It's a small famous restaurant in palakkad serves Tamil Nadu style biryani but little different. it's called ravuthar Biryani, it has some sort of authentic vibe. the restaurant was pretty much packed at the lunch time. little on the Spicier side. Quick service.

Average biriyani with Average price. And very less quantity I went here by hearing the very famous palakkad biriyani. If you love palakkadan biriyani, definitely try this biriyani. They will serve some gravy also. It is situated 850metre from palakkad town stand. There is no parking space for cars. Two floors are there. In ground floor, 4-5 tables are there . In one table 4 persons can accomodate. Behavior of staff is also average Biriyani is like a tomato rice with chicken curry. Salad is ok. Pickle is below avawerange. Biriyani served in old style like we called kundanbiriyani. Very much spice is in the biriyani. And chicken is two piece is there. I got one leg piece and one small piece with the biriyani. For 130 rupees this biriyani is not worth it.

This is one of the most famous biriyani house in Palakkad , I tried the nRM special biriyani which is little bit spicy and it's different from the other normal biriyani you may have experienced. The staff in the store are super nice . Especially the person in the billing was very funny. I also tried a beef fry which is very nice and we'll fried and very tasty . It's the first time I a getting a vegitable gravy curry for a biriyani

The best biryani center of Palakkad city. They started from here and elaborated to other outlets in town. Owners are very friendly and talkative. They accept digital payments too. Takeaways available. It's bit riush from 12PM. NMR special biryani is a must try. Only problem is lavk of parking space. Don't ever dream of Four wheeler parking infront or beside this. Vegetarian or Egg biryani also available. A must try restaurant in town. Maybe bit difficult to reach here from traffic but worth a try.

Food served is fresh and straight out of the kitchen. Classic raavuthar biriyani with spices mixed well with the rice and meat. Mutton was very high quality meat, and was cooked to perfection. However the place can get a bit busy at times and expect wait times of 10-15 minutes during rush hours.

NMR Briyani House it is located near to the palakad bus stand which is around 1 km nearly.The tast is good must try if you visit palakad but you expect quantity it will not full fill you. Price will be reasonable one.little busy in the lunchtime.your going to tast an good food you can wait for 5 to 10 min .

As far as I know they have 3 locations in Palakkad. I was strongly recommended to visit NMR by my superior as he is from there. And had warned me it would be spicier than normal Biriyani. But to my surprise it wasn't hot spicy. Just had spicy flavor. We tried beef biriyani and chicken 65. Biriyani was well flavored and had properly soft, well cooked, good quality beef pieces. Chicken 65 was good enough, but wasn't boneless and felt like more bone pieces than it should be. They provide chicken and veg gravy + loads of raitha/curd which takes the experience to another level and is not familiar to majority keralites when it comes to briiyani There will be crowd during lunch time although we managed to get a table without much hassle or wait time. Parking is there but the roads are a bit narrow. The rich blend of spices in their biryanis creates a delightful explosion of flavors, making it a must-try in my opinion. And the items are priced well also in my opinion.

Its a famous restaurant . I tried beef biriyani and it's good. Also it's fairly priced. Its a different kind of biriyani Me along with my friend went there and it's Really crowded when we visited , we just have to wait a little to get a seat. Altogether it's good.

This is one of the Must Try Biriyani in Palakkad town. Many of the Kerala Biriyani lovers may not like this. This is real masala based biriyani. Mutton Biriyani is very very special and even must try. The protein content is also really good. The Dhalcha combination is heavenly.

Had NMR Chicken Biriyani @130rs, half rice @50rs, Chilli Chicken @80rs BIRIYANI - Poli sanam, we would have tendancy to eat more, like i ordered extra rice😜, salad was good as like for every biriyanis, they provide chicken gravy and vegetable gravy (tastes like sambar), i tried both.( don't try vegetable gravy if u have no problem with chickn gravy, you would end up like eating biriyani rice with gravy in a vegetable bouffe counter in mrg functions 😬, it tasted so same😖). The thing special here is that we feel more homely and traditional, the gravy provided directly to plate and the funniest part is they ask what would we wish to have as side dish. I was like "side dish for Biriyani, didn't i ordered chickn biriyani?" in mind😂😂. It was absolutely normal there, everyone tries side dish and i ended up too😂. And that was Chilli Chicken CHILLI CHICKEN-felt very good for me, haven't eaten one in so long time (i don't like too oily ones from fast foods, so i probably avoid). For me it was not too dry not too oily, tasted well too. NOTE:I had eaten from NMR shops at stadium and Crossroad in NH, from these 2 places it tasted to me like another variant of Kabsa or Thalapakkatty biriyani, coz that biriyanis had a bit taste of their masalas. I liked it but was not trully satisfied. The taste in this particular shop is unique, extra masala flavour not even recognise bit taste of other variant, entirely unique. When comparing 3 NMR shops, uniqueness of taste was seen in this one and one near stadium ground but there cost is 180rs, gravy and all sides are limited(provided in curryplates)and bit cozy. In term of space and atmosphere Crossroad is good but the Biriyani is definetly not NMR biriyani, else someother variant😑.
