If I could I would have given them 0 stars. My dad take out samosa from them and after he came home he saw it's completely burnt! They didn't look at the food before giving it to their customers! Are you kidding me! It is totally unacceptable! Look at the pictures for clarification. They look greasy and disgusting

March 2023 Visit: Authentic Bangladeshi restaurant in the heart of Queens, NY. The Bangladeshi enclave here is famous throughout the world for its authentic interpretations of traditional Bengali culinary delicacies. I ate the loitta shutki and it was incredible, probably the best shutki I have had in North America. My brother had karahi goat, which was also delectable. Another winner was the egg pudding, made perfectly to the Bengali palate. Highly recommend, will definitely visit again when I am in NYC next. January 2024 Visit: Went here again on a layover in NYC on the way home from Costa Rica, brought my parents along this time and they absolutely loved it. We were served by Lovely, and she lived up to her name. We ate Khashi, Beef Curry, Daal, Ruti, Paratha, Cow Belly (Bhudi), and the Loitta Shutki that I had loved previously - everything tasted elite and I would absolutely revisit again when I'm in NYC.

It is one of the best Bangladeshi restaurants in whole USA. You will find all authentic Bangladeshi dishes here. We tried Neheri, parata, Halua and roomali rooti. When I was eating, I felt I was in some restaurant in my city back in Bangladesh. Ohh and it’s very cheap. Probably it’s common in NY. I am telling cheap comparing it to the price in west coast.

Food was not good at all. I tried the kichuri which was very bland which is sort of to be expected so I'll give it a pass, the beef was fishy for some reason, Their chicken sheesh kabab was the only thing that was ok. The chicken curry was also just meh. The wait was around 10+ min for cold food. Usually takeout is cold, but shouldnt have taken over 10 mins IMO. Once we got home both my wife and I were like wth, and even she mentioned this was one of the worse places we've been to where almost every food item we bought was not good.

Haven't had their food in a while, until tonight. Forgot how good this restaurant is. We had the chicken lollipop, beef fried rice, chili chicken, spicy beef, lo mein. The most tastiest fish was the fish with vegetables. We brought the food home this time but we ate here in the past. Would definitely go there or bring their food again.

I wanted to try some Bengali food, and this restaurant was recommended by a local. Kala bhuna, chicken samosa, and tea were really delicious. I didn't like the chicken kebab. It almost had no meat, or maybe this how it's done. Overall, great restaurant and I'll come again.

I hate there food. Fish had a bed smell. Beef was so heard cooked. First time try because of the one YouTuber. Can’t trust them anymore. They provide old food to the customer. They don’t serve fresh food. All food is left over and make our stomach upset.

Ridiculous portions of Bihari Kabab. Not such a good taste either. But the quantity is what’s embarrassing.

Poor service. The cashier lady with the hijab has really nasty attitude. She went inside for 15 minutes while customers were standing outside to order. I ordered sweet, she was putting sweets of her choice even though I told her I didn't want those.. unclean environment. But the food is good

Amazing food, the service is just alright, but then it is a no frills kinda place. The food is spot on every time, very consistent taste, just love it. Never been disappointed, tastes like home cooked, but better.

We went there for breakfast. We ordered 2 paratha, 1 order of omelette style egg, suji halwa, dal, and shredded potatoes. Everything was great. But the suji halwa was out of this world amazing 😍😋🤤. They also gave us a cup of black tea for free..☕🙂

One of the well named Bangladeshi food restaurant. The environment is pretty good but sorry to say the quality of food deteriorated in some authentic items. Rest a nice place to eat 😊.

I had a catering order last year and I thought that there would be special catering van/vehicle to cater the food to Pennsylvania. However, the food was catered in the back of a car without any measures to keep the food safe and warm. A lot of the food went bad on the same day. I expected better catering service for the delivery charge that I paid.

This shop sell sweet and salted bakorkhani. Their roshogolla is good too. Not too sweet, just the way I like it. Update: They sweets were great but when warmed them, it gave off a curry taste, same with the bakorkhani, it tasted like curry. It’s not normal for sweets or bakorkhani to taste like curry. Wont buy it again. 👎

Worst Sagor Box ever! As a local nonprofit we didn’t expect this restaurant would fail to provide quality food and serve the community ppl. We paid full money and didn’t ask for any discount but the food that we received was not fresh and was not packaged well as we asked them to. If you want to represent our bangali community and food then please keep this service to your own family. Never doing catering from sagor again!

I spent about $90 for 2 Kachi Biryani, 2 Haji Biryani 1 Beef Tahari, sweet and keema puri. They shortened me one of the Biryani. This is the second time this happened. Check your orders thoroughly before you leave the restaurant. Service is very poor. They will rush you. Sagar needs to train their employees better and hold them accountable for mistakes.

This Bengali restaurant is horrible. They serve old food. The stuffs are void of manners. Dirty ambiance. Even the bathroom does not have soap. And most importantly the food taste awful.

They kept their quality consistently good since I tried their food first. My go to option for Breakfast, Lunch or dinner. And of course their sweets - delicious.

The food here is very flavorful and especially the curries, my favorite here being the beef curry. They give basmati rice and often free lentil daal. Their fried snacks especially mughlai paratha, samosa and shami kabab are my favorite. I would give this restaurant 5 stars but sometimes their chicken and beef biryani feels dry, mostly the rice. However, this restaurant is the closest in NY to authentic Kacchi Biryani that you would find in Dhaka

The food at this restaurant is vey authentic and tasty. It has a touch of Chinese flavors and also Desi flavors which makes it very pleasing to the customers. The waiters serve you on time and so noticed that they expanded the place so now there is more space.

Salad was disgusting and spoil. Kachi don’t have not even meat all bones. Not worth buying food

I ordered the chicken tikka masala and curry chicken. Both were too spicy to finish. I wish heat level would be indicated on the menu. The chicken tikka masala didn't taste that good and the curry chicken was just a sea of oil.

Sagar used to be excellent 5 years ago, held events in the basement hall as well, great chilli chicken dishes and lollipop chicken, etc. they have an awesome menu. Fast forward to now its just microwaved food with not as much taste, end up with food poisoning from time to time, the meats feel more rubber like. The soups used to be great too now they arent, maybe the cook changed but sagar isnt the best at asian halal anymore. Still would support them and have a meal but its a hit or miss.

It's not 1/ 2 days or 1/ 2 times issues. Almost 90% times issues. Normally go for sweets , Yougart and snacks. Snacks test day by day goes to drain. Sweet is good but Yougart same time get good, Sametime not. Single line for everything's. Take longer than normal. It's totally abnormal. Customer service is the worse. Specifically the skinny lady, behavior is nasty. Rude, unprofessional. Like this She works as a volunteer. Serving Customer Like gives favor to customers. If they don't sale Bangladeshi food guarantee can't survive 6 months. If it's located midtown Lexington Avenue, where bunch of Indian restaurants located. Long before out of business for this kinds Customer service.

Taste is good but their main problem they serve frozen food. They deliberately serve Haji Biriyani at 4PM. So that they can sell their previous days frozen biriyani. Very clever and disgusting business policy. Moreover at the counter they always make a caos

Before buying from the restaurant please think once. Last week i bought 3 biriyani from them. I was hurry and didn't check the food. When i checked at home i found they gave me old frozen one. I live far from the restaurant that is way i didn't returned it. After eating the food all my family member ware sick for a week. I thought we might have some virus at our home. Than recently i talked one of my friend and she said, she had same situation like us. My request there are many restaurant in Hillside who sell fresh food. Test might be little different but you can get fresh good quality food. Don't try there Frozen food. Thank you
