Room was clean, beds comfortable and front desk person was great! Breakfast was lacking, but not a big deal. What was disappointing was how dirty the pool area was. Took pictures of how bad it was when we arrived - 3 days later no change. Makes you wonder.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The first room we stayed in had a water problem and was leaking on the floor. When I went down to let them know there was an issue I waited for a few minutes then I noticed behind the glass there were 3 people that looked and saw that I was they then dropped their heads down like children to buy be seen. Eventually they moved us to the room next door. Which you could tell it had not been serviced in a bit. The next day the room was not serviced at all. I went down to the front desk to ask them why and they told me that they only clean every other day and a note was on the counter telling us this. I advised that it was not and she proceeded to argue with me. I had to request towels and toilet paper for my room. I paid to have the late checkout but in the day I was packing to leave around 10 o'clock the key stopped working. They stated that there must have been a glitch in the system, but they still didn't give me the last 2 hours that I paid for. I would never never recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms and hallways smell. Carpets were dirty, pillows smell and uncomfortable. The sofa bed did not look clean and was very uncomfortable. Wifi worked fine, breakfast was ok except in my friend’s plate the veggie omelette there was bacon pieces got mixed in somehow. Michael was very helpful. The rest of the staff were average. The location of the hotel was fine. Would I stay here again? No, I would not.

Location is great, and hotel is newer! The rooms were clean and well put together. It was really nice because we were able to bring the dogs which is a huge plus! The pool was clean and quiet, which is always a huge plus. The free breakfast is a nice selection and added bonus! The only thing I would make mention of is that the front desk is not occupied at all times so there can be a wait. Someone sits in the back and will come up, but if you need an extra key or anything it is harder to get someones attention. They were quick to respond when we needed extra sheets though!

First, when I went to go check in the front desk, and the vigil insisted that I had no reservation, even after I provided him with the reservation number and showed him a receipt of my payment. I finally got it into my room left for dinner with friends and family, and when I came back, I was instructed That I could not stay in the lobby as it was closed so I either had to get out or go to my room. As a 45 year old adult, I did not take kindly to these two options and when I asked. why I could not stand text or call my friends they told me because it was a slip and fall hazard, but that I could go to my floor and sit outside or walk outside my room without any interruption. Please tell me how this makes sense when I called customer service they were closed and nobody could help me with my situation. I was referred back to the front desk, who just repeated the same instructions go to your room or go outside needless to say, I will probably not be coming back to this hotel. The room was great. The location was good. Unfortunately the rules and regulations treated me as a five-year-old did not sit kindly.

Thank you to Hassan and his team for making our stay a very pleasant one. From the janitorial team, house keeping and front desk personnel they are all very respectful, professional and welcoming. This hotel has a great team, the surroundings areas are super clean, breakfast is great and all the amnesties are fantastic. Rooms are spacious with a kitchen very well equipped and clean. 100% recommended!

The room was very clean! The mattresses are very soft. I'd prefer something a little more firm but they are very standard for hotels. It's about 10 minutes away from a huge mall and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Tough choice this one, because there's a lot of places to choose from in Schaumburg. But we ultimately decided on Home2 Suites on American Lane. As with other hotels in the Hilton Group, Home2 Suites has all the amenities you'd need and want. They offer a really nice breakfast everyday of your stay. Coffee and tea anytime you want it. Nice, clean rooms with a fridge, microwave and a kitchen sink for simple food preps. Home2 Suites and the Hilton Group offer a really great customer rewards program so check them out.

Very happy with this hotel. Our infant daughter needed a surgery and we are from out of state we knew we would be staying for a week or two and searched high and low in the north and northwest suburbs for a hotel with Kitchenet and good reviews hard to find. Very pleased that we picked Homes 2 in Schaumburg. Great location dozen food spots within walking distance hotel was nice breakfast was good nothing extraordinary and rooms were in good shape and clean. You can ask for an induction hot plate with pan for more options on cooking. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very clean and it appeared from watching staff interactions that it was very professionally run. The breakfast was not quite the normal breakfast at many Hilton brands but it was ok. The staff working the area did a great job. The rooms are very nice except the floors are not very solid so expect stomping from above

Had the opportunity to stay here for business last week. Always enjoy my stays at Home2. For the price point, I would pick Home2 every time. Great use of space in the rooms. Friendly staff, great location for my visit.

our stay was pleasant. the rooms are large, perhaps not very well ventilated (the windows cannot be opened). breakfast was good but not great, maybe they should add more variety in the "hot" part. overall the property offers various things, including gym and swimming pool. maybe the ventilation is too noisy, (even when turned off in your room) many nights it really bothered.

This is a nice place to stay, especially if you are going to be there for more than one night. The suites have a separate living room, kitchenette (microwave, fridge, dishwasher). Breakfast is excellent if your schedule allows you to be up and interested in eating from 6 to 9. My rating would have been 5 stars if my shower didn't drain slowly (I hate ankle wading in the water waiting to go down the sewer drain....) Other issue, not necessarily on the hotel, was the extremely inconsiderate neighbors screaming at each other at 11pm... Like normal conversation but at a volume that was just ridiculous.

