We have been seeing Dr. Luxenberg and his staff for close to ten years now. We love having the convenience of the office right in town and his experience and equipment is top notch. We especially are grateful for Sunny who has been so helpful and pleasant to work with over the years. He always goes above and beyond for us when dealing with any issues we’ve had both with our glasses and our insurance. Overall, we are so fortunate to have this great service right here in Leonia. Highly recommend!

I received the most comprehensive eye care here. For a few years, I have suffered from contact lens irritation, which was repeatedly dismissed by all of my eye doctors who told me to just "wear contacts less" and repeatedly prescribed a limited range of irritating contacts. It was very validating for Dr. Luxenberg to inquire more about the issue. He's pretty direct/blunt, but I appreciate that. Unlike any eye doctor I've consulted, he identified a potential condition (giant papillary conjunctivitis) and prescribed a treatment and new contact lenses (custom ordered for my high astigmatism) that have been working wonderfully thus far. I am very satisfied with the level of care I've received here. P.S. The doc mentioned he's in a study group, which is a group of healthcare professionals who share new research so they can continually educate themselves even after professional school.

The entire staff at Palisades Optometrics is kind and welcoming, and Dr. Yoon is extremely professional and thorough with eye exams. He takes the time to explain eye health and glasses and contact lens options in a friendly and clear way. The facility is clean and bright, and the equipment appears new and full scope. I had a contact lens fitting with the doctor and was able to try a few options until I found the ones that provided the most comfort and clearest vision. I'll definitely be returning as a patient and recommending this place to family and friends.

I've been here for many years, even after I moved to Baltimore because Dr. Lux is a specialist on near sight and contact fitting, AND he is friendly and really cares about his patients' vision and eyes. The staff are friendly and Ruth the optician is fantastic at picking out the best frame for you if you like to look good when you wear glasses!

Love this place! Never a wait and great service. Been coming here for years. Dr. L helped me with a terrible allergic reaction to contacts and thanks to him I had no damage. Now I can wear contacts again, but with the right brand. My daughter also sees him and he was able to recommend her to an amazing specialist for her Convergence therapy. He knows what he is doing and I feel in very good hands here!

Dr. Luxemburg is very efficient and professional. They have impressive resources there and his team is great as well.

This was one of the terrible places. They don't listen to customers. If there is score 0 or minus I would choose that one. One star is too much for the place. Just because I asked them to confirm my insurance coverage one more time I had such terrible treatments from them. I went to the shop because my wife said that the place is very nice but that was not the case. My son got his eyeglasses with a $400.00 frame, contact lens and eye exam for the contact lens without any vision insurance some months ago. I was a bit annoyed at their way of selling their products at that time. Why would they suggest such a frame to a kid of 15 years old? He still grows and frame is just for maintaining the position of glasses. Why titanium? I don't think he will use the same frame again next year. The fashion market changes as much and fast as their longing for the money. This is acceptable. Nobody is totally free from it. But they are supposed to be nice enough for the customers. When I complained about the way they treated me they even mocked at me. So I asked my insurance call them directly. Then they realized that they made mistakes but they did not give any sincere apology. So I decided to get a prescription for contact lens since I already started it and informed them I will buy the contact lens at other places. They called me and they kicked me out after I got so much unreasonable treatment from them. The optometrist is about same. During the course of examination he keep saying (not as much as yelling but close enough) if I understand what he was saying. Most importantly, they, at least the owner of the shop is not honest. It could happen by mistake with some chance. At the first visit, they charge me $94.50. They refund me only 60 some dollars even when they knew my insurance covers for the eye exam and contact lens with 10 dollar copay, respectively. Receptionists were also terrible! Without the help of my insurance company I must have treated a lot more terribly with their mocking attitudes.

Dr. Luxenburg is awesome - professional, explains things well and uses state-of-the-art equipment. The office is well-situated, clean and has a great offering of spectacles. Front staff very welcoming - Kathy handled all the insurance details before I got there, making the experience seamless. This place is wonderful!

Both staff and physician are excellent! I am very glad I had the chance to have my eyes examined by such a professional and skilled physician. I will continue going every year. I highly recommend it!

Only got to meet Dr. Lux one time before he retired, but the appointment I had with him went very well, and he was friendly and thorough. Staff was also very pleasurable and affable.

Dr. Yoon is very patient and professional. Staffs here are very friendly and helpful. They are also great with kids. My two children are under ortho-K lenses treatment now. Dr. Yoon examined their eyes thoroughly, has adjusted their lenses many times and keeps excellent communication with us. Highly recommend this place!
