Vanessa does such an amazing job on my hair! I like really natural looking highlights just to give some dimension and she gives me just the look I'm envisioning. She explains the process and gives tips as she goes. She also gives a fantastic haircut - I feel so refreshed! Her new salon is clean and beautiful and the perfect place to go. Highly recommend!

Vanessa the owner has been around for many years and I know her through Dannelly her mother that is a very well known stylist in the area. Do not hesitate to stop by and let them groom you. I was originally booked for a blow dry but asked if they could fit me in for highlights and saw Rafael for my service. I was warmly greeted by Vanessa (salon owner) and then a brief consultation to discuss what I wanted to do with my hair while still maintaining the health. The space is clean, modern and inviting. I love the final result and wish that I had a before photo to show the difference! Thank you Rafael and Vanessa!

I have been going to vanessa for many years. She is an excellent hair diagnostician! Truly! She is very knowledgeable. I was losing hair due to a medication change. She made helpful changes to my products and by the next visit I had lots of new growth! She takes the time to listen and is skilled She will do what you want, but also tell you honestly whether that cut or style will be good. I am very pleased! Prices are reasonable and she cares about her customers.

Absolutely love this place, it’s my new favorite and go to. Hadn’t done my hair in 8 months so I gave them a lot to work with. Loved my highlights, my new haircut and the blowout still looks like I just got it done but it’s been a couple of days. I loved the attention to detail that Rafael put into my hair and even going to explain to me the process gives me a lot of reassurance that I was in good hands.

It is hard for me to find a salon that I trust and feel comfortable going to and I am so happy that I found Salon Madison! Vanessa is great! I did japanese hair straightening and she walked me through all the options and we ultimately picked what was best for me based off my hair habits. So in addition to styling, I recommend her for hair treatments as well!

If I could give this place no stars, I would. My daughter had tried this place, a few weeks ago, after I saw a great review on our town’s mom’s and women’s FB page. We looked into the reviews, and we reached out for availability. They told my daughter they could see her the same day, and they agreed on 1pm. She got there on time, and said the place didn’t have any other customers, at that time. She had asked to even out and dye her hair a dark purple. Had asked them not to bleach her hair. She said the two stylists that were taking care of her (a male and female, she can’t recall their names) tried speaking to her in Spanish. They then asked if she spoke it, and she responded with a “no”. They then proceeded to say that it’s ridiculous that she didn’t speak it, and just spoke in Spanish amongst themselves the rest of the time. Today, my daughter’s hair is not even close to the color she asked for, and her hair feels like hay. I will be taking her to another salon to get her haircut, to remove the damage that was done in this salon. I won’t recommend this place to ANYONE. The staff is rude and incompetent. Maybe if they weren’t so busy judging and criticizing my parenting, they could’ve actually done their job right. COMEPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I have included the picture of what she wanted, and of what her hair looks like now. DON’T BE FOOLED by the reviews, this place is horrible!