Clean lobby and exterior, but thats as far as it goes. 1st room on the second floor was filthy, hair all over, stained sheets, nasty carpet and couch, dirt and debris on the floors and counters. The front desk quickly moved me to the 4th floor where i was greated by what looked to be a bird cages poop tray had spilled in the hall just outside the elevator. The room was better but still not clean, i was tired and just found the cleaner of the 2 beds to sleep on. This location needs alot of retraining on housekeeping and Maintenance. Worst Home 2 suites i have visited.

The rooms are pretty nice, staff was very attentive and everything was clean. The location is good and there is a diner right near the hotel which is very convenient.

Clean and spacious rooms equipped with everything with a small kitchen that had plenty of supplies. Awesome view of the city from the room window. Plenty of places to eat and dine in the really close vicinity. The service was amazing. Hot breakfast included pancakes, sausages, milk and yogurt, eggs, biscuits and cereals. You can choose what you like and very is an unlimited supply of coffee all day long available. Additionally, there is a stand with apples and cookies for all guests accessible anytime for free.

Nice area close to several restaurants and the mall. Good stay overall but in all honesty this place could use some upgrades and a good cleaning. The furniture in the lobby is dirty, the carpets throughout needed to be vacuumed and the wall in the pool area DEFINITELY needs to be repaired. I also noticed lots of pets..different breeds. Probably wouldn't book here again.

This is an older hotel and starting to show its age. It is fairly clean, and the location is convenient and quiet. Overall it is a good option.

Danielle at the front desk was amazing! We messed up on our reservation and she went above and beyond to help us and fix it. She is so sweet!

We stayed for a week and it was decent. Breakfast served daily, although it's practically the same thing every day: eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, breads, oatmeal. The hotel itself is quite clean. The room appeared clean upon entering, but we did find a few hairs here and there and the pull out couch had crumbs and stains on it when we opened it. Had to request new sheets to cover it. The main bed was incredibly uncomfortable, basic spring bed that unfortunately had a dip in the middle. The bathroom in our room had electrical tape put around the lock, so the door didn't close entirely, which gave us zero privacy. We took the tape off only to realize it was put there because when the door is closed entirely, it locks and won't open. Which TERRIFIED our 7 year old. There was zero warning of this. It was quite frustrating and unprofessional in my opinion to not let the guest know of this inconvenience. The pool was COLD. The pool was a main reason for choosing this location, but it was so cold we could only put our feet in. We left within fifteen minutes of using it. The only major upside, in my opinion, was the almost full kitchen in our room. For some reason it's hard to find a hotel with a microwave near the Chicago area. The kitchen comes with everything except a stove, but you can request a countertop cooker from the desk, which we didn't do. Overall, it was an okay stay. I would probably choose this location again only bc it has a pool, a microwave in the room, and offers free breakfast.

We stayed here 1 night this past weekend and our experience was pretty unpleasant. Our room wasn’t available at the check in time. They offered another room but we had asked upon booking to have all of our rooms next to each other. The bathroom had a lot of tile peeling off the walls. Our room smelled like smoke. All of that wasn’t the end of The world but the main reason we chose this hotel was for the pool. We had a group of us from out of town and we had kids with us. The pool area ambient temperature(I’m guessing it was 50*)was colder than the main lobby. To the point it was so uncomfortable in there just to sit. The pool water was also very cold. The kids made the best of it but the whole experience was so unenjoyable we couldn’t even hang out in the main pool area without layering on towels. I did ask the front desk if they could turn up the heat and the woman said she’d talk to the maintenance person. It never got warmer in there. We looked forward to the pool time for us all to hang out and talk but it was too uncomfortable. The breakfast was good though and the room was spacious. It is close to a lot of things to do. But I wouldn’t stay here again.

We lived here for about 3 months and had a wonderful experience during our stay. Allyza at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful. The manager Mr Albaldawi is really nice and always helps us to figure things out when an issue arises. The room is large and clean, and we really love the water pressure in the shower room. The breakfast host lady is very nice, too, and I enjoyed the spicy scrambled eggs very much.

Had a great stay, breakfast was amazing and had plenty of healthy options. Staff was fantastic very professional. We came to go to Lego land and stayed 2 nights. The location was awesome there was nothing at all to far away. Plenty of lit parking in giant lot. Beautiful property. Only down side which was NOT hotels fault was the soccer kids running everywhere while there parents where outside grilling and drinking. It's a shame that these parents let the hotel deal with upset guest outside of there party and have to had out discounts to accommodate for your kids using the building as a game of tag.

The room was long and narrow for a family of 5. We made do, like any other place. The kitchen area was awesome even though we did not use due to being there for 1 day. Plenty of drawers to store luggage or whatever else you may have.

The room was assigned late even though I checked in way ahead of time. Till 18:00 the room was not ready and the room That was assigned had damp wet floor around AC and bed. I am thankful that they changed the room but it took then another 45 minutes to figure out. I travelled all the way from Ontario and it was quite disappointing experience for my family

Overall the hotel was nice, though smoking is allowed outside it wasn’t overbearing. The rooms to me weren’t as nice as a traditional Hilton but they were spacious, clean, and looked nice. The gym was perfect I used it just about everyday with ALLL the equipment working. I would highly recommend this place and would come back again.
