month in SEA. Such a great quality for price, everything is perfect. Luang, the lady who handles the place, is the nicest person, welcomes you and makes you feel home. Beds are private and big and comfortable, bathrooms are huge with everything you need and more. The laundry service is amazing: 15k/kg, smells incredible and is brought back to you directly to your room! Free bananas and water refill... Everything is just so thoughtful like that. Would like to go back to Pakse just to stay there again.

In total we stayed two nights at Sanga Hostel, one night before the loop and one night after. We felt very comfortable! After our arrival early in the morning from Vientiane we could check in and shower in the morning directly after a very good breakfast. The hostel is centrally located. Everything is very clean and modern, the beds in the dorm are generous, there are two towels and enough showers and toilets. In the room there are small lockers and enough space for the big backpacks. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Sanga Hostel, the food was very tasty. In addition, water, fruit and two scoops of ice cream are provided free of charge. A very special thanks to Luang! She organizes everything here insanely great, helps guests with all questions and concerns from early in the morning until late at night. She gave us great tips for the area and the Loop and helped us a lot. Luang speaks English, Vietnamese and Thai. She also helps guests from other accommodations and always keeps the complete overview. Thank you so much for your support and tips, we had a great time here :)

One of the best hostels that I’ve stayed at in the past 3 months of travelling. The owner is the sweetest lady I’ve ever met and genuinely cares for everyone who stays at the hostel. She even patched me up when I had a little cut on my leg!! The hostel is extremely good value for money and one of the cleanest hostels that I’ve stayed at. The facilities are exceptional, the food is delicious, and the free tea and cookies each evening top off a perfect day in Pakse. I could not recommend this hostel more!!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. The rooms are very clean, beds quite large, there is A/C and the bathrooms clean and tidy. Small details make it even better (soap, light, lockers etc) There is also free water, bananas and ice cream 😍. The owner is very friendly and helpful and knows exactly how to deal with every guest's requests. All the best

Excellent hostel, really one of the nicest we've stayed in on our whole trip. Such a friendly owner, with lots of tips. The beds were spacious and comfy, each had a plug and a light withing and good curtains. Good location. Hired a moped from the hostel, it was very easy and we received a brand new moped, only 25 miles on the meter! I left my waterbottle at the hostel and the great owner organised it to be brought to my next location the next day. Would recommend to all!

Amazing hostel, amazing staff. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The lady at reception goes above and beyond and is so happy all the time which makes the stay so much more enjoyable. Thank you

Amazing hostel with a lovely crew. Clean, confortable and beautiful: everything that a traveler needs! I feel grateful with the owner, an amazing vietnamese women that help us while we were stucked in Laos due the covid-19 outbreak (june 2020). Thank you!

This hostel is absolutely fantastic, I can't say enough good things about it but I'll try. It is in a fantastic location, spotlessly clean, the rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable, the food is delicious and the beer is cold! The manager of this hostel is an amazing woman! She is so kind and helpful. I have never come across a more hardworking and organised woman. She is so impressive! My wife and I arrived here at 8am after getting a 12 hour sleeper bus from Vientiane. We expected to be able to check in by 2pm like any other place. The manager checked us in for 9am ( just one of many examples I could give about how fantastic she is.) Thanks for everything :)

One of the best hostels I have EVER stayed at. We moved here from 1918’s hostel due to the good reviews and that decision was proved right. Facilities were great (everything you could need and more), beds were big and comfy, the restaurant at the bottom is awesome and very reasonably priced but the highlight HAS to be the host (Luang). She is a super woman - so attentive and lovely, and makes an AMAZING tour guide. Truly cannot recommend this place high enough - the decision to stay here is a no brainer!

We checked in just for the day whislt we waited for the night bus and couldn't be happier and more grateful! Really comfortable and clean rooms, good showers and most of all the woman who runs the place is so wonderful and helpful. Also, a beautiful little gift shop downstairs!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. 10/10 would recommend to stay here when in Pakse. The lady made us feel very welcome and helped us plan the our trip to the Bolaven plateau and 4000 islands. The dorm was clean and the beds were comfortable. Shower facilities were also extremely clean and have hot water! The hostel also provides additional laundry service and scooter rental possibilities.

Wonderful staff, incredibly clean, very comfortable sleeping area, all around the best hostel that I have had the pleasure of staying in anywhere in Laos. And don't miss the souvenir shop in the front!

Best place ever. I've only been in 1 better hostel of my years of travel and I aim to go to the best hostels in town. This one is by far the best hostel you can find yourself in.

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The owner is a wonderful woman. There is free fruit in the evenings. The hot water and A/C both work great. The beds are huge and very comfortable. Overall a great place to stay.

The 5 star reviews here are extremely accurate as the hostel is extremely clean and comfortable. I'm very impressed by the quality if my stay as it rivals other more expensive hostels in Thailand. If you're looking for a hostel where you'll feel comfortable, look not further than here. Edit: I arrived at around 6a.m. via the overnight bus from Vientiane and was able to check in at 8:30a.m., which I've never been able to at any hostels.
