Really good Peruvian food, drinks and service. Can specially recommend the Tamal de Cerdo and Ceviche de Pulpo. Very fresh and you can tell it was made from scratch. It might look like nothing but the care and effort even in the pickled onion and attention to detail is great. Staff was very friendly, checked to see if we liked our drinks.

We are from Santa Barbara, California, and in SB, there was a restaurant called Papagallos, which had the best Jalea ever. It closed around 20 years ago, and we’ve been looking for Jalea as good ever since, even in Peru. Doña Amerika’s has the best since Papagallos. We ordered it with extra onions, and it was awesome. The Lomo Saltado was great too, as was the Chica Morada. So yummy!!!! If you’re in Girona, it’s worth the trip (go to the beach too)

We have reserved for 10 in this restaurant and we have been very warmly welcomed. The staff was very nice, kind and fun ! They even put music we like so that our group (we are all bachata dancers) can dance after the dinner ! :) All the food is very qualitative and home-made. They also propose nice cocktails. The chef have nice suggestions in case you can not choose between all the good food and drinks ;) Go there without hesitation !

Delicious Peruvian food made with fresh ingredients. The multilingual staff are friendly, helpful & welcoming & the location in bustling Platja d’Aro is tranquil. A healthy & flavorful antidote to much of the fried fare on the Costa Brava. Highly recommend!
