The
Jawaharlal
Nehru
Stadium
is
an
impressive
venue,
ranked
as
the
fourth
largest
stadium
in
India,
27th
largest
in
Asia,
and
103rd
largest
in
the
world
in
terms
of
seating
capacity.
Originally
built
by
the
Government
of
India
for
the
1982
Asian
Games,
the
stadium
now
hosts
a
variety
of
events
and
programs.
Here
are
some
of
my
observations
about
the
stadium:
The
stadium's
infrastructure
is
world-class
and
on
par
with
other
great
stadiums.
The
sports
facilities
available
are
superb.
The
access
roads
and
entry
gates
are
spacious,
making
commuting
during
large
crowds
easy.
The
stadium
hosts
regular
festivals
and
programs
that
are
a
treat
to
attend.
The
JLN
Metro
Station
is
the
best
way
to
reach
the
stadium,
and
you
can
walk
from
the
station
or
take
an
auto-rickshaw.
There
are
multiple
gates
for
entry,
so
be
sure
to
check
your
gate
number
carefully
The
Jawaharlal
Nehru
Stadium
in
New
Delhi,
India,
has
a
rich
history.
It
was
built
in
1982
to
host
the
IX
Asian
Games.
The
stadium
is
named
after
Jawaharlal
Nehru,
the
first
Prime
Minister
of
India
and
an
important
figure
in
the
country's
history.
Over
the
years,
the
stadium
has
been
a
significant
venue
for
various
sports
events,
both
at
the
national
and
international
levels.
It
has
hosted
numerous
football
matches,
athletics
events,
and
other
sports
competitions.
Additionally,
the
stadium
has
been
used
for
cultural
and
entertainment
events,
including
concerts
and
ceremonies.
The
Jawaharlal
Nehru
Stadium
has
played
a
crucial
role
in
promoting
sports
and
recreational
activities
in
New
Delhi
and
continues
to
be
an
iconic
landmark
in
the
city.
