Siva Veera Anjeneyar Temple located porur, Chennai is very beautiful small temple with big tank Infront of temple. Temple history is connected to Ramayana which is really mind blowing. Here both Lard Vishnu and Lard Shiva sleeping beautifully which is really amazing you can not see anywhere else. All other God Lord Ganesh, Lord Ayyappa, Lord Dhatchnamoorthi, Lord Gayathri, Lord Dhurgadevi, Lord Rama, Laxman, Seetha and Hanuman are giving enough blessings and peace to devotes. People in Chennai can visit at least once.

Temple was maintaining good. Full of hanuman sculptures and we had Thiruppathi dharisanam in view of Purattaasi 3rd week. Due to Covid-19 they are closing the temple by 20:00 Hrs.

Nice little temple in porur.. Moolavar : Veera Anjeneyar But they have all the deity’s.. Including Ranganathar, Lord Ayyappan , Bairavar… Much crowded on the auspicious days..small souvenirs shop is also present in the temple you can shop for miniatures, key chain, stickers etc.. Two wheeler and four wheeler can be parked around the temple streets.. but limited space for the car parking..

A compact and devine place near to porur signal

Recently been to the temple. It was installed by saint shri Vyasaraja mahan during 15th century. Sri vyasaraja is the follower of dvaita philisophy which says Hari as supreme and vayu(hanuman) as supreme among souls and he installed 732 hanuman across india to spread the importance of vayu tatva. In this temple history they call shri Siva being depicted as hanuman which is totally wrong and baseless..against the will and philosophy of shri vyasaraja mahan. Shiva is definitely to be worshipped as he is mano abhimani devata(cleanes ones mind from evil thoughts) at the same time Hanuman cannot be Shiva or vice vera. It is against the sastra pramana. Nice temple. Managed by a trust. Has Anjaneyar (Hanuman) as the main deity and other deities like Ayyappa, Vigneshwara, etc. This temple also has one Siva Deity resting on Devi's lap after taking the "Halahala"poison
